Alphubel, Knight of Polaris and Eternal Larissa

Both had shielded their eyes before they had been transported, and for the moment that they were moving had grasped each other's hand. When they had come to Larissa gasped as Alphubel took a moment to look at where they were. They heard the "appointment" that had been set up and Alphubel looked towards the console. "Wonder if that's just because we came here." He muttered as they both moved up.

The healing that Larissa had done had helped quite a bit with the burns, however Alphubel was still going to feel very sore afterwards. He turned to her. "I'll be requiring some time to go to my Wonder. I think we both need to visit our Wonder and Homeworld respectively." Larissa answered with a nod. "Yes... I've only gone once, but now I feel I need to go again." She sighed and leaned on him as they sat down, waiting for the appointment with whomever had brought them here.

Squire Sumner

It took much longer for him to open his eyes and he missed whatever the console said. He got up groggily from being knocked out and took another few minutes to get his bearings. He had been stabbed, he could tell from the stab wound he had in his back though it didn't hurt as much now. It would hurt a lot later however. And then he had been kicked. And everything else was a blur. But they must have gotten the generators down at least if everyone was here, even those that had had been knocked out.

He slumped to the ground again and closed his eyes. He didn't know what had gone on in the battlefield, but he knew he wanted to visit his Wonder as soon as possible. Earth was... not somewhere he wanted to be for at least a day. Perhaps being here would be able to soothe his mind about the planet. Or maybe he would just go into shock later.

Silistra Page of Saturn

Silistra blinked as she felt like she was floating and then was suddenly teleported to the moon kingdom Celestial Theatre, she knew nothing about it and she didn't remember any of her past life memories as of yet. So her eyes were wide as she stood there turning around taking in the wonder that was this strange place. She tilted her head to the side when the center council said that they were meeting a queen. She wondered what queen that might be. Then again looking around she thought it might be an old message, like something out of StarWars recorded and lost for a long time.

Lacaille senshi of books

Lacaille had no idea what was going on or where she was but once they arrived she was curious and started looking about the room exploring everything she could reach. She was loving this, it was a new experience and clearly, the battle was over no nega soldiers in view they were finally safe at least for now. She frowned when the thing said a meeting with a queen. "Meeting with a queen?" She said out loud curious as to what was going on. "Who scheduled a meeting with a queen?" She made a thoughtful sound and then waited to see if anyone would answer her.

Senshi Vela senshi of bonfires

Vela lay on the floor when they were teleported to the Celestial Theatre, she did not wake up when they arrived. She lay there newly purified and very tired after being attacked so many times and having her starseed shadows burned away with the light of the princess's power. She had had a very trying day and her body just wasn't ready to function as of yet. Her dress had turned white with orange, red, and yellow flame details that reflexed her bonfire sphere. Her hair was now much shorter than it once was since she was no longer corrupted.

Empyrean, Page of Jupiter

Empyrean regained consciousness in unfamiliar surroundings.

His first order of business was to look for Paradise, who, as luck would have it, was also regaining consciousness beside him. He helped steady her, keeping an arm around her as they both got their bearings and took stock of the room they were in.

His second order of business was to look for his children, who he saw scattered among the crowd — whole, but injured in the case of Oberon and Sessrumnir. Empyrean tightened his arm around his wife so she wouldn’t immediately go to fuss over them. They were adults. They probably wouldn’t appreciate their mother fussing over them around their magical friends.

His third order of business was to study their surroundings more closely. Wherever they were was old and decrepit, though Empyrean could still see some of the beauty the architecture must have once displayed. Based on what they’d learned from Oberon and Ganymede, Empyrean would guess they were on the Moon.

It helped that he overheard some people mention as much. Still, if he’d had to guess…

Empyrean was dimly aware that he should ache from injuries. The fact that he didn’t seemed unimportant. Beneficial, certainly, but nothing to concern himself with until his injuries made themselves known again.

“Watch your step,” he warned his wife in case she decided to wander.

Palatine, Squire of Venus

Palatine was unsurprised when they appeared on the moon, because of course they did.

“Would’ve been nice to be summoned here sooner,” she muttered.

She wasn’t aware of the hows or the whys of it, and to be honest, she didn’t really care. Over the years, Palatine decided it was easier to go with the flow than to ask too many questions, but then she’d never been the best knight. Squire. Whatever.

Varuna and Constantinople were, thankfully, still with her. Palatine gave them both a quick glance over to assess any injuries they might have gained in the initial blast, but they both seemed to be in one piece.

