Recently it seems like a strange sort of infestation has overtaken Destiny City: small, white rabbits that are rarely larger than a guinea pig have appeared. They are always pure white, with large eyes and wiggling noses. They are cute and apparently social, however when you least expect it they often bite. It's enough to break skin, but after one bite they run away. The injuries are no big deal--it's the after effects you have to watch out for. These bunnies are too skittish and fast to be kept for pets, but they are considered dangerous--especially for children and small animals! If you see one, what do you do? Call animal control? Attack it? Run away? Just be careful! If you get bitten, the next few days are going to be uncomfortable...
One evening out on patrol, Sailor Sinope noticed an army of furry white mounds moving about in the snow. He stopped to examine them more closely and was shocked to discover that they appeared to be rabbits. Small, large-eyed, furry mammals with wiggling noses that gave Sinope the creeps. They were everywhere.
Was someone planning to take over the city with these things? They seemed harmless enough, but the Dark Mirror Senshi didn't dare get close enough to find out what they could do. He knew better than to underestimate seemingly harmless things, especially in this city. Glancing about, he tried to discern where they had come from. There were so many that it seemed hard to pinpoint a particular place, but perhaps if they had been summoned or brought here by something or someone, he could find that out instead.

As the senshi of rabbits, Chibi Lepus was both offended and fascinated by all the wild bunnies running around the city. On one hand, why couldn't she have gotten a cool power like this? (Not that watching youma run into walls chasing after a fake Lepus wasn't fun) On the other...
Well, it was fun to watch them hop about, though she didn't dare get too close. They seemed friendly enough, sure, but you never knew ... and also technically, she wasn't allowed to have any pets- Etoile was decently easy enough to keep a secret, but Etoile lived in Lepus' dollhouse and feasted on candy; Lepus was pretty sure she couldn't do that with a rabbit.
So, instead, she chose to trail behind them for now, a senshi of bunnies following bunnies, hoping to maybe figure out where they were coming from or who might have called them here. In retrospect, it probably just made her look suspicious and possibly compliant in all of this, but then again, Lepus wasn't really one to think about such things...
There! A White Moon senshi with fur trim and rabbit ears on her hat was walking around after a bunch of the little abominations. Sinope scratched his head; he hadn't expected the perpetrator to have an Order signature. Even weirder was the fact that she seemed so young. Did she even know what she was doing?
Okay, maybe not that young, but not a teenager yet. That didn't mean she wasn't old enough to have a plan, though. Even Order senshi could have suspicious intentions, right? Whatever the case, Sinope wanted her to call off her monsters as soon as possible. Their mere presence and numbers were giving him the creeps.
"Hey, you!" He called, staying where he was. He dared not approach lest she send her army to attack and swarm him. "What do you think you're doing with all these rabbits?"

"Um, following them?" Wasn't that obvious? Or, did he mean that another way? Lepus didn't know what his problem was, but...
Wait, what? Come to think of it, aside from this guy being a little weird looking, there was something about him that came off as unfamiliar to Lepus, who was only familiar with other White Moon senshi. Oh, if only Etoile was here; the chibi hoped that if this guy was here to cause trouble, that the little cat could be torn away from her Spanish soap operas long enough to come to the rescue.
"...Huh?" Leading them, maybe, Sinope could understand. But following them? Had she asked them to sniff something out for her or find a way to get to something specific? Why would she need so many, then, though?
And then she was asking him if the rabbits were his.
"What?!" he exclaimed, incredulous. "Dude, you're the one with the rabbit ears and the Alice in Wonderland getup. Why would they be mine? Are you trying to live out Alice's story or something?" It would explain why she had been following the white rabbits, but there were far too many to follow, especially when they didn't seem like they had any particular destination in mind.
Maybe he was mistaken somehow. "...Aren't you a White Moon senshi?"

