Hikari tried her best at a booth which boasted some sort of racing game, from what she could gather, but her best wasn't quite enough when combined with the fact that she really had no idea what she was doing. The vendor seemed amused by her effort, grinning as her handed her her consolation prize.
Elspeth tried her hand a random draw luck style of game, and was quite pleased with the vendor confirmed her win, and handed her a pretty lollipop.
Finding himself in front of a whack-a-bat game, Saitama smacked the bats with great fervor as they popped up in front of him. Thirty seconds later, the bats ceased appearing, and the game's vendor appeared with prizes in hand. Saitama jumped up and down, feeling so proud of himself, he grabbed his prizes and ran off with them.
Yui methodically continued her way through the festival, stopping at various tables and booths that she found appealing or interesting in some way. At her last table, the vendor had basically thrown a rock at her, so she hoped that perhaps the next booth would be kinder. Approaching a neatly decorated booth, Yui approached it, noticing that it had some sort of game with rubber ducks floating around in a small pool of water. The vendor motioned for her to pick one of the ducks, and so she did. A number was inscribed on the bottom of it, and so she showed it to the vendor, who clapped his hands in delight and handed her an adorable bat plushie.
Azura grasped a ball in her tiny hands, and attempted to throw it at the bottle pyramid behind the vendor. After several failed attempts, the vendor gave her a sad look and dropped a rock into her bucket. Another one...?
Corrin played a strange, yet simple game at a rather fancy booth. Never having seen the game before, the Elf did not really have a clear idea of what she was doing, but she was certainly having fun. Some small amount of time went on, and the game seemed to end. Looking up at the vendor with a mildly confused face, she waited to see if she had won. The vendor smiled at the girl, and handed her a small chocolate bat.
Sign when to a new booth to play a knock the bottles down game. He was amused that each bottle was painted to look like it was a silly ghost. He wondered if there were any real ghosts around who were offended by the silly game. Sign picked up the ball and throw it as hard as he could, he knocked down a few of the bottles. He was given a yummy looking sugar skull. Sign wouldn't be sleeping much if he ate it. He shrugged and decided to eat some of his candy this was a festival after all so it was suppose to be crazy and fun right?
Gwen sighed she played another game and won a lollipop, it was good but not what she really wanted. She wanted to add to her plushie collection. Gwen had taken a break to take her familiars and other things back to her dorm so she wasn't carrying so much stuff. Gwen was a little blue, no Liath, no Anara. Gwen was by herself and she hadn't won any other plushies lately either. It was enough to start to make a litch depressed. Perhaps Gwen would go back to figuring out science, all this squishy emotional stuff wasn't getting her anywhere.
Yup it was Hallows eve tricked with questionable candy and given a plushie. Ack!! Aedus needed a freaking girlfriend so he could give them all these blasted plushies, why couldn't he have this kind of luck finding familiars??!!? Next time Aedus was going to growl till the fates gave him what he wanted. Aedus picked out the weird one that looked like a mutated elf, maybe if he ran into that fey he could give it to her. Aedus kinda wondered what she was doing and how she was doing taking care of the crocobee he had given her. Aedus sighed soft thoughts he was going crazy.
Cybelle picked up a pack of raisins he still wasn't really paying attention to where he was going. Perhaps one day he would learn that's how he was nearly knocked over by a robot. Oh well, what happened happened. The powers that be were totally not making Cybelle a target what a silly thought.
"Th--thank you." He smiled a little, then adjusted the revenant so it could hold onto him a little easier. "M-maybe you'll f-find a familiar t--too, Tomoe?" He had a feeling that might help- his own familiars had helped him when he was in the pits of his... problems. He had to exist for someone else's sake at the very least, and it worked out well for him in the end... Hence he was standing here with his girlfriend and their friend.
"Sh--should we head out?" He tilted his head to one side, though perked up a little as someone passing by handed him a plushie before disappearing into the crowd.
Yushika
Pangurban almost raised a brow, as redhead almost seemed to not believe him... but they kept their thoughts to themself if that was the case. He eyed the plushie in question, not really sure he could name what it was... Maybe some kind of plush slime? The maker did a really bad job if that was the case. "It looks homemade to me." He commented dryly, "maybe some freshling made it." Which honestly might give some context to the tearing... at least in Pangurband's mind. Bullies? They weren't unheard of at the Academy.
"You could have saved someone's work, I guess." He shrugged, then realized he didn't know this person's name. "Pangurban. You are?" A passerby stuck a fake eye in his cauldron, though he didn't seem to notice.

