Ever since that fateful encounter with Pippin, Lepus had wanted to meet more talking cats, as there surely had to be more than one out there. It didn't make sense, after all, for just one cat to be going around finding all the senshi, and Medea hadn't seemed to know him, so thus began Lepus' new goal of finding a talking cat all of her own.

As a secondary goal, the chibi senshi of rabbits was hoping to maybe try convincing one of them to come home with her. It meant letting them know her civilian identity, but it didn't seem like much of a problem to Lepus. Her mother would never approve of her bringing home a stray cat off the streets, but these talking cats weren't strays, so she figured it would be alright.

And if nothing else, she knew plenty of places to hide a cat in her room! The tricky part would be figuring out how to sneak food to them, but she'd get to that later. Firstly, she wanted to, well, find a cat. And take him or her home.

And maybe have tea parties with them. (Cats could have tea, right? Lepus wasn't allowed to use actual hot tea, but iced tea instead, so that should be okay, shouldn't it?)

Now came the tricky part- where did these cats come from, and where would she find one? As she went about her way, Lepus searched any place she thought a cat might be, hoping to find a fuzzy feline.

"Huh?"

Lepus hadn't even noticed she had stepped on Thetis' tail until the shriek and small voice caught her attention, and the little senshi looked down to find the unfortunate fuzzy black cat who she hadn't noticed before.

"I didn't mean to!" Lepus insisted, kneeling down to get a better look, "Sorry, I just didn't see you- I was looking for something, but..."

Realization.

"Hey! You're just what I'm looking for, actually," she told Thetis, "You're a, um... 'Guardian Cat', right? You can talk, anyways, so that means you're one, doesn't it?"

The fact that the cat forgave her meant that they were off to a good start, Lepus thought to herself, and as Thetis came up to rub against her legs, she reached out to pet the little cat... or at least try to.

"Rabbits!" she helpfully informed Thetis, pointing at the bunny-eared tophat she wore, "I'm Sailor Chibi Lepus- what's your name?"
