Florence, hmmn? What a lovely, unique name! Icarus would have to file that one away in to his memory bank, just in case! ”Not entirely, no. Our differences are more closely tied to our innate natures. You see, the solar cherubs are diurnal, while the lunar cherubs are nocturnal! We are almost like … how do you say … ‘sub-races’ of one another? No, no … oh, drat! What is the word? When a species develops and evolves traits based on their environment? Our people used to be quite segregated, you see, and we have always lived vastly different lifestyles. I imagine that the differences developed some time ago, lost to us in the throes of history. It’s a shame, really. I would have loved to learn all about where the divide for cherubs begun.”Oooh, Icarus had quite the itch to answer the next question! An intriguing question! It was a shame that it was a complicated one with no easy answers. Or, perhaps it was a small blessing. These people were clearly interested in the state of the Cherub and Sluagh network. That alone spoke of a great maturity that Icarus had not come to expect. Icarus addressed Jet quite contently. ”Fascinating question! I’m so glad you asked! No, no, allow me, Daedalus!” The lunar cherub had not said a single word as Icarus made a gesture that seemed as though he was holding his lunar counterpart’s eagerness to answer questions back. ”Our politics is a complicated matter. Lunar and Solar cherubs themselves are divided, and yet they are reliant on each other, and so in this we are quite dependant on the success of one another. Each Solar and every lunar is an integral cog in our society. We could not live the way we do today if not for the acceptance of our differences. If you want more details on the exact inner workings and will not find it too dry, I am happy to oblige you! As for our affiliations … well, you can see that we are quite closely tied to the Sluagh.” Icarus gestured to Cillian’s blank face, offering a charming smile before laughing, a bubbly and light sound. ”But we cherubs also quite enjoy the company of our elven friends!”Oh. A hallowed child? Eisetsu had interesting traits … Icarus was curious what traits where the mutations and which were just a result of excessive hybridization! He had seen visitors with such muddied genes passing by the windows of the cathedral before, but never Icarus seen one so up close and personal!”As anyone who becomes used to a certain way of living, the solar cherubs do have some difficulty with seeing at night time. If I am being completely transparent, it is largely because solar cherubs never truly see the darkness. Dusk is often the darkest we ever see. I must tell you, Below has been wreaking havoc on my sleep cycle!” Icarus gave a light-hearted laugh. ”Solar and Lunars are just … attuned differently. We’ll put it that way!”Aaaw, what an adorable little elven child! Ledie’s outfit was so cute! Precious little angel! How could Icarus ignore such an adorable face, and with such a fun question! ”Solar cherubs highly prioritize fun!” It wasn’t entirely untrue, but perhaps a little misleading to put it that way. ”Lavish balls, grand parties, banquets, organized public dances … you name it! Variety is the spice of life, after all!”

Ledie was really excited by Icarus's answer. "May I ask a follow-up question??" She giggled as she bounced in her puffy fennekit outfit. She hoped so, she wanted to ask Icarus if the cherubs might host fun parties in the Below. She was hoping for more fun dances not too many grand balls though she had her fill of those when she lived with her parents in the Above. Sit up straight, proper elf like behavior. Ledie wanted to bang her head on a wall the more she thought about her old life. Without her uncle springing her from the Above boredom joint she would have been trapped in that world forever!!

Nyria couldn't help but show up at the auditorium to see the new races that had shown up. She listened to everyone speak, not really sure what questions to ask, but she was definitely enjoying the answers! "Not really a question... But should you ever find yourself in the Below and wanting to stay here, I would love to throw a party just for you and your people!" She looked at all of them as she spoke, but she made eye contact with Icarus after he had mentioned parties. That was her forte after all.
"I am quite fascinated by your kind, I see that you have feathers... Do you have any relation to the Fallen?" She figured the answer was probably no, especially after someone had asked about the Fey, but this was a Q and A after all and she didn't want to feel like she had nothing to ask.

Oh, how absolutely precious was Ledie! The elven child had to be the most splendorous thing about this place so far! Icarus knew that the elves had stretched their reaches to Below, but he had not expected to meet such an adorable example of one. ”Of course you may! Please, ask as many as you’d like!” What would the child ask next? A rather fascinating looking Naga ( Nyria) took to the mic shortly after the elf. Icarus could see they would need to swiftly get more microphones set up. What a turn out! ”How simply sensational! I would be forever indebted to you! I will have to keep that in mind and relay that to my people. Thank you for your generosity! I would be most curious to see what sort of parties the nagas held! As for your question … “ a soft sigh, perhaps a forlorn one. ”We are not related. Yet another pity! I would give anything to fly and have such splendorous wings!”

Ledie smiled and said " Thank you." Then she asked " If you come live in the Below will you throw fun parties?? My mommy and daddy threw boring parties.." She grumbled Then looked up to Icarus to see what answer she would get this time.

Frit Frit had heard about the unique new people that everyone had thought were extinct, and it was the perfect excuse for her to go out and see more of the world. The nightmare looked with big eyes at the others, one in the middle in particular. Frit was almost a junior, and juniors were pretty much adults, and adults cared about things like new races and the social implications they held. Or at least, that was what she told an adult to allow her to be here. And Frit was concerned with social implications, new races, and all that culture stuff, but also she cared about discovering new thing. The little nightmare stepped up to the creature in the middle, her notebook and pen ready. "Hello! Im Frit, an imp-deamon. Not to be blunt... but what do you call yourself?" Was it rude to ask? Frit didn't know, and she hoped to use her young looks to get away with "too innocent to know better".

