Under Construction (11) : Construction in Destiny City is a constant; it is never surprising to see buildings come and go. However, almost overnight it seems as though a large project has suddenly come to life. Where there was once an abandoned strip mall and a sad, trash laden park, the ground has now been completely bulldozed. There’s no information about this project available in any media outlets or online, and all attempts to research it result in dead ends. A large fence has been put up, but twelve feet of wire isn’t enough to keep out anyone curious enough to investigate. Cameras are set up all over the place and there is a strange, almost magical energy. The space is large enough to be a theme park. Strangely, frosted glass stars in an array of colors can be found randomly across the lot. Someone obviously has big plans for this space–already, some strange, fantastical buildings are going up. The space feels strangely large, and once you have jumped the fence it feels like Destiny City is a world away. The sky seems brighter and the city lights seem far away, almost as though there is some strange barrier separating the construction zone and the rest of the city. And, oddly enough, if you are standing outside the fence and looking into the construction zone, everything appears blurry and it's hard to make out the details. It’s strange, for sure–but nothing seems wrong about it. Yet.

Byakko had been by here earlier and something caught her attention so she brought her sister with her and looked at her, "Look at what they're doing to the old strip mall!"

Byakko was very interested in what was going on behind the fence. From this side it looked rather fuzzy, like someone had thrown a privacy screen or a blur filter on the fence for lack of a better explanation.

Tea was peering through the fence looking curiously but it was difficult to make out what they were working on. "I think we should check it out!"

She seemed curious enough to look around, "We can probably get over this fence pretty easily and plus it seems odd you can't see anything at all clearly. This fence shouldn't prevent that right?"

The youngest didn't wait for her sister to answer before starting to scale the fence quickly.

Byakko watched her sister scale the fence and she grinned, "Tch, amateur."

She moved to find something to use as a middle ground to jump, finding that it'd probably be best to use the light pole as her vaulting spot she jumped to the light pole then sprung over the fence and was back on the ground before her sister finished climbing the fence.

"Hurry up slowpoke!" She called as she laughed a bit. Looking around the construction yard noticing there were a bunch of large frosted glass stars. It was very interesting.

There was a pause as Tea looked at her sister when she got to the top and jumped down, "Cheater." She said as she stood close to Byakko looking around the construction site and then looking up towards the sky.

"Weird. . . ." She said softly, "The sky seems brighter, and the city just feels further away here." She mused as she looked around the site. She noticed also the cameras.

"We better be careful, no idea who's watching." She said pointing her sister to notice one of the cameras.

Byakko was looking curiously as her sister mentioned the sky and how it seemed brighter but the city seemed further away. And it was true. The elder sister looked curiously, "Yeah, it feels . . . magical."

This was curious. "I wonder who's building this."

Tea seemed to think as she started to walk around to explore. The construction wasn't done yet obviously, there were some interesting buildings that looked pretty much like they should be in some sort of fantasy movie. And the frosted glass stars.

She was looking at the stars and peeking inside them, "Think they'll light up when they're done building this?" She asked her sisters opinion.

"Maybe?" Byakko moved across the way and paused to gaze at the stars, "It would make sense if they did light up. They'd probably be even prettier. Put like a flickering light that mimics a candle or twinkling star?"

The thought seemed to please her a bit, and then she paused, "I wonder if it's going to be a theme park? That would be pretty cool." The curiousness of it she wondered what the theme would be though, space? Space themed could be cool. Specially if they figured out a zero gravity ride.

Tea pulled out her phone, which had a fuchsia star charm on it, and tried to use the phone to figure out if there was anything in the news about this. "Do you think it's a theme park or maybe a themed office park?" She said curiously looking at the buildings and the way they looked.

"Though I suppose it would be weird to have it as an office park but this is Destiny city." She added as she continued to try to search using GPS and whatever she could figure to try and locate information. "I can't even find anything on who's bought this or what's going on here."

Byakko was looking at her sister who was trying to look up information on the buildings. "Well maybe it was a closed sale or something?" She couldn't imagine that everything would be transparent.

She pulled out her phone which had an amber charm on it and was looking thoughtful. "I want a picture of the stars though, they kind of make me think of the wishing stars you find in animal crossing." She used her senshi phone to snap a couple of pictures of the stars.

"Lets go check out the construction equipment, think someone would leave plans somewhere?" The chibi senshi seemed curious as she headed towards the closest piece of construction equipment which happened to be a bobcat.

Byakko was laughing at her sister as she headed to check into the construction equipment but then again, she paused and started to follow. "I highly doubt they'd just leave blue prints laying around."

Byakko jumped into the crane to check it out though just in case. "That'd be very unsecured and dumb of them. However, that doesn't mean we can't explore the equipment, as long as we don't turn anything on or break anything."

"Yeah, I guess that would be irresponsible leaving plans just laying around." Tea seemed a bit bummed about the idea just being popped before she could even attempt to entertain the notion.

"If it's a business park though I'd be greatly disappointed." Tea was hoping for something more fun than just a stuffy business park there were enough of those around.

Byakko nodded to her sister as she investigated the crane. She didn't find much that would be interesting but there was a key for something she didn't think it was the machine; a radio; and an apple. Though it looked her like the apple was starting to become over ripe.

She was looking over the construction field from her perch and nodded, "Hey I think we should probably get ready to go. I don't want to chance someone sending security." She'd seen something she thought move and didn't want to chance what it was.

Tea was looking through the cab of the bobcat and found a picture a child had drawn for their parent. She thought it was adorable because it looked like the dad was the bobcat operate and the kid was pretty good at drawing she thought, it was rough but you could tell it was a bob cat and a person standing beside it.

She also found a packet of sunflower seeds. "Yeah, I think you're right we should probably go."

Tea climbed out of the bob cat and followed her sister back out of the construction site. "I hope this place opens soon so we can see what it is!"
