Alecto went to the next place and was tricked again this time, he was given a strange skull, well that was weird who gave a freshling a skull?? Alecto looked at it curiously as he mumbled "Thanks dude." to the yellow chimera at the door. Alecto wandered off distracted holding the weird skull, a caretaker watching him the whole time as usual since Alecto didn't have a mom or dad to look after him the caretakers did that and would till he was old enough to look after himself. Alecto sat down trying to figure out if the chimera had given him a real skull or not.
Tolaram looked at the strange sad rock and said "Thank you." his tone bright and honest, he wondered why the rock was sad and if he put the little rock with other rocks would it become happy? Tolaram put it next to the rock he had gotten earlier as a trick. He then spotted a poor little toy on the ground that was missing an eye that looked like it needed a home so Tolaram picked it up for a cuddle and put it in his treat bucket. Tola looked, curious what else there might be to do during the festival.
Aedus wasn't sure why he bothered coming back out only to win a darn candy bar instead of the familiar he wanted. Maybe he could find some reason for being at this bleep forsaken festival if he stayed long enough. Aedus sighed and sat down to eat his candy bar and do some screaming about the darn candy bar since it was part of the magic of the silly candy. Aedus closed his eyes and just sat there trying not to think too much. Maybe next time he would find or win a new familiar since it was what he really wanted. Maybe the fates didn't want him to have more pets.
Frit didn't really understand the holiday. She wandered around, looking at all the candies and treats, but wasn't sure what to make of any of this. Someone came and offered her a bucket and a lantern. Frit looked at the bucket, then up to the person who had given it to them. The stranger tried to shoo Frit away so they could go gather candy, but all the freshling did was hold up the bucket. "Oh fine! Have a treat. No run along and get lots more candies." More candy? For free? Well, this could be ok.
Muridae: 4 Treat!
Muridae was really happy, she wasn't in town the last time there was a treat or treating festival. So this was the first she was the first one she was able to experience since she was a little freshling. She was thrilled she kinda wanted to grab a trick or treating bucket and go trick or treating, but she felt that would be a little silly. So instead she grabbed a trick or treating bucket just for the fun of it to carry around the different booths with her since she really didn't need a lantern tonight. She picked out a cute orange bucket then she went to go look and see what games there were to play. Muridae a picked a simple lollipop game and she picked one with a black bottom. She was given a strange trick item some sort of bone skull neat. Muridae smiled and put it in her bucket. She went over to a catch the bat game, there were toy bats fluttering up by a fan and she took a net and caught one. She picked out an adorable plushie as her prize.
Stachys: 6 Treat! Plushie!
Stachys was with a group of other freshlings, all of the children chatting amongst eatch other. There was talk of candy, costumes, and surprising tricks! The dryad joined in on the conversation, stating that he wanted to be a palm tree for the candy collecting event. The other kids giggled at Stachy's decision, but the boy was not detoured. After class he cut out some big palm leaves from construction paper, obtained a nice set of brown pants and shirt, and put his costume together. The boy looked in the mirror, proud of what he had accomplished. With that the boy went out to collect the candy he was working so hard for.
Eudica: 17 Trick!
When Eudica arrived she spent some time listening to the happy screaming freshlings, watching how the caretakers took such amazing care of the freshlings. Eudica watched, how they worked, she was really amazed how they were able to keep track of so many freshlings running around trick or treating. After a little while, Eudica turned and headed to explore the booths of the festival. She picked up a lantern and started looking around the booths to see what there was to do at this event. Eudica frowned as she picked from a grab bag and picked up a strange glowy stone it was really pretty, but it felt so sad.. maybe if she kept it in a box or a glass case it would be ok..
Abrus: 1 Trick!
Abrus loved halloween. It was when his flamboyant attire, and dangerous tricks really got the limelight they deserved. The man was in a bustle this morning, readying his magic tricks, swords, and juggling "severed heads". He was in front of the mirror, applying the gruesome makeup that he was going to wear for the event, when he heard a knock on his door. The Kirin stopped applying the red face paint, and glanced at the door. Who would be bothering him at this hour? When the man opened the door he found a rather pleasant present right on his doorstep. Abrus looked around, the perpetrator was nowhere to be seen, so the kirin grabbed the gift, and hummed to himself. It must have been a secret admirer.
Aurora picked up the bottle of the strange red stuff, she watched it move around the bottle as she tilted it back and forth. Aurora blinked, it couldn't be real right?? Well whatever the case it would be an interesting item to have in her bookshop. Then Aurora went to go play a game of balloon darts the balloons were purple and black, she threw the first dart and hit a balloon, then hit the second mark and won a plushie. Aurora picked out a cute pink and blue bat plushie with a little heart on it's head. She liked it a lot. She smiled looking at the little toy.
