If there was anyone who'd be all over rumors of lizard people, it would, naturally, be Lepus. Having been all over the rumors of the cryptid at the reservoir a little over a year ago, as well as the rumors of the uh... possible Bigfoot? this past winter, Lepus wasn't about to pass up an opportunity for a round 2 (or 3) at her own take on Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction. The last couple of times had been kind of a disappointment, as the reservoir creature had vanished while battling a youma, and then the bigfoot footprints had... never led to anything, either. This time, though... this time was bound to be different, because third time was a charm? Well, maybe not necessarily, but Lepus was determined to prove this one as true, because if talking cats and aliens from outer space were real, why couldn't lizard people?
Etoile, Lepus' normal sidekick for outings such as these, was absent tonight, as she was spending the night over at Cinta's in a sort of sleepover, much in the same fashion as the ones she used to do with Clementine. Lepus would likely call Cinta to check in on her Mauvian companion later, especially to make sure Cinta didn't have any nefarious plans of catnapping her kitten friend, but she fortunately wasn't entirely alone on this cloudy autumn night. By chance, Lepus had run into Namielle, a cat she had met almost a year ago while chasing down a stray cat, and had unexpectedly hit it off with the Mauvian, forging something of a friendship with her and even getting a snazzy new upgrade to eternal with her help a couple months back. They'd crossed paths again tonight, and Lepus had invited the Mauvian to join her in a stake-out, to try to catch a glimpse of any would-be lizard person robber... thing.
"Soooo, what do you think? Real or nah?" Lepus asked Namielle, as they sat atop a rooftop, keeping an eye out while waiting for things to happen.