“Remind me to ignore the next alien message that comes through,” she told Varuna.

She didn’t mean it, of course, but… it sure would be nice to feel less obligated sometimes.

It’d be nice to go back to blissful ignorance, actually, but that wasn’t going to happen.

Assured that her niece and the very pink, very chipper Page of Chronos were in good health, Palatine looked through the crowd for her usual allies. She saw Ganymede with Valhalla, but knew better than to embarrass her adult daughter with her presence. She noticed Sessrumnir next, talking to what looked like another dude beholden to Jupiter. Palatine tried to catch Sessrumnir’s eye but didn’t want to interrupt what seemed to be heartfelt mumbling.

The Console in the center of the room didn’t seem perturbed by Scylla’s exasperation.

“Arrival confirmed,” it said, as if that was an answer to anything she’d said. It chimed pleasantly afterwards, almost musically. A loading screen appeared, but again seemed to stall upon loading.

The automated voice spoke, but it was something of a whisper, and sounded like a failing system. When the voice returned at an audible level, it was already addressing Castor: “No medical professionals currently available. Please try again later. If you like, you can fill out a form. I can transmit it to our healers. They can see you at their earliest convenience. Is the affliction contagious?”

A form appeared on the screen; it seemed like it could have been filled out with the touch screen, but the letters were completely unrecognizable and impossible to decipher.

The Code piece recoiled just a bit when Vígríðr came close, and it shifted to avoid the encroaching hand. “Gods? You give them too much credit. I don’t know you, don’t stick your hand near me.”

To Andronicus, the Code piece answered, “What pieces on Archideus? I haven’t heard of such a place. Is that what I’ve just felt?”

It stirred, and swam; it looked brighter than it had a few weeks ago, bigger. Warmer.

“Why do you look so sad about it?”

“And you.” Its attention shifted to the other Uranus Knight. “Do you really not know the Code? How does a Page know but not a Knight.” The Code paused and it seemed like it was looking through Saqqara. It seemed exasperated, and then indignant, and then accepting. “Oh.”

When Caedus registered that there were people around him--several people--he drew into himself. His hand reached for a cloak that didn’t exist. He had nothing to shroud himself in, nothing to disappear into. The room was empty and open, and the only way out seemed to have people there already.

He was trapped.

Which, shouldn’t have been alarming; there were people close to him, trying to reassure him. Trying to help him. He felt energy dancing on his skin and seemed now, more than ever, afraid to touch them.

He’d seen Oberon’s hands, no matter how he tried to hide them. Even if it wasn’t from dealing with him, they were obviously fresh. So many of them were injured. He looked at him for a second when he asked if he was okay, but Caedus didn’t really know how to answer that, so he hadn’t tried to. When Lixian asked, it was the same; he curled his fingers close and looked at him apologetically, like he hoped he knew that he was sorry. He didn’t take his hand out of concern for hurting him, not because he was ungrateful.

Hyperborea seemed so loud next to him, but then--everything did. She was using magic, near him, after seeing what he had inside of him. She had called people closer--smart, when her efforts were to heal, but he didn’t want to be surrounded. Shakily, he had tried to push himself away a bit, but the effort failed and he didn’t seem to have the strength to really get anywhere.

He looked visibly drained, but he saw the stone Pendour offered, he shook his head. He looked tired. He saw her fingers. He looked at her apologetically. There was guilt.

So much guilt.

She said he didn’t deserve it, but looking at the rest of them, he wasn’t so sure.

He was holding himself together, albeit barely. His brows were knitted together and his lips remained pressed tightly, but it seemed like every muscle trembled, from his face to his fingers. He didn’t trust his legs to stand, he didn’t trust himself to do anything.

He wanted to ask what happened, but he didn’t want to know.

Things were vague and shrouded in his mind, and he inhaled sharply when Vaylin was so quick to lay all the blame on Lyndin. He looked at her with mild horror but couldn’t articulate something to say about it.

Instead, he reached up a trembling hand to rest over his chest. It didn’t hurt as much as he thought it should when he touched it; he could feel pain radiating from it, but the skin wasn’t sensitive.

His chest hadn’t actually been split open.

It just felt like it.

Encke’s words shook him from whatever hole his mind was slipping through; he didn’t trust himself to speak, so he shook his head. They’d done enough, hadn’t they?

He’d done enough to them, certainly. This was wrong. Again.

