Maddie didn't do great, but he didn't exactly do poorly either. He could only remember a little over 30, and while it wasn't quite half-way, it wasn't like the test was for major points in the class or anything. So, for now at least, Madeline was satisfied. He could have put one down and he still would have passed. The boy wasn't fussed either way.

Nadinia slumped into her desk, and grimaced when the quiz was announced. She hadn't exactly been studying, and science wasn't exactly her favorite class. She sighed when the paper hit her desk, and she started writing, hoping to get as much out before her mind blanked out.
After a few moments of frantic scribbling, the Dryad stared down at the sheet with a frown. Twenty-six elements. ... Not great. Wracking her mind, she remembered one more. She idly started doodling flowers into the page margins, perhaps the act would help her remember ...
No more elements came to her, but her page was quite nicely decorated by the end of the quiz.

Pasteque leaned back in his chair as far as possible without tipping over. It was a fine line, and the exact sort of one he loved to straddle. He plunged the chair legs back down to the ground when the quiz hit his desk. He rolled is eyes, and slowly filled out as many elements that he knew. Upon reaching the edge of his knowledge he shrugged. The list was longer than he thought it would be. Maybe he'd learned by ... osmosis or something. ... Heh, he even know what osmosis was. Weird.

Veruca was busy eyeing up some hottie in front of her, and didn't notice the quiz hitting her desk. She spent some time playing with her hair, trying to attract their attention before she noticed the paper near her elbow. ... Whoops. The Litch slowly read the instructions, and scrawled down what she could remember. Being honest with herself, she'd been more concerned with her classmates than the class. Plus science wasn't exactly her primary interest ...

Dahvin sat attentively at his desk, despite his face mask being back on. The Kirin never escaped illness for too long during the cold months... He eager accepted the quiz, and began listing out elements. He tried to slow himself, and make sure he wasn't missing any, or duplication any work. As he worked on the list, he began to feel more and more feverish.
Eventually he layed his pencil down, and closed his eyes. He just wasn't feeling with to continue further.

Hyacinth felt her way to her chair, and smiled slightly as she located it perfectly. The smile faded off her face when she heard the word quiz. She hadn't exactly been studying, and she'd skipped the odd class. Perhaps it was all about to catch up with her...
Hearing the paper slid onto the desk surface, she walked her fingers over to it, and traced the edges. She picked up her pen and slowly started her list. Perhaps if she just took her time, she'd remember more...

Piper slipped into class quite a bit after it had begun, and slid into their seat. They dangled their feet nervously when the realized a quiz was taking place. On the elements of all things.
Quickly, Piper wrote out "Earth, Air, Fire and Water", and felt quite triumphant. They then snuck a peak at their deskmate's quiz. ... Oh ... Different elements. Uh-oh.

Frit (109) Frit LOVED science. It was about the quest for truth! The quest to find out things that others may or may not have already found out. Frit wanted to learn it all. She did know that she could not just believe everything that others had done, she needed to preform experiments and quests for knowledge by herself. A nightmare always learns better when they do something their self, so of course she wanted that experience for herself. She wanted to learn the higher truths, the things people thought were unknowable, or mysterious.

Stachas Satchas had trouble with science. See, he wanted to learn the arts, the beauty, and the amazing things that set others at awe in the world. Things that others had already done, already proven are true or just so, why should he peruse that? Its already been done! No Satchas wanted to make things to make people feel. Facts didnt really make others feel anything, so he neglected him. The little nightmare was a little embarrassed with his score, but that was okay. He was going for the arts, not the silly facts.

Usually Popple loved science, but her mind was preoccupied with other things today. When she saw her test result, her eyes went wide. "Oh. My. Gods...." she muttered to herself. Hopefully she'd be able to make this bomber of a quiz up!

Desdemona was usually pretty studious, but she was definitely better with theories than straight facts. Not to mention she wasn't all that thrilled with pop quizzes... Still, Des was shocked at how little she could remember. She kept hitting her palm against her head to try and remember, but nothing helped. With a sigh Des stared at her practically blank page and shook her head. There were few things she hated more than feeling stupid, and this class was certainly not doing great things for that. Good thing it wasn't pass/fail, huh?

Pop quiz. A pop quiz. Denzel's heart filled with dread. The words echoed over and over inside his head, layering one on top of the other until all he heard was a symphony of noise. He had not even notice the teacher pass out the test sheets. His eyes stared blankly at the paper.
A pop quiz. He had not studied enough. He should have tried harder. He should have known. Tears leaking from his eyes, he filled out a few answers before allowing his head to hit the desk in despair.

Melogene hummed to herself as she went down the list. It never even occurred to her that it might distract her classmates. Even if it did, she might not sympathise. At least not enough to stop anyway. After all the only way she was going to pass was by humming. She had taught herself a little song in order to memorise the periodic table. Admittedly, some of the names were too long or too similar for her to remember, but for the most part she knew she had this particular pop quiz in the bag.
