Hobbies:
i’m not weird and creepy, i’m cool and awesome -- What started as perhaps just an overactive imagination, turned into possible teenage rebellion, until it became the chuunibyou Alise is today. Originally starting as just a love of spooky scary things, including creepypasta and ghost stories, it has evolved over the years and taken on a life of its own, until it became an entire persona. From the ‘cool’ poses to the dramatic speeches and talk of things like rituals and curses, she has a habit of weirding out her classmates and making her mom’s friends… well, very uncomfortable. Even though this has gone on since childhood, her mother still hopes this is just a phase Alise will grow out of… eventually.
every day, i imagine a future where i can be with you -- Alise still loves spooky things in general, though, even to this day- her favorite types of movies are horror movies, and her favorite types of tv shows are the ones that explore things such as unsolved mysteries or have people investigating ghost sightings. She enjoys video games of the survival horror genre, such as the SCP games, as well as psychological horror games, such as Doki Doki Literature Club, and is always happy to share the details of whatever new SCP she learned about today, as well as sharing jumpscare compilation videos with her classmates. Oversharing? She doesn’t think so.
the cat whisperer -- Ever since that fateful day a magical talking cat gave her that pen and magic powers, and especially more so now that Etoile lives with her, Alise likes to think of herself as a Friend to All Mauvians. She makes a point of seeking out other guardian cats when she has a chance, trying to get to know them and befriend them. Although technically even having Etoile board with her in secret is a big risk, she still every now and then tries to maaaaaybe see if she can possibly convince them to live with her, if they don’t already have a senshi.
Collecting plush rabbits - Originally started by (supposedly) well-meaning grandparents who took Alise's love of rabbits and ran with it, Alise has a rather large collection of plush rabbits, that take up a large portion of space in her room. When she was younger, she used to spend some of her allowance money to buy even more, swearing anyone who caught her to secrecy, and holding tea parties with them in private; now that she's older this has largely tapered off, and the tea parties have stopped. Still, every now and then Alise will find herself buying a plush rabbit or two that catches her eye, the more unusual-looking, the better, and gives them names and backstories. They're arranged in odd ways throughout her room, to where it might seem like they're staring at any visitors who enter her bedroom, and occasionally, they play audience to her strange 'rituals' that she finds online.
Virtues:
my ancestors are smiling at me imperial, can you say the same? -- Alise is a fairly fearless person, who doesn't scare easily, if at all, and is the kind of person one might task with going ahead to scout for danger... provided she's not the one attracting it (which is often). It might just be bordering on plain foolishness, and honestly usually is, but she doesn't shy away easily when confronted with a problem. She considers herself the kind of individual who can be relied upon to bravely charge forth into battle and come out victorious, and won’t back down from a challenge.
(The jury is still out on whether this could be considered an admirable trait, given her persistently stubborn nature, but Alise insists that she’s stubborn in a good way, and no, she isn’t taking criticism at this time..)
you’re the challenge I’ve been seeking -- Alise is very much a take-charge, proactive kind of person, who acts on her own without waiting to be told to do so. She's a leader-type, who prefers taking charge over following someone else, and isn't afraid to take control when the situation calls for it, or just in general. Why wait for someone else to step in, especially when this is a chance to prove herself? Alise may be just your 'average' teenager, but if something needs to be done, she feels she's the right person to come to for it, and one shouldn’t have to rely on an ‘adult’, of whom she tends to feel are fairly useless.
Flaws:
the risk I took was calculated, but man am i bad at math -- Fueled by bravery, or just plain stupidity, Alise is very much a ‘leap first, maybe make up a plan on the fly later’ sort of person. She charges headfirst into danger without a second thought, eager to perhaps both prove herself as capable of handling senshi things on her own, but probably more for the sake of showing off. It’s mostly dumb luck that’s kept her out of any major trouble thus far, but it has the side effect of making her feel untouchable, which further enables her reckless behavior. Eventually, it’ll catch up to her, but for the moment, Alise does what she wants and refuses to listen to any adults who try to tell her what to do.
i am NOT pretending to be some kind of character! -- It’s not ‘just a phase’ mom! Ever since awakening as a senshi, Alise has felt that she’s meant for some sort of higher purpose in life- which her general misadventures and fellow enabler of a guardian cat have encouraged. Her chuunibyou persona, together with her ‘defender of justice’ schtick, have combined to form the ultimate disaster child… not that she’s a child anymore, whose chaotic personality tends to cause trouble wherever she goes. For all her insisting on wanting to be treated like a young adult, and not a small child anymore, Alise is very good at acting childish and immature, complete with the foot stomping and huffiness.

