It was pretty lame, really; she didn't even have a cool story to tell about any feats of heroism that she had performed or anything. Instead, she had gone to go yell at her dad and his side of the family, to sway their opinion on marrying her off and stuff in the other direction, which... she had possibly been granted an extension on, not that there had been a hard time limit for that, aside from sometime before... before... well, she'd tuned that part out, but assumed they were wanting her to figure something out before her grandparents kicked the bucket or something, since that was what old people did, boss her around.
There was, also, that part where they had wanted to send her off to one of those fancy shmancy finishing schools, where you paid an arm and a leg to enroll in just to learn boring things about how to properly be a rich girl and stuff... which Lepus would not comment on whether or not she had attended during her almost-but-not-quite-year overseas or not. Rather, before Lepus had left DC, she had informed anyone she was in regular contact with (or had Etoile relay the message for her) that she was leaving to undergo a training arc, because that sounded much cooler than 'taking a potential gap year from enrolling in prep school university to go argue with her family'. Like, really, who wanted to hear about her boring rich girl life? If it weren't for the part where having money was nice, both for keeping Etoile fed and also in general, she'd have long since... well, she didn't really know, actually. Probably join a cult, or something? Start a cult?
(Hey, hadn't her past self been some sort of major religious figure?)
For the most part, Lepus had been Good and refrained from powering up, if only because of the huge risk involved, something even a daredevil like Lepus seemed to recognize. Of course, that was about as far as she took being ‘good’, because that was the one that she didn’t particularly have any choice but to obey. It wasn’t as if she would have had anywhere to go, save for visits to her homeworld to brood and sulk about how out of touch her family was with the kind of person Lepus really was, but it was still her one place where her family couldn’t be. As a compromise to herself, the night before leaving Destiny City, she had spent her 18th birthday in space, moping around the Temple of Lepus because it wasn't really as if she could do anything cool like hang out with her friends or anything, who weren’t being sent overseas like she was. As a result, though, this led to a really moody teenager, who wanted to release some pent up energy by beating up things, in the usual Lepus way.
It could have been said Destiny City was much more safer when Lepus was away from it, really.
Thumbing through her contacts list on her senshi phone, Lepus pondered texting specific people, to invite them to spar with her. There was also the connections app, where she could just be like ’Hey! Anyone up for a fight? Meet me at {REDACTED}’ but in the end, Lepus settled for the old fashioned method of seeking out a challenge: look for someone that seemed strong, and pick a fight with them. There was bound to be some senshi or knights around nearby, right?
And hey, speak of the devil- right on cue, Lepus sensed a nearby Order signature, and following after it, spotted a senshi that she was pretty sure she had crossed paths with before a couple of times, but had never properly been introduced to. They had those glowy tattoos like Scylla had had, so that meant that they were extra strong, right? Perfect.
“HEYYYYYYYYYYYY!!” the teen former chibi senshi of rabbits called out to the other eternal, “I think I’ve seen you around before, right???? Do you wanna fight!?”
Charm school, apparently, had not left any lasting impression upon Lepus, re: ladylike manners.

copy paste from discord but with slight edits after logging all of Lepus’ rps and realizing they’ve been at the same events a couple times lol
