Kiessi was smiling, glad to be with their family when they felt something p***k the back of their neck. They nearly jumped, feeling the thing slide down and they managed to nab the thing. They were a bit surprised when they pulled up a flitterat that was trying to make a home in their hair. It was really cute, so how could they stay mad at it?
Lorek's eyes blinked when he saw his brother pull a familiar out of his hair. "Ohhh! Grats Kiessi! It's adorable!" Lorek jumped a little, trying to get a better look while keeping his vespercat from seeing it. It was then that he heard a clunk in his pail and saw a candied apple! It looked really delicious.
Banshee followed behind with her brother and mother and was happy enough when they got to a booth that was giving away candied apples. They all looked so good! Her large eyes pointed at one of them, looking at the attendant with hopeful eyes. "May I have that one, please?" She held up her pail.
Taboo made sure he stuck by his sister's side, not wanting her to be scared of all the people. However, he definitely got distracted when he saw the candied apples himself. He went up with her, eying them with a lick of his lips and then glanced at his mother to make sure it was okay.
azure was minding his own business watching the kids play while he pondered what he would do. he made his way out of the fair area and out on to the streets to wonder and explore the sights and sounds on this haunted night, he made his way down the street candy everywhere and decorations galore, he saw something glowing on the floor. strange and colorful as well he made his way over to pick it up, he found it interesting enough to keep. zinnia was carving a pumpkin at a booth using just her claws to carve it as she heard tinny squeaks around her little Flitterats were eating the left over pumpkin chunks as she carved.it was her first time carving a pumpkin, as she finished it she entered it in to a pumpkin carving contest it was a small one held once in a while threw out the festival. she didn't do to well as her roses carved pumpkin wasn't all to well made, but she couldn't exactly hold a knife with those claws. she might accidentally hurt her self ever wouldn't be to happy about that. but she ended up winning a constellation prize witch had a flitterat inside. Kyra had smiled down at chons as he held her hand she had helped him trick or treat though most houses turned them away because of him being a mutant, not everyone accepted the hallows just yet but soon they had come to a house in witch they gave him a lollipop and a cute plushie he squealed happily as he felt it finding that it was a a cat type plush witch made him so happy he had ignored the candy and began to bounce about with his pluhs while she was given a scream bar she giggled in amusement putting his lollipop in his bucket before leading him to the fair.
"I don't know what it is," she admitted, looking at her plushie she had won in the previous game ", anyhow, next game!" She brought Cim over to a balloon dart game, but wasn't doing to well at it. She ended up winning a thing of gummy poop... yuck ", ewww... I am glad this isn't the real deal."
"That is why I like it," Snow admitted, following Kaimana to help them pick out what bag of candy to get. While he was other there, someone handed him a weird turnip, the little freshling looking it over confused. What on earth was this thing?
Iah stayed with Natsumi and Micari while Kaimana and Snow Ivy went to pick out some candy, accepting his sister's gift ", Thank you Micari," he then turned to look at the bones Natsumi had found, him tilting his head confused ", bones? Why are there bones here? Are they real?" The naga then noticed a fun game where you threw balls at bottles to win prizes, taking a hold of Micari and Natusmi's hands ", Let's play that game. It looks fun!" He ended up winning some terrible candy as a result, but also a plushie! It was better than nothing right?

"You're welcome," they chuckled some, coming upon the next house. After being done with this house, Ziron thought that maybe the festival would be a better place to get candy. They were not getting that much, and they wanted Axum-Vesta to be able to have more candy than she had currently gotten. Besides, they felt that after the two toys, one being a creepy puppet, it was time to move on. Sure the plushie was nice, but the puppet was too much.
Axum-Vesta wasn't sure why her daddy was so invested in candy. Toys were cool too... although she didn't get any toys. She ended up getting a sugar skull, which was cool! Maybe heading to the festival would be a good idea? Maybe she could even make some friends!

The two friends came to a simple trivia game that was giving out candy, Coralie giving the trivia a shot and getting enough answers correct to get herself a chocolate bat. Sweet! So far she and Awanata had been hitting it good!
Now it was Awanata's turn, her doing a little worse than Coralie with the questions. However, she still won a pretty neat prize, a little ghost! She found it quite intriguing, attaching it to her pail so everyone could see it.

There were quite a few bones being given out as tricks tonight, and Irison just couldn't figure out why. With a chuckle though, the naiad just let go of any discomfort caused by them ", Well, hopefully I won't have to pick any bones off tonight to get any of the good prizes."
Rodina was still on the hunt for easy game that heaped big rewards, coming to a trivia booth and listening to some of the answers. Those were easy! She would get these right in no time! However, she didn't do as good as she was expecting, only receiving a bracelet. Why were these games harder than they looked?
This holiday event was slowly starting to pull Kerigade into its excitement, him playing a simple balloon dart game and winning a caramel apple. He liked this treat, so he was glad they were giving them out as prizes here. Hmm... what else was there to get?
Not as lucky as others could be, Quilo managed to be gifted by someone passing by some not so good candies. Maybe they just simply wanted to get rid of them? Oh well, she didn't mind them so much. With the hard candies now in her pail, she continued on her quest for sweets.