"I guess? I'm not, like, up to date on all the cool lingo everyone uses," Lepus said with a shrug. White Moon senshi, though? Sounded like something out of a comic book, or what you'd name your Rock Band band.
"Anyways, I was following them because I wanted to see where they were going; sadly, they're not mine, though that would have been pretty cool..."
(Chibi Senshi of Rabbits having the power to summon an army of rabbits? She could only dream.)
"So, uh, they're not yours, and they're not mine, so whose are they? And where did they come from? I dunno about you, but I'm really wanting to find out."
Sinope stared at the girl. He’d come across other senshi who didn’t know what the Dark Moon Court was, but not being aware of their own court? Oh boy… He ran his hand through his hair, wondering where to start. “How long have you...had powers? You know, like to change into what you’re wearing now?”
He mentally questioned if the girl was just an innocent civilian with an elaborate costume, but with her energy signature so loud and clear, he knew that theory was busted. Also, her phrase, ‘all the cool lingo everyone uses’ suggested that she had at least some idea of what he was talking about or at least knew other people who did.
The teenage DMS was skeptical about how much the younger senshi really knew. He tried to avoid underestimating his opponents no matter how ignorant they seemed. What if she was just playing dumb? Even if she wasn’t, she was acting far too trusting of someone with a chaos signature. He appreciated that she didn’t automatically assume he was an enemy, but she didn’t even seem the least bit wary of him. Was it because she was just too innocent? Did she even know the difference between chaotic signatures and order ones? She was lucky he wasn’t with the Negaverse.
Maybe it would be helpful to make her a little more cautious, though. Scaring her a bit might do the trick. It was for her own good, ultimately, and even if she got mad at him for it, it wasn’t as if his magic was actually harmful to others.
“I’d like to find out, too,” he said, meeting her gaze with a mischevious grin. “Sly Secret Steal.”

Sly Secret Steal: Sinope locks eyes with his target on the battlefield and casts them a knowing grin.
Causes the target to be seized by the unshakable feeling that Sinope knows something about them they really don't want him to know (whether or not he actually knows it)
The player of the target can interpret as they see fit what their character thinks Sinope knows. Sinope does not necessarily know whatever it is, but his attack causes his target to think he does, which serves as an unnerving distraction during battle.

"Uhh, a few years?" Lepus said, unsure what Sinope was getting at; truth be told, she used her powered life as an excuse to do rebellious preteen things like staying out late and exploring abandoned houses together with Etoile. She was fairly ignorant of the different factions and their names- simply that there were 'good guys' (which she was!) and the bad guys (which the youma were), and until now, that had suited her just fine.
It was when he called out an attack that all bets were off, and Lepus realized things were getting serious. While she had expected (and braced for) some sort of magical or physical attack, Sinope was staring at her instead, in a way that made her feel rather unnerved; he... knew something? But what?
(He didn't know that she still collected plush rabbits, did he? Because Lepus was going to have to start taking names if so.)
"Hey! That was... like, really uncalled for?" she shouted, already planning payback. Now if she could just distract him long enough to direct his attention to somewhere that wasn't on her...
“Uh, yeah,” Sinope answered, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. “If you’ve really been around for years, you should know the name of your own court. Unless you’re lying. I’ve only been around for a few months myself, but I already know better than to just go around chasing random rabbits and talking up strangers.” He paused. “Okay, maybe not the latter part, but still. I’m on my guard.”
Raising his index finger to wag at her, he continued, “With how long you must have been a senshi, either you know more than you’re letting on, or you’re waaaay too trusting of people who don’t have Order signatures.” Sinope moved that same finger to tap the side of his head. “That’s why it’s up to me to make sure you’re not hiding anything. Hence the ‘secret steal’.”
He shifted his weight to his other foot in something of a pose, feeling somewhat cocky. “Either that, or to teach you to be more wary of Chaos signatures because you never know what they might have up their sleeve.”

"I know that there's good guys and bad guys, but I didn't know we had names," Lepus countered, clearly offended. She had made a mistake, yes, but that didn't mean she needed to be lectured over it!
"And besides, you're the one that started it by accusing me of like, summoning them or whatever!" she continued, though it wasn't really relevant to the conversation at hand anymore. Point was, Lepus wasn't willing to take the fall for her lack of caution, and the fact that Sinope had tried to 'steal' a secret was completely unforgivable.
"Anyway, you should be more careful, too, you know! Look over there! I think those rabbits are up to something," Lepus suddenly said, pointing behind Sinope. It was time for payback.

Over there!
Lepus tricks an opponent into feeling compelled to go chasing after what they believe to be Chibi Lepus running away from them. Once they get close enough (3-5 feet, within reaching distance), 'Chibi Lepus' turns out to be a fake, an illusionary white rabbit that promptly poofs away. This does not work from a short range- Lepus must put some distance between herself and the opponent, and relies on them not seeing Lepus while they're being tricked. It lasts for twenty seconds, and she can only use this once.
The Dark Mirror Senshi closed his eyes and rubbed his temples with a pained look. "No, they're not simply divided into good guys and bad guys, which is why you have to know their names! Just because people are with the White Moon doesn't automatically make them 'good' and just because someone may be with the Negaverse doesn't mean they're 'bad'. And the Dark Mirror Court are their own thing altogether, so you can't just lump us with one side or the other!"
He opened his eyes again and cast her another irked look. "Yeah, I started it because unlike you, I don't automatically assume that all Order signatures belong to 'good guys', so I thought I'd investigate before making the judgement. Can you blame me with how suspicious you look? Just what are you the senshi of, anyway?"
Before he could get an answer out of her, though, the chibi senshi was mentioning the rabbits being up to something and pointing beyond him, causing him to automatically turn to see. "What the...wait, where are you going? How'd you get over there so fast?"
Suddenly she was running away and Sinope felt the inescapable urge to go after her like a dog after a cat. He hurried to pursue, wondering what she was running from him for. Maybe because he was supposedly a 'bad guy' due to his Chaos signature. "I didn't mean any harm! I was just trying to make a point!"