He almost flinched at Scylla’s hands on his cheek, and he looked at her from the corner of his eye when she mentioned Velencians. He looked through the crowd for them, for more of them. He almost shook his head again--why would they want to see him?

He did want to see their faces, to know who was safe.

He was out of place among them, he had been since he returned. He was out of place among the Senshi and Knights.

Oberon had told him to breathe, so he did. He felt like an old machine, rattling, and barely clinging to life or function.

His mouth was dry and he was so cold. Standing, he was tall. Here, like this, he felt very small.

The gravity of everything hadn’t yet set in, but when it did he knew it was going to be bad. They hadn’t succeeded, and people had gotten hurt. He knew that much, and the severity of everything else was slowly chipping away at the walls he’d put up to protect himself from the reality of this. When he spoke, it was little more than a gravelly whisper.

“I am sorry.”

Vígríðr, Page of Jupiter

The page continued to walk around the enshrined fragment of the Code, holding a thoughtful pose with a hand propped at his chin and stroking his beard as he tilted his head to get a better view. It certainly didn't look like much, but the power thrumming within was palpable. His forefather had touched upon the shard housed within Vígríðr itself when explaining his descendant's new responsibilities and latent talents, but hadn't yet gone in-depth as to what the Code actually did. From what little the man did know, it was the highest law and scripture by which the knights of all planets strove to abide.

Imagine his surprise when it spoke to him and moved about, blaspheming the gods and acting as though his curiosity toward what he'd assumed was an inanimate object was something dirty. The thoughtful hand stroking his beard turned into an accusatory point at the indignant fragment.

"To be fair, I have not actually touched you," Vígríðr highlighted. "Nor did I know you were alive. I was told to live by the Code, not that the Code itself lived. You are... not what I was expecting."

The modern-day Viking's attentions were not lax during his retort, and he quickly looked up to the doorway as others were drawn into the small room. Maybe they too had not known anyone else in the antechamber. Not that crowds were a problem for someone as boisterous as Vígríðr, but perhaps the aftermath of a tense and losing battle with severe injuries wasn't the best time to go pestering strangers. Maybe they had felt the Code's aura?

Guessing by their garb, they certainly seemed the sort. Both looked to be knights of a higher echelon than himself. The first woman walked in, straight to the tablet and began speaking to it in a melancholy tone. Something about pieces being returned? Was this the original Code that was split amongst the wonders throughout the universe?

The next female knight seemed much more battered, dragging bloody feet and leaving a blackened trail along the light stone of their environs. She seemed rather out of it, slumping near the pedestal and staring blankly back into the hallway from which they'd all entered the room. She did manage to question the code. Strange, since she seemed to have progressed farther on the path than the page himself.

Now that he looked more closely at her, she seemed very familiar. Hadn't she been on her knees screaming near the console while he'd been pummeling it? That seemed right, but he couldn't be sure. Either way she was in bad shape.

"I know not the intricacies of this artifact, not yet," Vígríðr responded, looking back to the Code and Andronicus as he knelt near Saqqara and removed his tunic. "Although our fellow knight here may have more answers. My training has just begun, but take heart friend!"

He gave his most winning smile, teeth gleaming in the suffused light.

"We have found solace and sanctuary for the time being, and await our meeting with royalty."

As he conversed, he tore his tunic into wide strips and began to wrap them as makeshift bandages around Saqqara's most obvious injuries, starting with her feet (assuming she didn't shove him away, of course). He certainly wasn't a medic, but every little bit helped. As he worked, he looked up toward Andronicus.

"This Code... it is the original? It bespeaks a power much more potent than the shard at my wonder. My ancestor speaks of it, but my lessons are far from complete. He also neglected to mention it would be quite so," the page spared a glance toward the object in question, "sassy."

Chibi Sailor Aomori

Aomori couldn’t believe her eyes. At first, she thought she and Hokkaido and whoever else was on their side were going to endure far more peril and all sorts of further terrors both literal and nightmarish… but then at a split second, they were now at a place that’s hardly hostile. If anything, it felt incredibly calm, tranquil, and peaceful. It was like she entered into the next stage of a dream filled with marshmallow delights and so much more. A part of her yearned for the sweet peaceful calm release dreams had, the kind where she would drift to sleep whenever house parties were drawn much longer than her little body could readily comprehend. It was comforting and sweet and gentle... ah... it has been a while since she experienced that. Now that she has outgrown that, she has discovered much more these days in her waking moments such as taking fun strolls at the park, bug catching, catching falling stars, and more.