That was a relief to hear, and yet... somehow he still felt a small put of dread in his stomach. This was too easy. Histeol he wagered might understand- he had a family and he was certain he might also get a little distant if one of his relatives was suffering... But Perigor... Perigor was always a guess. Xeizii smiled a little more behind his mask, nodding at Ustule. "I theenk thet they weell, Prometheus is right thet they are stubborn." He couldn't help but laugh a little at that. "I elso theenk they would like you e lot. They steeck to the treditions." A rather vague statement as there were many traditions to stick to, but he'd phrased it that way on purpose. She could interpret it how she liked.
Perigor's arrival caused him to sort of- belatedly- jerk his head in the direction of the approaching boy. He blinked a few times, taking him in as he approached. He certainly fit the mental picture he'd put together from Prometheus's description of him. "Eet ees good to meet you es well." He almost offered to extend a hand like Prometheus, but thought better of it if only because hand touching increased germ spreading and, well, he was already taking a risk being out with so many people.

Amatus nodded, "oh yes, definitely. I mean, for all we knew the world ended at the sands, yeah? Then suddenly they stop and there's like, more world than we could possibly have ever imagined? Haha a lot of the old folks are still kinda convinced we're in the End Times or something." He waved a hand with a snort of a laugh, and shook his head as if to show just how ridiculous that was.
"Oooh that explains it! I'm usually out of class as soon as its over so I can get to a rehearsal or something." He shrugged a little. "Oooh, really?? That's so cute!!" Again he was clapping his hands to show just how enthusiastic he was. "It seems so! After all we just met, huh?" Amatus winked, and grinned widely. He hadn't met Iron through a festival... but something told him that Iron wasn't really the festival type.

He was about to leave, really he was, but as he turned to look for the exit another person bumped right into him. He stumbled to the side a couple of steps, a little bewildered but unharmed. It took him a moment to register that it was another person that had bumped into him, but when he did he shook his head slowly.
"It's fine... I wasn't paying attention." He shrugged a little, then noticed the kid that had shoved them making a face in their direction before running off. "Was that a friend?" That... didn't seem like a friend-y thing to do, but he supposed he didn't really know.

Frit was delighted to be running amok, her little wings flapping in the breeze as she raced ahead to the nearest house, proudly holding up her bucket for a goodie. When no one answered the door, she shrugged it off, nothing could kill her mood! She turned to leave and spotted a box sitting next to the door, labelled "Take Some". She peered closer and spotted a slew of stuffed and wooden creatures, but settled on a bright pink cat and... that one in the back was weird, but it's weirdness was adorable. Maybe she could give it to her friend? She stuffed that into her bucket too. After all, the sign didn't say just one, right?

Muridae was really curious about this trick or treating festival she had never been to anything like this in her hometown. Things were so different, it was all rather shocking. Muridae still wanted to know more about all this stuff, she was shell shocked by all the activity, but at the same time, she was excited and ready to learn everything she could about this festival. Muridae walked over to the booth giving out lanterns she picked up one holding it down by her side. As she walked around looking at all the booths. Trying to decide what she wanted to do next. She let out a loud epp when she pulled an eyeball out of the bucket she reached her paw into. Shocked that she had pulled something so spooky out of the bucket. This was a very strange festival. She felt only a little better when she realized it wasn't a real eye, but it sure had scared her. The booth attendant chuckled and handed her a treat as well.

Stachys grinned at the caretakers, he was dressed up as a dragon. So he could pretend he could fly all night. He growled and pretended to breathe fire as he ran up to his first stop for the night. He made funny faces at the strange turnip looking thing he was given, that certainly wasn't candy. Stachys ran over to a different booth, a caretaker following him the whole way. He grinned he was going to make sure this caretaker slept well when she was all over. Stachys jumped up and down when he saw a catch the fish gab and he got a little wet trying to catch the goldfish.