This child was one after Icarus’ own heart! They would have made a fine cherub. ”If the decision was made to allow our people to come and go from Above freely, I am sure we would be more than happy to throw numerous parties! What sort of things do you look for in a ‘fun’ party?”

Cillian's attention turned to Frit, large ears facing forward to indicate his undivided attention as the Junior asked her question. He was almost amused, she must've missed Icarus's speech. Good for her. Icarus was a fine fellow but so very, very long-winded. "We are called Sluagh. My name is Cillian, I am a representative of the Inner Circle." At least this was an easy and to the point question. No need for half answers there.

Ledie thought about Icarus' question, what would she want at a party no one had ever asked her that question before. Certainly never her parents. Her mother thought a party was a droll event with tea sandwiches and listening to boring music than actually having fun. Her father thought a party was being in a large ballroom talking to lots of boring people. Ledie yawned thinking of her parents. Then she said blushed and said "I'm sorry about that.. Umm, I would like lively music, balloons, dancing, cupcakes!! Other yummy stuff, lot of fun conversation!!" Ledie bounced on her little onsie covered feet thinking of a exciting fun party.

Eisetsu looked at Cillian and asked "What do you mean your soul stones were taken illegally?? Do you know who took them? Why they have been taken?" She didn't like the idea that someone had taken soul stones. She knew her parents would have been heartbroken if she had been taken away from them. She was not the emotional sort. She wanted information. She wanted to know more about everything.

Well then! It seemed this Cillian had no idea what a question and answer session was about.
And if there was anything the kumiho hated, it was uppity jerkwads.
"Two questions, if that's all right. What are you most proud of about your people–– and is it a cultural practice for the Sluagh to only answer questions that suit your purposes and give nonanswers about everything else?" they asked primly, as if they didn't understand the implication of what they were saying. Of course, it was fairly clear– what was the point of having a representative at a question and answer session that refused to answer questions, and if it wasn't a cultural norm, then why had he been chosen or come along instead of someone with an ounce of tact? Certainly the Cherubim didn't seem to be rebuffing questions.
And really, even if it had been selfishly-motivated, Chaesh's question– and that amber-coloured nightmare's before theirs– were terribly important from a purely anthropological stance, and therefore valid regardless of motivation. A race's unique gifts and vulnerabilities were what characterized and framed their culture.

Eisetsu's question caught his attention next. Again, his ears turned before he did, focusing on the small hallowed hybrid as she spoke. Hallowed. A product of yet another Elfish sin. He was not sure if he was pleased that the topic was brought up again... on one hand it would make Icarus squirm, and that was amusing... but on the other, it was a matter between the Inner Circle and the Tempest Court to sort out. "I mean that they were taken without permission." He replied plainly. "We are aware of who the culprits were and what their motive was. It is a matter for the Inner Circle and the Tempest Court to discuss, it does not concern outsiders."
His attention was brought back to Chaesh as she fired back. He expected as much. "It is Sluagh practice to only give the information that is necessary. Our ability to retain sovereignty through careful observation and interaction with others is a commendable trait." He might as well answer two questions with one answer. "If I'm not mistaken, the Kumiho employed such a tactic in the past when exposed." Oh yes, they had studied what had become of the Kumiho since their assimilation. It worked fine for them, but they had also not had as many... issues as his own people had even before the war.
He could almost sense Icarus' discomfort, after all the Cherub was being very forthcoming and so far Cillian had rebuffed most questions... He decided to relent for now. "If you really must know, we value our adaptability most."

Eisetsu gave Cillian a direct look and she whipped her two tails about in annoyance. "I'm sorry but if they are here shouldn't our people help to find them?? To make sure they are safe and being cared for properly??" Eisetsu was a glass half empty kinda of girl. "What if they are in a home being raised by someone who doesn't understand them?" Eisetsu frowned deeply since it was her problem. Her family loved her, but she didn't fit in with them, that was why she had chosen to live in the dorms and study to her hearts content.

A small gasp left the kumiho's lips as they got an answer– a real, actual answer– out of the alien-seeming Daydream. They smiled beatifically at the Sluagh– two proper answers, as well as a bit of a joking jab in response! This one... this one was all right. Especially after having admitted to the reason for his lack of forthcomingness– that took a certain level of humility. And then! Then he answered another question, if only grudgingly!
"I'm afraid I wouldn't know much about that– I was adopted down here. No more questions from me for now– thank you for your time." They would trill excitedly, if not for the fact that some people– and doubtless the Sluagh in question– would likely take it the wrong way.
Maybe, just maybe, they could try to catch up with him later, and talk about things in more detail? They certainly would be interested in hearing about their peoples' introduction Below from someone who'd been interested in and studied the matter, especially from an observer's perspective Above.

Yue bit her lip as she tried to think of a question. She didn’t want to be rude. They were all representatives of below and she wanted the Sluagh and Cherub to see them in a good light. Her Anthropologist side was fascinated and wanted to learn more about them, but if they pushed to hard would they close themselves back off and disappear? She sighed as her question got asked, well not exactly her question but it was similar enough. However she wouldn't have asked it in such a rude way. She almost wanted to face palm but that wouldn't be appropriate. "If it isn't too rude to ask, You mentioned that you had no plans to assimilate into current society at this time. Could assimilation at all be a possibility and what would you need shown from us?" Yue asked finally.
