Lacaille had gone to the merchant before and she had spoken to them and she figured perhaps this year she would actually trade for something for herself. She was disappointed to find that the merchant was no where to be found and when she went to ask other senshi she knew they had no idea where he was either. She was worried being a mysterious merchant seemed to be very important to him. She wasn't sure why perhaps he was somehow bound to the task like some sort of story book character like a genies bound to their bottle and forced to grant wishes. After all it kinda was what he did trading things and granting the wishes of those who came to his table.

Lacaille sat on the hill that he normally could be found her mind wandering as she thought of reasons that he wasn't where he should be. Perhaps he had been kidnapped and the knights and senshi needed to find a way to save him, but if that were the case where would they even start looking? As far as she knew no one knew where he had come from or what he liked to do for fun. For all she knew he wasn't even from this galaxy. She sighed and laid back on the grass watching the clouds drift by.

There just had to be an answer to this, she wracked her brain trying to think of what she could do, she refused to believe he just decided not to come this year. It just didn't sit right with her that was the answer. She wondered perhaps he had picked a more secret spot this year to make it harder to find him to trade for things. She didn't think that was right either. Lacaille sighed deeply.

She had no more answers then when she had started thinking about this problem, she kinda wished she had someone to bounce ideas off of then maybe they could come up with something. Then again this city had a way of turning up things when it was ready. It was a very magical city after all. A wonder of imagination made real. She loved this whacky city and she hoped the merchant was alright and wasn't hurt. She also knew she needed to gain a power that didn't depend on the emotions of others or well the books they read. Since if he was in trouble she wasn't she what help she would be since she wasn't great at combat. She really needed to do more training and see about gaining more magic so she could be more useful helping other senshis and knights in the city. Lacille stayed there on the hill for a while thinking and daydreaming. She wondered if something useful might come to her if she stayed there long enough. Soon she had fallen asleep in the grass, her mind drifting in useless dreams about nothing she could pinpoint off hand. She walked in her dreams to nowhere per se. Lacille rolled over and found an opal star charm in the grass.