Meimu yawned a little, getting a bit tired from all of the hustle and bustle of the festival. The ones at home were more fun, and he knew what was going on. He continued wandering along until he happened across a birdskull laying on the ground. What was with all of these skulls? Eh, he supposed he could put it to use in some way. He picked it up and put it into his pail... then paused, eyes narrowing a little as he heard something... no, someone familiar.
Ears twitching to continue picking up the sound, he followed it until Zahneel came into sight. Oh, that was frog-girl. If she were here, then there was a chance a bunch of the others intruders were here, too. For now he kept a small distance, and just stared at the grimm girl and her companion.
Frit didn't really understand the holiday. She wandered around, looking at all the candies and treats, but wasn't sure what to make of any of this. Someone came and offered her a bucket and a lantern. Frit looked at the bucket, then up to the person who had given it to them. The stranger tried to shoo Frit away so they could go gather candy, but all the freshling did was hold up the bucket. "Oh fine! Have a treat. No run along and get lots more candies." More candy? For free? Well, this could be ok
Muridae: 17 Trick!
She had never been trick or treating before. This time of year, the hybrid usually found herself neck deep in books, reading stories, studying... she didn't socialize much when she was younger. But now she found herself wanting to spend some time with her friends. She entered the park to look for a familiar face. One of the vendors called her over, offering her a basket. She tried to politely decline, but the man insisted, and Muridae ended up with a bright pink plastic bucket. She did, however, also pick up a lantern. It was dark, and it was probably a good idea to have one. Before she left the booth, the man gave her a treat. She wasn't exactly sure what this was for, but the little ghost thing was... rather cute. She wanted to hang it in her dorm window.
Stachys: 16 Treat! Plushie!
Stachys didn't really understand the holiday. He wandered around, looking at all the candies and treats, but wasn't sure what to make of any of this. Someone came and offered them a bucket and a lantern. Stachys looked at the bucket, then up to the person who had given it to them. The stranger tried to shoo Stachys away so they could go gather candy, but all the freshling did was hold up the bucket. "Oh fine! Have a treat. No run along and get lots more candies." More candy? For free? Well, this could be ok.
Eudica: 5 Trick! Pet!
When Eudica arrived she spent some time listening to the happy screaming freshlings, watching how the caretakers took such amazing care of the freshlings. Eudica watched, how they worked, she was really amazed how they were able to keep track of so many freshlings running around trick or treating. After a little while, Eudica turned and headed to explore the booths of the festival. She picked up a lantern and started looking around the booths to see what there was to do at this event. Eudica frowned as she picked from a grab bag and picked up a strange glowy stone it was really pretty, but it felt so sad.. maybe if she kept it in a box or a glass case it would be ok...
Abrus: 12 Treat!
Abrus loved halloween. It was when his flamboyant attire, and dangerous tricks really got the limelight they deserved. The man was in a bustle this morning, readying his magic tricks, swords, and juggling "severed heads". He was in front of the mirror, applying the gruesome makeup that he was going to wear for the event, when he heard a knock on his door. The Kirin stopped applying the red face paint, and glanced at the door. Who would be bothering him at this hour? When the man opened the door he found a rather pleasant present right on his doorstep. Abrus looked around, the perpetrator was nowhere to be seen, so the kirin grabbed the gift, and hummed to himself. It must have been a secret admirer.
Travesty moved them toward the next booth, being more careful this time to not upset Facade. He stopped when they got there, waiting for the group ahead of them to dissipate before walking up and holding out his bucket. "Trick or Treat!" He was pleasantly surprised to see that he got one of those little ghosts this time. They'd definitely make good decorations.
Facade was barely taller than the table, so it took her some straining to get the attention of the person working there. She lifted her pail as high as she could and pulled it back when she heard the thunk. She glanced in and her eyes went wide, it was so pretty! She knew most people wouldn't be happy about getting a creepy looking doll, but those were the best!
