Gilly was starting to wonder if they really HAD cleaned out all of the good candy; the next house seemed promising enough, but they had to give them.... "Raisins? Aww, phooey! That's not candy!" She pouted, but put it in her bucket anyway out of politeness. Suddenly her foot hit something soft, and she looked down and saw a faded, sad-looking plushie on the ground. "Aww, poor little guy! Looks like someone forgot this one." She picked it up to show Zoe.
Zoe was a bit more appreciative of the raisins, though she had to admit, candy was preferable. She could always eat it later. She looked over at the plushie that Gilly had found and looked it over. "Looks pretty work out to be brand new; hope nobody is looking for it. You could always ask the caretakers to fix it for you though."
Ruari was also beginning to think he was ready to take his stash home when he went to a promising-looking house and got....a tooth! "Yeugh!" he said and dropped it on the ground, smiling a little in spite of himself when Rumor jumped down from his shoulder to bat it around. "Well, one person's trash, I suppose....." Suddenly he saw a booth giving out plushies, and as he went up to get a better look, a strange plush was pushed into his hands. He looked down at it curiously, decided he liked the look of it, and shoved it into his pail.

Anchriesel took another handful of beanbags and, aiming carefully, once more won two more prizes. This time he got a scream bar and a one-eyed orange bunny plush. It was kind of cute, really.
Aura suddenly worried that they had been too harsh with Ved when they saw the look on Ved's face. Whoops. There they went again, being a jerk to poor Veddy...
Zalir still wasn't as lucky as Chries was, but zey was lucky enough to win a plush...um...brick? Thing? Yes, a thing. It was orange and very soft, so there was that?
Veddy felt hurt when he heard that. He'd done something wrong--he'd pushed his friends too hard--was he going to be in trouble now? Was he going to lose his friends? Oh no! He didn't dare say anything until they got to the next house. There, he got a stick of cotton candy. As they made their way back to the sidewalk, he whispered, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to--I don't want to force you or anything. Not ever."
Sound Lee hadn't gotten a stick of candy, but he had found a Flitterrat crawling up his tail. He picked it up in his hands and held it. "It's okay," he murmured. "We're not angry at you or anything. We're just getting a little tired, that's all."
Ustule nodded. She led the way to the next house, where she got a stuffed bat. "I don't ever want to lose eny of my friends ever again," she said. I've lost too many loved ones already, she thought. "Eef you don't like history museums, thet ees okay. We can surely find something to do together."
Teo nodded. "Yeah! I know a movie theater in town that has audio descriptive services--maybe we could all catch a flick sometime?"
Peri smiled. "That would be nice," he said, but in his heart, he wondered how long he could keep up with his friends...
Odessa smiled, glad to be spending this time with her boyfriend and best friend. These kinds of memories were the ones she knew she'd treasure for the rest of her life!
Kara looked at Odessa and smiled. She was happy that she managed to win a little treat from that booth and Odessa got a plushie!
Zynas was feeling a bit proud of himself for being able to get Little Miss Anti-social out. He smirked to himself, hands on his hips as he watched her being very uncomfortable in the crowd. He walked up to the table and shoved a bucket in her face while grabbing one for himself, he even gave her a lantern since he knew she'd like it. See, he wasn't entirely a terrible guy.
Lilium shivered slightly from the cold air, pulling her cloak around herself. She had tried her best to not look like herself, Zynas had tried to convince her that no one would recognize her, but she wasn't entirely convinced. "This just seems like such a bad idea." She said half out loud.
Tempo blinked, then nodded. It didn't make sense to her, but maybe she'd understand better once he showed her how it worked? She took a bite of her candied apple. “Mmm, yours are delicious. They do taste different, but apples are apples. We have slightly tarter ones back home, so we cover them in lots of sweets to counteract. These are sweet with a bit more sweet on top. Very delicious.” Tempo took another bite, enjoying the new tastes.
“So, what's new Yami? Anything going on at work?” She asked as someone slipped raisins into her pail. They thought it was a trick, but little did they know, Tempo actually liked raisins. It was harder to trick adults than children.
“You grew out of it?” Thayne snickered because the mental image of that was hilarious. “So, are we going trick or treating or what? I hear there's a haunted house, and a scary story area, and a spot with a lot of games like bobbing for apples.” Thayne said, stuffing the spider plush back into the pail. He'd been startled when he first pulled it out, but it wasn't real and couldn't hurt him.
A guy passing out caramel apples passed and Thayne snagged one, his foot brushing something on the ground. It was an ugly old toy that was missing an eye and had probably been abandoned since there were so many better plushies around. Thayne couldn't leave it lying there and stuffed it into his pail as well. Nothing stayed abandoned for long around him.
They were less desirable? What was? The festival? What a strange person. Not to mention they acted all aggressive, then tried to pretend like they weren't. Maybe the guy was Hallowed in the brain or something. “Uh...sure.” Zima agreed. “But if you're talking about the festivals...you can't really have an opinion on something you haven't experienced.” Dismissing things out of turn was ridiculous. At least Zima tried this festival out.
“And I'm here because my family dragged me out to have a good time and make friends. They're off schmoozing with their own friends and co-workers, and I went trick or treating because even lame candy is still candy. Duh.” He said, accepting a chocolate bat. “If my family hadn't moved out here I'd be having fun with my friends right now instead of stuck at this event. Besides, you're one to talk; you don't seem all that happy to be here either.”

