Those were the words Etoile had told her, and those were the words she chose to ignore. Lepus- now Super Chibi Lepus- had been pointedly avoiding the Castor Squire ever since the incident with the mirror wraith at the park. Etoile had initially sided with Lepus, because she always took Lepus' side, or at least usually did... or took the side of whoever was offering the most sweets. As time went on, though, Etoile had tried reasoning with Lepus, that Anakeion hadn't meant to hurt them, but Lepus was a stubborn person set in her ways, and had continued to avoid her, both in powered and non-powered life.
(She was very good at finding excuses not to be home if Amaris tried to visit.)
Eventually, though, Anakeion had managed to win the tiny Mauvian over, whether through bribery, threats, or enough begging and pleading, and Etoile had betrayed Lepus' wherabouts, much to the younger girl's chagrin. Standing atop the jungle gym in the playground at Knightside, Lepus stared down at Anakeion, frowning.
"I told her not to tell you anything," she said, feeling rather betrayed by her furry companion. Unsurprisingly, Etoile was nowhere in sight; Lepus was definitely not going to be giving her extra treats that night.