Gekke blinked nervously when he found the strange puppet what was this thing??
Saki handed Gekke a plushie he won to make him feel better, that puppet was rather weird looking.
Cortia claimed a sweet bat plushie and declined keeping her poop candy treat, maybe a freshling would want it.
Candy Dandy happily grabbed a thing of cotton candy, woot candy festival it was like a festival made for Candy. She laughed at the thought, she hoped no one thought it was a good idea to try to nibble on her.
Litheria frowned looking at the strange trick she had been given, she wondered what it was, and why it was. She accidently dropped it and that was when she saw the lovely vespercat with the glowing eyes and only one tail. "Aww hi there want to come home with me??"
Ayida usually preferred staying in her room and doing crafts than going out. However, Haunted Hallow was definitely the exception rather than the rule. She loved seeing what people came up with for costumes. It also tended to give her inspiration for her own creations. Even though she knew it was going to be kind of chilly, she couldn't help but pick out a pretty mermaid costume, even having created some of the pieces for it herself.
Caol was happy about being able to go to the festival with his mother and best friend! He had settled on a classic vampire costume, something he wouldn't have that much problem running around in. He really wasn't known for staying still, especially with so much excitement! He was a little sad though that he and Ayida had both gotten creepy little turnip things as their first trick or treat item, but he was sure they'd get better stuff soon!
The kids had taken longer to get ready than Leddi thought possible, but she had to admit that their costumes did look really cute on both of them! She was pretty happy that she got to take them out since she knew Kroll had been busy with things. Ayida had been the number one reason they had been so late, but she did have to admit that her costume was very pretty. She wished she had had that kind of talent when she was that age.
Leddi was a bit surprised that the attendants were instant on handing her a pail and that one of the first things she got was a little babydoll. It was kind of cute though!
Pandora had almost decided not to come since it was so close to finals, but she thought that she deserved some time to relax and have some fun. School was such a bore anyway. The first thing she did was grab some cotton candy, this whole event was about the candy, right?
Kirella was a little sad that her babies were growing up so quickly, but she knew it wouldn't be long now before they were adults themselves. So she had decided to attend the festival with Keriga, wanting to spend as much time with him as she could before he decided that he was too good for his mother to hang around. She was glad in some ways that he kept his more child-like demeanor than the other two, but at the same time she knew that would make things harder for him and worried for his well being. However, for now, she just wanted to go to the festival with him.
Keriga hadn't been at the festival for very long, just managing to collect their buckets when he felt something hit his leg. He mused, looking down, when he saw a feline tail wind it's way around hin. He smiled, leaning down to gently stroke the vespercat's fur. "Hey there, Little guy." It seemed he was already getting lucky!
Isonoe didn't seem to be having the luck that her son did, she had gotten a few candies, however, and they were actually pretty good. She figured she might have to end up sharing with how little candy Apollo was getting himself, not that she minded at all.
Apollo's bucket was already feeling pretty heavy, which was definitely noted by how many plushies and toys he had already won. The newest batch was a creepy doll and a pretty beat up looking plushie, but the more he looked at it, the more he thought that they might have actually made it look that way on purpose. It was growing on him though, so in a way he guessed it was kind of cute.
{8} Clove felt like it was a never ending going door from door and getting candy, but as he walked with the group he found, it even more exciting than he thought it would be. Clove was giddy as he saw the main part of the festival, he had not been able to go because he was to young and this year, he was excited about it. Clove jumped up and down, and pointed at it, telling the rest of the group they needed to go. Clove walked in and, someone snuck something into his pale as they got to the festival.
{20} Corey sighed at Cloves excitement, looking over to where Clove was pointing, yeah Corey could see why Clove was excited the festival looked very fun. Corey was a little excited now but, kept their cool, and went along with the rest of the group, of course Corey took there time to get anywhere kinda holding up the group since they had to wait for them. Corey really did not seem to mind, as someone put something in there bucket.
{7} Meena walked with the others, she had bright eyes and as also excited at seeing the main event, nearly meeting Coreys back as they waited to get into the main area. Meena stoped just in time, to see things being put into buckets, though if they were something sweet, or a trick she did not know. Meena waited her turn in the line, she made it look like she wasn't paying attention when one of the staff dropped something in her bucket.
{13} Galathe was a little happy, she was going somewhere where there was a lot of people maybe she would see someone she knew. just as soon as she got past the front gate she looked around, it was so exciting everything was bright, and everyone looked like they were having fun. galathe felt someone poke her shoulder and she turned around to see him, she blushed, and as he handed her the gifts she blushed again and looked down in her bucket and held something out for him in return as a thank you gift.