Karasu Such a sweet treat! karasu thought as he resived the lolipop and a skeleten plushie to match" so cool" he said to cronos who was reseaving his treat.
Chons nodded though he could not see what his friend got. but the smell gave it away while cronos got gummy poo, as they went to leave cronos noticed a vespercat was fallowing him. this filled him with delight as he picked it up while his other one was on his shoulders
Frit grinned at the caretakers, she was dressed up as a dragon. So she could pretend she could fly all night. She growled and pretended to breathe fire as she ran up to her first stop for the night. Frit made funny faces at the strange turnip looking thing she was given, that certainly wasn't candy. Frit ran over to a different booth, a caretaker following her the whole way. She grinned she was going to make sure this caretaker slept well when this was all over. Frit jumped up and down when she saw a catch the fish gab and she got a little wet trying to catch the goldfish.
Muridae: 3 Trick! Plushie!
Muridae was really curious about this trick or treating festival she had never been to anything like this in her hometown. Things were so different, it was all rather shocking. Muridae still wanted to know more about all this stuff, she was shell shocked by all the activity, but at the same time, she was excited and ready to learn everything she could about this festival. Muridae walked over to the booth giving out lanterns she picked up one holding it down by her side. As she walked around looking at all the booths. Trying to decide what she wanted to do next. She let out a loud epp when she pulled an eyeball out of the bucket she reached her paw into. Shocked that she had pulled something so spooky out of the bucket. This was a very strange festival. She felt only a little better when she realized it wasn't a real eye, but it sure had scared her. The booth attendant chuckled and handed her a treat as well.
Stachys: 4 Treat!
Stachys was delighted to be running amok, his little wings flapping in the breeze as he raced ahead to the nearest house, proudly holding up his bucket for a goodie. When no one answered the door, he shrugged it off, nothing could kill his mood! He turned to leave and spotted a box sitting next to the door, labelled "Take Some". He peered closer and spotted a slew of stuffed and wooden creatures, but settled on a bright pink cat and... that one in the back was weird, but it's weirdness was adorable. Maybe he could give it to his classmates? He stuffed that into his bucket too. After all, the sign didn't say just one, right?
Eudica: 4 Treat!
Eudica had been sitting through class, her face devoid of any emotion, as was the norm. The elf was trying to get through the last half hour of math class, but her mind was wondering. Suddenly another student nudged her and passed her a piece of paper. The elf, seeing no name on it, and being curious herself, opened the paper. In bad handwriting there was a question, "Trick or Treat? After class, outside under the big tree." Eudica raised an eyebrow. Yes, she supposed she could go along with whatever this thing was, but she would not break her cool demeniour. While the girl left to go to the restroom, another tactic for helping to kill the last half hour of class that felt like days as the boring teacher droned on, she found something stuffed into her bag once she got back to desk. Eudica discreetly peered into the bag and made a face. Who gave her this weird doll?
Abrus: 2 Treat!
Trotting happily through rows of booths and clusters of trick or treaters, Abrus found himself inhaling the chill, spice scented air. Really, this was absolutely one of his favorite times of the year. The costumes, the games, the treats... It was all so wonderful. And to think, he mused silently as he took a turn at the pitching game, there are races around that had never experienced this before. Really, it boggled the mind a little bit! he came back to the present as the imp in charge of the game smiled and handed him a little ghostie treat. Smiling back, he turned to find another game to play when he tripped slightly over a seemingly discarded plushie.
Ryker was sitting cross legged with his back against a tree waiting for his daughter when suddenly a vespercat hopped into his lap. "Hi there," he chuckled and stroked it, a little surprised to note this cat didn't have any wings. And then it spit a rock into his lap. "Thanks?"
Effie grinned and snagged herself another bracelet. This one was her favorite color. As she made her way back to her daddu, she saw the vespercat in his lap. "Awww, so cute! Where'd that come from?"
Parfait was hyped up on a sugar skull when she made her way back to her sister and daddu. "Ahhh! Such a cute little kitty, daddu!!" she exclaimed and flopped down to pet the vespercat.

Bobbidi grinned and picked up a jack-o-lantern bracelet. She loved everything pumpkin, and jack-o-lanterns were her favorite use of them. Next to pumpkin pie, that is.
Jiang followed his brother to the next game booth. Kaito seemed to be enamoured of these things. As usual, Kaito let Jiang go first and the Nixie freshling was happy to get a plushie bat except... "Is this an eyeball?" Jiang shuddered slightly and dropped the eyeball into his bucket.
"Haha, it's a glass eyeball!" Kaito giggled before taking his turn. He was ecstatic to see he, once again, got the same plush his brother had gotten and beamed even more when he saw what was wrapped around one of the wings. "Look, now I have the same bracelet you do!"