What wasn’t the most peaceful thing in the world to experience however was the weight of the world against her. The faint warmth that was threatening to swallow her whole and simultaneously vanish at the same time. Now, that wasn't nearly as nice. If Aomori could bargain with the forces of the world, she would wish to not experience that ever again. After all, she was held close by someone she cared tremendously for, someone whom she awakened at the same time with. And, it was someone whom she spent her brief life growing up with. It was none other than her twin, one that went by the eponymous name of Hokkaido. Hokkaido clinging to her body as if the both of them were gonna get zapped into smithereens any second. Now that sort of prospect was honestly horrible, terrible, and beyond redemption. How could the wheels of fate place them in such a situation or place? Why did it have to involve both of them, both chibi Senshi who awoke to the forces that be of the Order not too long ago? How fair was that? Some sort of refund is in order.. or a rollback, was it?

Regardless of her pacing thoughts, it appears that sort of thing wouldn't be necessary after all, for several reasons previously stated and more. At long last, Aomori finally uttered something. It would be good to encourage the other to loosen up and react accordingly.

“I really.. really... don’t know where we are… but it seems that we’re at a completely different place now… a place that feels super duper safe, Hokkaido. The good news is that it looks like we’re both in one piece,” Aomori smiled and laughed a bit in relief while she attempted to scan her immediate surroundings It appears that other bodies not unlike themselves, both around their stage and above, have joined them. Just what in the world is going on?

To look for answers, Aomori decided that it may be best to scan the area for any familiar faces such as Charybdis or even her masterful mentor Lepus.

Princess Ganymede

Ganymede could not reassure anyone, and the continued concern from her allies, while not unwelcome, touched at her guilt.

They should not be concerned for her. They should be concerned for themselves, and for those they’d lost.

She couldn’t even manage a smile for Agrippa, simply looked at her, studied her, took in what injuries she suffered, then did the same for Tikal.

To Erebus, she shook her head. For a moment, her heart ached to see him alone. Her thoughts immediately went to Venice, but perhaps Venice was safe and well; perhaps he hadn’t attended the battle that night. If something had happened to him, surely Erebus would be more distraught.

“Thank you,” she said, swallowing through the emotion until her voice remained steady, “but don’t worry about me. I can recover on Ganymede later if I need to. Cybele, Agrippa, and Tikal need it more. They all—”

Ganymede cut herself off, momentarily overwhelmed.

They all joined her. They looked to her for guidance. They fought when she asked them to.

Even though she stressed to them that they were under no obligation to follow her, that their decisions were their own, she couldn’t help but feel responsible for them.

“They all fought bravely and could use the energy more than me,” Ganymede said when she found her voice again.

What little she needed to get through their time on the Moon, she could receive from Valhalla. She leaned against him, needing the reassurance offered by his presence. Then she looked at him, checked him for injuries, too.

All the while, Ganymede was dimly aware of the useless console giving its answers and the piece of the Code down the hall, but she didn’t know that either of them could give her the answers she wanted.

Only Caedus and Lyndin could do that, but Caedus was in no state for long stories, and Lyndin was inaccessible.

Eternal Sailor Oberon

Oberon looked up as Hyperborea approached with her summon magic and muttered a quiet word of thanks, but he kept the majority of his attention on Caedus and any threats. Even on the Moon, among allies, there were those who thought themselves justified in thinking that Caedus should have died. Maybe others would have given up their lives, but Caedus had already decided to live. Oberon knew that was why he’d managed to survive so long in the Rift, and he wasn’t going to let that end so quickly now that Caedus had a chance at freedom.

When Pendour joined him on the ground, he reached his arm around her back, holding onto her for added support. He gave her a gentle squeeze of reassurance, although he kept his fingers from curling into his palm. His hands and arms ached, and only so much could be covered by his jacket and barely-there gloves. He wanted to check her over, to make sure she was really okay. But he needed to probably keep himself alert in case anyone tried to attack Caedus, or give him grief.

To the aliens that approached (Lixian and Vaylin), Oberon lifted a tired hand to greet them and the others who might have heard Scylla calling to them (Aeleas, Neryn, Valnyr), but immediately regretted it because it was probably a gruesome sight that they didn’t need to see.

“Oberon,” he gestured tiredly to himself. “Pendour,” he introduced the Neptune Squire next. “Scylla, Encke, Hyperborea.” With people yelling names across the field, it was easy to pick up on some of them. Such as Bellatrix and Nephthys talking to Scylla. “We’re friends of Caedus, so if you need anything,” he said, trailing off with another regrettable wave of his hand and then lowered it to his pants to dab off any of the still wet blood.

