Write Three Prompts (You must write 500 words to any roleplay or solo inspired by event prompts; these do not need to be finished and you can repeat prompts)
Post to Claim an Individual Participation Reward
Check the Master Character List and review to make sure your characters are on the list and in the correct place. If you find any mistakes (not on the list, on the list in multiple or incorrect places, misspelled, broken link, etc., please post in the Master Character List Correction Thread so we can update things! If you have a character that does not yet have a journal posted to link to, please set one up. If you have made an earnest attempt to review all of your characters and cannot find an issue, you can claim this space. Please only post for your own characters or contact The Space Cauldron directly if you notice anything unrelated to your character!
Row 3:
- Play a Dice Rolling Game (Make at least one post; you don't have to win)
Post for an Icon * (If you have posted for an Icon since May 1st 2024, you can just link to that post instead of a new one!)
Write Five Prompts (You must write 500 words to any roleplay or solo inspired by event prompts; these do not need to be finished and you can repeat prompts)
Start a New RP (This can be started by either you or your roleplay partner and does not need to be inspired by a prompt; you simply need to write 500 words in any new RP started between the dates of June 1st and 11:59 PM PST Sunday, July 7th.This only needs to be a Regular but can also be a battle; this RP cannot be the same link as the 'Start a Battle')
Row 4:
- Update a Journal* (New players may link to an application quest; existing players need to link to any one journal that is up to date and includes at least one Star Festival RP. Players can judge what 'up to date' means to them, but they must have at least one Star Festival RP in their RP log. All approved and acquired characters must have journals posted, so please make sure you are doing this for all new characters. Please remember that in the near future we are going to compile a list of characters who do not yet have journals but are acquired and set up a temporary journal post so we can keep track of them! Now is a good time to set up a journal if you haven't done so yet!)
Start a Battle (This can be started by either you or your roleplay partner and does not need to be inspired by a prompt; you simply need to write 500 words in any new battle RP started between June 1st and 11:59 PM PST Sunday, July 7th)
Send in a Character Recognition message. This might be a Fourth Stage Nomination for yourself or any other player, or it might be any other recognition for a player's efforts. This should be based on the character’s merit and should be used to praise or bring light to something they have done or are working on. This is not something anyone other than staff will see; we are looking for characters who deserve some recognition. These messages will help staff plan for potential plots to invite players to and potential IC and OOC rewards. We are not only looking to nominate more players for Fourth Stage but we also want to reward characters or players for contributions regardless of fourth stage criteria. You can use the Fourth Stage Nomination form and edit it to reflect your recognition (which might be acknowledging a character's efforts towards a goal, an aspiration they are trying to reach, or obstacles that they have overcome) ; if you have ideas for something that you feel might be some sort of useful reward or acknowledgement, we will consider it! Please nominate your own characters if you are comfortable with this; you know your characters better than anyone else and we want to know what they are up to and what paths they want to explore, or what goals you would like for them to pursue. We want to reward characters and players, and help run plots that might help them better reach their goals. This is not a popularity contest and this does not guarantee rewards, but it will help us keep our eye on characters who may deserve extra rewards, or plots to run to help characters reach their goals. Please submit these messages to The Space Cauldron! You can send in as many of these as you like. When posting to claim for Bingo, please just note that you sent in a PM rather than posting it here.) Please remember, this is different from a Player Appreciation Message!
Write Seven Prompts (You must write 500 words to any roleplay or solo inspired by event prompts; these do not need to be finished and you can repeat prompts)
Please only make one post in this thread; if you complete the first task, you can edit your post when you have completed the second task as well. There is no specific form to claim, you just need to establish which tasks you have completed to claim a prize in your post!
You must post a link to the threads you are using to claim a square. Unless otherwise specified, you do not need to use event prompts; for example, you may use any battle or solo started during the event for their respective Bingo squares even if they don't use an event prompt. With the exception of “Write 5 Prompts” and “Write 7 Prompts”, all links must be unique. For clarity, the following Bingo Squares cannot share the same links when claiming: Write One Prompt, Write Three Prompts, Write One Solo, Start a new Roleplay and Start a Battle. When Claiming "Write 5 Prompts" and "Write 7 Prompts", you can use links applied towards all other squares. It is possible to claim Bingo with only 7 RPs/Solos written.