"It really is." They replied to their brother, and set the flitterat back on their head where it seemed to be happy making a nest of their hair. Kiessi knew it was going to be hell to try to get all the knots out in the end, but if it was happy up there that was good enough for them. They led their siblings toward the next booth, a little curious when they got the flimsy goblet looking things. They hoped they wouldn't break before they got them home.
Lorek nearly frowned. What a bummer. The goblet he had gotten from the booth already had a crack in it. What a shame, it really had a lot of potential too.
Banshee was nibbling at her candied apple, hardly paying attention to the fact that they were at a new booth. The apple was so good she couldn't wait to eat it later! Even though she wasn't so sure about this Trick or Treating thing at first, she was really starting to get into it! She looked down at her pail when she reached the booth to see them put in a ghost, she wanted to touch it but her mother gave her a warning look so she didn't.
Taboo was also eating his apple when he felt a tug on his shirt. He glanced down to see a vespercat prowling around his legs, looking up at him with pitiful eyes as if it wanted a bite of his apple too! Well, he had to give it some, didn't he? He pulled off a little piece and put it on the ground where it could reach it, but the cat didn't seem all that interested. How strange? Well, maybe it wanted to come along then!
Tambre did her best to keep an eye on the children without holding their hands. The two youngest were so insistent on eating their candied apples right then, she could only imagine how sticky their hands were! Thankfully she had brought some wet wipes with her to clean them off when they were done. She was trying to pull them out of her purse when she heard a thunk in her pail and noticed someone had placed a bracelet in there.
Charade was still keeping her distance but also an ever watchful eye on her two children. She wished she could get closer, but there was a part of her that wouldn't allow it. She wished Sky was here, she would know what to do, but at least Travesty was being pretty responsible for now. So Charade went to a booth near them and got herself some candy she could munch on while watching.
Cimara raised his eyebrow at the strange poo like "candy" his wife had gotten and the stale popcorn he had gotten, then Cim turned to play a dart game and offered to let Aqua glow pick the plushie she wanted for her prize. "Would you like to pick sweetheart."
For Aqua glow (Verity)
Kai wrinkled his nose looking at the jar of good he had gotten. "Eww look at this Snow isn't it weird??" Then Kai smiled as he was given a bat plushie he snuggled it tightly.
Micari got a really strange spooky doll, she looked it over and put it in her treat bag. She also found a familiar with red glowing eyes she picked it up and hugged it. "Hi." she said softly. Micari followed behind Natsumi and Iah to go play the game.
Natsumi shrugged and told Iah "I don't know." then she made a spooky Ooo noise "Maybe?" She laughed and then said "Alright let's do that then I'll take you all to the haunted house." Natsumi won a plushie at the game Iah dragged her to and she bought a bag of candy to share.
Caron considered Jac's question "Well, of course, I want you as my friend, that the most important part, I like you a lot.." Caron tried to work up the nerve to actually ask her out, she had given him an opening was she asking him if he wanted her to be his girlfriend? Caron worked up his charm, finding it hard to do while he was face with the pretty imp before him. "Jac would you think I'm an idiot if I did ask you to be my girlfriend??" Caron asked softly he hoped she wouldn't laugh at him or slap him. That would certainly sour the holiday. Caron frowned when he picked up a glowy rock that seemed sad. "That's weird." He said with a shiver.
Eliza gave a soft, grateful hum in response, squeezing her new familiar (who was falling asleep in her arms) gently. Zahneel truly was the best thing to happen to her. Without Zahneel, she would still be locked away, playing the game her parents had forced her into without a thought to escape. She wouldn't be here, trying new candies and walking beside someone who truly made her feel as if she was giant.
"Thank y- oh!" She partially squeaked as a plushie was placed into her arms, struggling to shift her sleepy familiar and touch it. For her? It felt like a cat plushie. Cheeks heating faintly, Eliza offered a soft smile.
"I love it, thank you. I would appreciate if you helped me carry it. This little guy is a lot heavier then he looks." The hybrid was about to hand the plushie over when someone tapped her on the shoulder. Stiffening, she canted her head to the side, feeling someone hastily place a necklace in her hand before skipping off. Unsure, the hybrid rolled the necklace in her hand before she gestured to Zahneel.
"Would you... accept this? Something from me to you?"