Now that there wasn’t a need for desperation, Oberon could take the moment to try and breathe. But he was still keeping an eye out for anyone who might think they could try and attack or harass.

And it already looked like Caedus needed some extra space. “It happens,” Oberon said with a shrug of his shoulders in response to Caedus’ apology. There were always going to be fights against the Negaverse, always going to be injuries and death. All they could do was do their best.

He figured others would be mad at Caedus. Maybe he should have said something about his starseed from the beginning. Maybe Caedus should have known more. But what was in the past was in the past. They had Caedus alive and they could move forward from that. If he was dead, there would have been no going back.

“I didn’t know you were supposed to be a Senshi,” Oberon said after a moment, more curious than anything. “You’re probably lucky you can’t access those powers. If you were in the Rift all that time… I mean, I haven’t been into the Rift, but youma tend to go after Senshi no matter what side they’re on.”

It had only taken several weeks of trading energy for information with a half-youma to get information about the Rift, and while he thought it was useless at the time (and they probably thought it was useless as well), it was conveniently relevant now.

“Do you know why your starseed is like that?” Hey, he was a scientist. He wanted to know these things. “You don’t have to answer if you just want to rest. I think they’re trying to figure out the Moon computer over there, and something with the Code in the other room. I. D. K. it’s knight stuff.”

Valhalla, Transcended Knight of Jupiter

Valhalla did his best to comfort his wife, keeping his arm around her as she leaned against him. He couldn’t bring himself to smile at the others who approached her, but he nodded to them. “Thank you, Erebus,” he said quietly, nodding in agreement to Ganymede’s suggestion about helping the others who had been injured worse. Agrippa and Cybele. And Tikal who had worked so hard to help them. Kerberos too.

As a Knight, he was drawn to the Code, and since Ganymede seemed unsure of what she wanted to do, he gently led her down the hall towards the room where the others already started to gather.

“That’s the Code piece we found when Caedus helped us invade Negaspace, I think,” Valhalla said quietly as he approached the room with Ganymede. He nodded to the other Jupiter knight (Vígríðr) that was already there and inspecting it. “From the original Knight Academy. There’s another piece of the Code at Olympus on Mars,” he shared.

It felt like it had been ages ago since he’d first been there. And probably because it had been years.

“Knights are sworn to protect our Wonders and the Code. It observes the balance of everything which--... is heavily Chaos. At least that’s what the piece at Olympus told us Knights years ago,” he explained. "I doubt things have gotten much better since then."

He offered Saqqara a small smile of sympathy when the Code seemed to realize she hadn’t been a Knight for very long.

Sessrumnir, Knight of Jupiter

There was a bit of tension that released from his own shoulders when it seemed as though Belmont was okay, and that he didn’t resent him too much. The explosion was what he’d expected, and if they hadn’t arrived on the moon, well… there was no telling how many of them wouldn’t have made it out alive.

Still, he knew he probably could have been a bit nicer about shoving Belmont away.

“My arm will be fine,” he promised, glancing down at it. He didn’t know how things would be once they left the Moon, but it seemed like it was in okay shape for now.

He glanced over his shoulder to the gathering of people and aliens around Caedus and he shook his head. “I doubt he’s okay, but there’s only so much we can do for him right now. Figure out what the next plans are. Probably find a place for him and the other aliens to stay, since it looks like they didn’t want to go with Lyndin.”

His eyes wandered once more to the Code in the other room, and gestured for Belmont to start walking that way. If anything, it would give Caedus a little more space.

He caught sight of Palatine for a moment, and let out a small sigh of distress. He didn’t think she would be there, but he was glad she was okay. He jerked his head in the direction of the Code if she felt the desire to follow.

Paradise, Page of Cosmos

Paradise opened her eyes, and immediately stared up at the ceiling and around them, gasping at how beautiful everything was. Had they died and this was heaven? No, surely it wouldn’t be like this. All of the Senshi and Knights and Cats and some of the Aliens had joined them there. Whatever this place was, it was definitely somewhere she would like to return.

Oh! But she had her husband and children to check up on. “Darling, are you okay?” she asked, even as he was the one helping her up. This was definitely better than her book club, but obviously much more dangerous. It was good to see that everyone seemed to be doing okay, although many would need medical attention.