In spite of the fact that she knew she should be studying, Eudica couldn't resist the siren song of the Haunted Hallows. Running from her room, she'd thrown herself at the game booths. And for her trouble, she'd won a chocolate bar. It was resting inside of the pail she'd been given and she'd for sure eat it later. But first. Games. All the games.
Abrus: 9 Trick! Plushie!
When Abrus arrived he spent some time listening to the happy screaming freshlings, watching how the caretakers took such amazing care of the freshlings. Abrus watched, how they worked, he was really amazed how they were able to keep track of so many freshlings running around trick or treating. After a little while, Abrus turned and headed to explore the booths of the festival. He picked up a lantern and started looking around the booths to see what there was to do at this event. Abrus frowned as he picked from a grab bag and picked up a strange glowy stone it was really pretty, but it felt so sad.. maybe if he kept it in a box or a glass case it would be ok.
Xiaoshi barely was able to real herself in, Maple was making an almost adorable confused expression and it would be rude to laugh any further. Besides it wasn’t because she was really laughing at Maple any ways. She gave a small smile when Maple gave her name. It was a very nice name.
“Uh… well…” Xiaoshi looked over to the side sheepishly. “I can say I honestly don’t. I’ve really only been down here in Below for about a month. My plan was to just randomly wander around and if I get terribly lost call my friend to come rescue me, but I would be absolutely delighted to have a knowledgeable guide” Xiaoshi smiled totally reaching over with out batting an eyelash to remove what appeared to be a jar of slime from another juniors hand. It looked like they had been about to dump it on somebody... probably. The snickering meant that something not good was up. Still having been caught they gave Xiaoshi a rude gesture before running off into the crowd.
Anyways maybe having Maple guide her around would help her make a new friend. She hadn’t had any real friends back home and she was hoping that Below would be different.

He needed to think of the current situation. He was happy now. He had a family and was out of that orphanage. He wasn’t abandoned and he knew that Lapis was going to give the fennekit a better life now. Things were good now. He blinked as suddenly the fennekit was level with him and he noticed both Lapis and said Fennekit where facing him currently.
Oh he knew that tone. Bismae had used it when she had demanded that his name was Hattu and they were going to be friends. Dad used it when he asked Amatsu to help with the dishes. It meant that Lapis wasn’t’ suddenly going to hate him? Not for this at least. “Yeah. Yes I will....thank you.. We can raise it together with the vesperkitties”
“Yes I always found Revenants adorable. I don’t actually own one. I own a vesperkitty and a Fennekit. This one looks super happy to have a home” Nasai stated being careful not to touch it since she didn't have permission. Oh that could have been absolutely disastrous but yay for the cute familiars being an experience and saving the day. Still she was soo not telling Morin when she got home.
It was then that her hand was tugged and a little freshling who seemed to be handing out plushies considering their basket of plushies handed one to Nasaiki with a big smile. They then apparently got all shy and ran off leaving Nasai holding a plushie. Well that was different.
“Ah yeah” Nasai stated snapping back to the question about the rock. “I actually got pranked walking into the festival by a bunch of kids. Rock is really pretty but you touch it and gives you really weird feelings. I’m not actually sure why I still have it to be honest”

Oran almost had a slightly disbelieving face on but wouldn’t they have said it wasn’t alright if it really wasn’t, and she tried her best not to think of people as liars. She was more used to surly people like her older brother… which truthfully didn’t really help her people. What was she supposed to do now? “Ah if you’re sure” Oran finally stated.
When she saw the kid, she stuck her tongue back at them, not the most mature thing but the safer thing. “Ugh… little…” she mumbled under her breath and then turned towards pangurban.
“No, I can’t say I’ve ever seen that kid before tonight. It was just trying to rip apart this plushie, and I thought that was unfair. Sure the plushie is a little bit strange but it looks like some put a lot of effort into making it or attempting to make it … or maybe I’m just being overly romantic” Oran replied dusting said plushie off. She’d had to ask Oberon if he’d fix it for her.
Kyleigh flopped onto the grass to take a break from walking around the festival. Her new revenant friend brought her a brown paper bag. Given the familiar's first 'gift' the Fallen girl was skeptical of this one, but she opened it anyway to find a purple sugar skull. "Thank you!"

At the next booth, Dani won some kind of creepy puppet. "Well...okay that's just wrong," she said and stuffed it in the bottom of her bucket. "What did you girls get?" As she waited for the girls to take their turns, a lovely little vespercat twined between her legs. "Hello pretty~"
"Ugh. Who gives raisins out for Haunted Hallows?" Crux huffed. She won a cute little plushie, though, so maybe it wasn't so bad.
Maylis shrugged. "I like raisins." She smiled and won the same plushie that Crux had which made both girls grin. They loved getting similar treats and toys.

Was this real? Harley peeked into her bucket to see that along with a cute looking plush, she was given a bird skull. If anything, it was neat to look at, in not morbid.
"No way!! Thanks!" A bag of sugary skulls was placed in his bag, along with a small bat. This was the best festival ever. And this was only the beginning!
"Um... What the heck is this?" Another strange substance in a bottle given to him for the festival. Hopefully it didn't leak and get on anything else.
"Finally..." Alex was glad to finally get some candy. The eyeballs looked pretty weird, but hopefully they were decent balls of sugar.

Xiaoshi barely was able to real herself in, Maple was making an almost adorable confused expression and it would be rude to laugh any further. Besides it wasn’t because she was really laughing at Maple any ways. She gave a small smile when Maple gave her name. It was a very nice name.