Ah, maybe he would find a familiar! It was an interesting thought, to say the least.
"That'd be nice." He softly mused, ears perking up as Neptune asked if they should head out. He hadn't yet experienced the city, and with them he was sure he could do so safely. .......Maybe.

As he indicated the cotton candy towards her she gave a brief smile, taking a tinsy piece for herself. Delicious. Maybe she needed to bring Bean some later.
"It's good." She whispered softly. Something brushed by her feet, causing her head to snap over. Oh. The fennekit wiggled their tail at her, giving a soft 'scuff' sound before placing their paws up on her knees, tail wagging a mile a minute.
"...Do you think cotton candy is bad for them?"

Ah. Ava would have liked seeing the other teen scoop the goo from other troublesome students. Her eyes trailed to watch the goo before she tore her eyes away, nodding softly.
"Okay." She agreed faintly, not one for talking much. "Before we go, do you have any fears? I'm a fan of the haunted houses."

Cherie peeked again at the rock, face scrunching at the comment it induced weird feelings. Gross. Shifting her new familiar, she nodded towards the other.
"I'm Cherie! Do you want to hold him for a second, maybe? We could try and find you one."

As he waited he felt something smack into him, wincing.
"Hey!" He called, blinking as a trinket laid at his feet. Well. It WAS thrown at him, it might as well come home with him.

Now, she already had an armful of fennekit, so when a vespercat approached her she didn't have time to scoop them up or respond to their pitiful mews. Not until she at least checked the fennekit was okay. Eyes trailing up to Amatsu, she nodded towards the kitten.
"They look like they need a home, too? Do you want to take them with us?"
....
For Amatsu if he wants them!

As she waited for him to react she jumped slightly when another animal crawled into her lap. Smiling softly, she raised one side of her cape to gently cover the kittens from the cold.
"Hello." She murmured as the cats snuggled into one another, content on her lap.

What the hell. Someone dropped a disgusting candy into her pail.
"Ick." Yeah, not for the kids.

"Yes! We should start heading out!" With that, she took Neptune's hand and gently gestured for Tomoe to follow their descent into the currently spookified city.

He puffed up proudly as Lolo mentioned they matched. Then, the tears happened. Her pail was knocked over and his head snapped, wings puffed as he was about to start screeching at whoever had DARED hurt his sister when, instead, her voice caught his attention, head snapping to see the flitterat. Eyes widening, he made a move to approach, stopping when ANOTHER flitterat squeaked up at Rolo.
"I think this one wants to be friends, too!"

The scent of cotton candy startled him, having inherited more grimm-like senses. When Rhulain stated they should share his tail wagged once, head slightly nodding. He supposed they could take a quick break before the pumpkin carving experience!
"I'd enjoy that." He nodded softly towards an empty bench, figuring it'd be difficult to handle pumpkins if they were busy eating something as messy as cotton candy.
"Care to sit with me?"

As he began seeking a pen he had to step back to allow kids run by. Once dropped a hair clip, which he lifted.
"Wait.... your clip." He faintly called, relieved when the parent running after the kids turned and, with a grateful 'thanks', accepted the clip.

Echo was glad when she found someone handing out candy, accepting a bag. Maybe she'd give them to her kid later.
"Thank you." She murmured softly to the vendor.