She of course wanted to check on her children too, but they seemed to be doing well enough, and she’d already promised not to “harass” them in front of everyone. And it seemed as though Empyrean had the same idea to let them be. So for now, she would just explore and see if she could find anything interesting.

Super Sailor Varuna

The Moon.

Varuna breathed out, both surprised and not. She was grateful to whatever cosmic force brought them there, of course. Maybe a little sooner would have been nice, as Palatine pointed out.

Everyone around them seemed to be getting their bearings. Many were injured. Many looked as though they’d seen horrible things, or experienced horrible things. She wanted to give them space as much as she wanted to reach out to some of them and see if there was anything she could do to help them.

———————————————

Connie, Page of Chronos

Connie was extremely grateful for the help the beautiful Palatine gave her! She wished she had amazing healing magic like that. Maybe one day she would be able to grow enough to be able to help others. Right now she just had her necklace, and that was okay! She would just need to spend more time learning about how to be a knight.

“Thank you for helping me before,” Connie squeaked happily up at the lovely Knight of Uranus, Saqqara, as she followed her to the room where the Code was. “I didn’t know it talks!” she gasped when it responded to the others, and she eyed it curiously around the taller Knight.

“I haven’t found mine yet,” she frowned thoughtfully. Maybe she should spend more time on her Wonder after this.

Eivissa, senshi of Icicles

Her first thoughts was she was dead. That was what happened, right? Her vision had gone white, and she felt like she was floating in something... cozy. Ah, she almost didn't want to leave this feeling.

Slowly though, the feeling, and the whiteness around her faded.

When her blue eyes opened, and she figured out she was actually standing on her own two feet, Eivissa started getting the focus back to herself. All around her was white. Where.... where was she? It was a beautiful place, wherever they were, and she got the distinct feeling they weren't on earth. They would have learned about something this beautiful right? It almost took her breath away, even if it was in shambles. What was still there was pretty.

Her eyes fell to the pedestal in the middle of the room and hesitation flooded her. Her hands went to her skirt, tugging on it uneasily.

Wait, she'd been with someone...

Whipping her head around, Eivissa scanned the crowd of people that were here until she found Lich. Not too far from her, and she sagged.

"Hey," she called out, putting a hand on his shoulder. He'd gotten hit quite a bit. "Are you alright? Do you need help?"

She knew the gathering around Caedus, but she didn't go. Honestly she barely knew the reason she had joined the call to arms, other than that they needed help. This was a war, and her duty now. Was he on their side?

She'd seen his starseed in someone else's hands, and now it was back with him, it seemed. He was so intimidating, even if he was seeming to have something of a break down.

"Lich," she whispered softly. "Do you know ....what happened? Who he is? Where we are?"

At Aomori’s insistence that they were safe, Hokkaido slowly released her death grip on her twin, if only a little bit. She most certainly didn’t trust Aomori not to go wandering off if she let go, leaving her alone again, and when she realized that her sister was looking for familiar faces, she nudged her twin with an elbow, pointing out Lepus, who was nearby, coming straight for them.

For once, she was actually relieved to see Lepus come for them.

Eternal Sailor Lepus

Lepus gave the twins a little wave, and then handed Etoile off to Hokkaido; there had been an awful lot of playing ‘hot potato’ with the little kitten these past few hours, but she did figure that Hokkaido would at least appreciate having something small and furry to hold close. Also, it would get her to let go of Aomori, who didn’t seem to wish to be clung to do tightly now that the danger had seemingly passed.

“Hey guys, it’s great to see you both in one piece,” she told them, “We gotta figure out what to tell your parents, or what not to tell them- I’m not that great at coming up with alibis for other folks- but in the meantime… can you guys, like, stick around here? Don’t go too far? Buddy system or whatever- keep an eye on Etoi for me, I gotta find someone else we were with.”

And then she was off, looking for the Leporis twins. In the midst of the chaos, she’d lost sight of them, as she was following after Charybdis and the twins. Now that they were supposedly all gathered here, it was probably a good idea to find the other set of twin senshi she was acquainted with.

Except, well, she only managed to find one of them.

“Beta?? Where’s Alpha?”

Chibi ETERNAL Charybdis

Her brother did not respond. Charybdis froze. "Hey." she said a lot louder. A little angrier. Her foot poked a little rougher at his side.

"If you don't wake up I'm going to buy Hope some of those iced sugar cookies from Walmart, and I'm going to tell her that's what your cookies tasted like when she grows up asking about her dad."