If the 'fake' Lepus was capable of expressing emotion, it would have turned to Sinope and stuck its tongue out at the Dark Mirror senshi. Instead, it continued to run away from Sinope, as was its purpose, to divert attention away from the real deal, at least until Sinope got close enough, at which point it would turn back into a rabbit.
That didn't stop the real Lepus from sticking out her tongue at Sinope, though, even though he was a little preoccupied at the moment, and couldn't see her.
And wasn't facing her.
And was unaware that he wasn't really chasing after Lepus.
"Take that!" she called, feeling particularly smug about getting payback, "That'll teach you to try stealing secrets and accuse me of things!"

Just when the Dark Mirror Senshi thought he had caught up to Lepus, she transformed into a rabbit.
"What the - ?!"
And if that wasn't weird enough, the rabbit poofed shortly after. Just like the ones that had attacked him as a civilian when he'd tried to fight them off.
"Take that!"
Hearing the voice come from behind him, he gaped at the original chibi senshi standing right where she'd been from the start.
"That'll teach you to try stealing secrets and accuse me of things!"
Sinope blinked and then laughed. He began to walk back toward her with his palms raised in surrender. "Alright, alright, you got me. I shouldn't have accused you of making assumptions when I made my own. It was hypocritical of me. Well-played."
Regarding her with a crooked smirk, the older redhead planted his hands at his waist. "I didn't steal any secrets, though. My power just makes people think I know things even if I don't really. Just like you seemed like you had the power to teleport or turn into a rabbit or control other rabbits or whatever. But I guess you're really innocent, after all." He sneered. "In more ways than one. Anyway, what do you say? Are we even now?"
The male senshi held out one hand for her to shake upon agreement if she so chose.

Lepus regarded Sinope suspiciously, considering the events that had just transpired. So he was calling a truce? She had her doubts that he wasn't going to try pulling a fast one on her, but he did kind of apologize...
(Lepus supposed that if he was lying, that she could try to kick him or something.)
"Sure, we're even now, I guess," Lepus said, the tone of her voice suggesting she didn't quite trust him just yet, but she shook his hand all the same.
"Thanks," Sinope answered, and for all his antics and teasing, he meant it. "I'm Sailor Sinope, Dark Mirror Senshi of Slyness. I don't blame you for not trusting me, especially considering what I'm the senshi of and all, but I appreciate you giving me a chance. Just be careful about who you give that benefit of the doubt to, yeah?"
He smiled again; a genuine one this time, if a bit playful. "I'm a Dark Mirror Senshi, so I'm not with the Negaverse. But it's easy to confuse us with Corrupt Senshi because we both wear black and stuff, and those guys could really hurt you, so watch out. Even these funny, innocent-looking little rabbit-looking things might be working for the Negaverse. More things not to judge by their covers."
Withdrawing his hand from their handshake, he used it to stroke his chin. "I kinda wish I had a power like yours. Mine sometimes just ends up getting people mad at me and making them want to pummel me worse." He chuckled lightly at the memories. "But yours seems like something a trickster from mythology might have because it's useful for self-preservation - a.k.a. running away. That's probably one reason why rabbits are often tricksters in mythology, though."
Sinope looked around at the fluffy creatures that he was starting to suspect may have been youma of some sort. He could have tried to wipe them all out, but it would have been too much work and who knew if more would pop in their place? There were so many of them. It would be like shovelling snow, only to have it snow again, and for what? To protect civilians who didn't even care or have the sense to stay away from these monsters? No thank you. If the White Moon Senshi wanted that responsibility, they could have it, but Sinope decided he was too lazy to care. As long as they left him well alone, they didn't need to be his problem.
"Well, I don't know your name or what you're the senshi of, but I'll leave you to your, uh...companions," he told her, glancing awkwardly at the living balls of fur. They really did give him the creeps. "Hope they don't end up leading you somewhere dangerous, Miss Alice."