Lepus tricks an opponent (or opponents-up to two) into feeling compelled to go chasing after what they believe to be Lepus running away from them. Once they get close enough (3-5 feet, within reaching distance), 'Lepus' turns out to be a fake, an illusionary white rabbit that promptly poofs away. This cannot be used from a short range, and the attack relies on the opponent falling for the illusion; those less susceptible to being tricked will easily see through the illusion quicker than those who are more gullible. It lasts for twenty seconds, and she can use this up to three times.
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Troublesome Rabbits
Much like the first attack, Lepus tricks her opponents into chasing after a fake Lepus. This time, however, there's two of her- who go running into opposite directions; no matter which one her opponents choose to chase after, the two fake Lepus will ultimately meet back up with each other and merge into one Lepus, which then turns into a bunny that disappears, once her opponents get close enough, leaving her opponents confused and possibly disoriented. This lasts for thirty seconds, and can be used twice.
Super Sailor Scout Attack B: Leaping Rabbit
Invoking the strength of the rabbit's powerful hind legs, Lepus delivers a magically enhanced jump kick to an opponent, capable of knocking them back. At player discretion, lingering damage can be done to a target, but otherwise leaves no permanent injury, only the sensation of having the wind knocked out of them. This attack can work both from close range and also from up to a 5ft radius if Lepus can get a running start. The magic strength boost lasts for thirty seconds, and she can use this attack twice.
Eternal Sailor Attack: Meddlesome Rabbits
With the power of magical ventriloquism (sort of) to make it seem like she is where she's not, Lepus tricks a single opponent into looking behind them, where she has created a decoy Lepus, tricking them into attacking the fake. After a few hits, or after thirty seconds have passed (if not attacked), the fake Lepus 'dissolves' into a bunch of bunnies, who swarm her target before disappearing, leaving her opponents temporarily too confused to take any action, while the real Lepus delivers a sneak attack from behind in the meantime. This can only be used once.
Rabbits were considered a sacred animal on Lepus (the homeworld). It has been said that the very first Sailor Lepus was a rabbit that had been shown favor by the gods, after helping to save the world from a foreign threat, and granted a human form in return. By the time of the Silver Millennium, though historians often argued as to how true the legend was, and whether they had perhaps had mistaken what they believed to be the first Sailor Lepus with a senshi from a nearby world that they regularly did trade with, due to the lapin-like features their inhabitants had. Despite this, potential candidates for the role of Sailor Lepus were chosen based on what purists believed to be the resemblance to the original, a humanoid with reddish pink hair and violet eyes; gender did not matter, as Lepusians believed that the soul could reincarnate into any worthy individual, and thus would scout out children of age that met the requirements. Although the first Lepus' appearance was a subject of much debate, most, if not all children whose starseeds showed the most potential for being the next Sailor Lepus historically matched that description, and thus the tradition remained intact.
The role of Sailor Lepus was not only that of the constellation's protector, but as of the time of the Silver Millennium, also that of the caretaker of an island shrine where the rabbits of Lepus lived in peace, free from any predators or anyone else who may wish to cause harm to them. As a major religious figure and head of state, Lepus would be also be involved in yearly spring festivals, offering their blessings for both healthy plant growth, but also blessings of fertility for child-bearing individuals.
Pascaline, the last Sailor Lepus, was something of an eccentric girl, though she was highly devout to the teachings of the temple, when she wasn't sneaking off to avoid attending morning mass, or scaring off offworld ambassadors. The daughter of Annabelle, the last Sailor Eriphyla, and a botanist from Lepus with whom Anabelle had a passing fling with, Pascaline was born offworld, but when the call for children born to families throughout the constellation- ones with pink hair and violet eyes- came, Anabelle sent her to attend the selection process all the same, where she was scouted by Etoile's predecessor as the one whose starseed had the most potential.
While some worlds' cultures handled things differently, Anabelle had no problems with handing over Pascaline to the orthodoxy to be raised, since juggling motherhood with senshi duties was kinda difficult, anyway, and tradition was tradition, so she viewed this as something to be proud of (and she occasionally would drop by and visit her daughter from time to time at first). Although Pascaline was (purportedly) the reincarnation of a major religious figure in her world's mythos, and the equivalent of perhaps a high priestess, or even a pope*, Pascaline generally was treated no differently by the priestesses than they would a fledgling acolyte, her personality being hard to deal with. Essentially, her role was ceremonial more than anything official, and she was a figurehead more than anything else.
Previously, the past senshi of Lepus had powers related more to the symbolism of the rabbit, or perhaps also a rabbit's more defining physical qualities. Pascaline, the last Sailor Lepus before the fall of the Silver Millennium, had powers most unusual, related to Earthen mythos of rabbits being tricksters.
*Technically, Pacaline would been less equivalent to a RL pope, as much as a fantasy priestess/pope, such as the Vestals from Bravely Default, the Fon Master from Tales of the Abyss, the Holy Maiden from Ar Tonelico, and so forth.