A list of IC RP Items (one time use, permanent, and enhancements) can be found here, and a list of Growth Items can be found here. Please make sure to post in the Growth Item log linked above or the RP Item Log that can be found here after you claim your prize in this thread!
The prizes are non transferable; they are a reward for you completing the tasks!

Cosmic Companions
After a great beast was destroyed one summer, it exploded into a thousand tiny wisps. Some were caught in objects and enchanted them, but others--larger, more powerful pieces, scattered around Destiny City and continued to wander aimlessly. Each hummed with a small, radiant little energy signature. Some were more loud than others; some wanted to be found, and some slipped into hiding. There’s no telling how many are hidden around the city, waiting for the right time to come out. Fortunately, now seems to be a good time! Suddenly, it seems like each wisp is calling for someone, looking for help. Drawn out by the influx of strange magic in the air, the wisps have crept out of their hiding places and can again be captured!
These wisps will float through the city as if they are in search of something–and then, they find it.
It’s you.
These wisps can magically bond to a powered character and will manifest to hover nearby when they are powered up. If a civilian manages to bond with the wisp, it will disappear until the civilian powers up. Wisps can bond to non-human characters who cannot naturally power down, such as Mauvians, Youma, and Vanguardians; the Wisps will manifest with those characters as long as they are not concealing their identity with a civilian glamour.
Through RP, Wisps can evolve into a Cosmic Companion; neither form gives a battle advantage and will not unlock special abilities, but they can provide additional flavor text to roleplays.
This prize can be claimed by any character, even if they did not participate in any Star Festival prompts or events. Players do not need to choose a character to win the prize immediately, but must let The Space Cauldron know who they are claiming if they decide after threads are locked after 11:59 PST on Sunday, July 7th. OOCly, you can claim the prize at any point in time between now and the end of the event on July 7th. ICly, your character can find a Wisp wandering around Destiny City at any point in time!
Growing a Wisp into a Cosmic Companion
When someone completes ten roleplays or solos that include the wisp in some way (either through its active presence in the RP or by referencing it somehow in the RP), they can then pursue a solo or roleplay where the wisp will explode in a burst of energy, only to reform in the shape of a companion creature. This creature will be small, no larger than a medium sized dog, but they can take the form of any magical or non magical creature. Unlike Knight Summons' these are not battle companions. They will take on a solid form and will become tangible; they do not need to eat, but they may choose to do so. They do not seem to get sick, but if they are injured they will bleed white energy, and can only heal in powered domains.
They will most commonly remain in a characters private powered domain (their office or most frequented area of Negaspace if a Negaverse character, their homeworld if a Senshi, their Wonder if a Knight, their Realm or the common space of Mirrorspace, the private residence of a Vanguardian, etc.) but can also accompany characters randomly when they power up.
These creatures can be permanently destroyed as if they were any other living creature; if they are damaged beyond the point of healing, they will evaporate into mystical white light. They have eternal lifelines and will never perish of old age, but if they are destroyed they cannot be recovered. They do not appear to have any magical abilities, although they can appear abnormal or magical, and they have incredible intelligence for any animal creature. These creatures cannot write, talk, or communicate verbally, but they are smart enough to problem solve, read emotions, and respond to commands.
When threatened with danger, they often retreat; the Cosmic Companions have the ability to pop in and out of a sub-dimension that only they have access to. There’s no telling where they go or what they do, but they can come and go as they please.
While these creatures may accompany their companion in their civilian life, it would be dangerous to be seen with the same creature while powered up and down. They tend to thrive near magical locations, and greatly prefer a private powered domain, but they may get bored and visit even while powered down if it is safe enough to do so. They are bonded to the starseed of their companion, and even a side swap cannot break this bond. The Cosmic Companions cannot be given away or traded. If a character with a bond dies, the Cosmic Companion may be rehomed, but this will need to be approved through plot. If the Cosmic Companion perishes, someone may acquire another one but this also needs to be disclosed and approved through plot.
When you are ready to claim your Cosmic Companion, please fill out the following form and send it to The Space Cauldron:
