With the mysterious snowflakes and wild rabbits gone, the relative quiet that had followed had left Lepus very bored and very antsy, as well as disappointed that she didn't get a cool rabbit army of her own. Despite the holidays coming up soon, the little chibi wasn't satisfied with just idly standing by doing nothing, though she had made it a point to buy more candy canes for Etoile before they all sold out, which had been a feat in itself to keep a secret from her mom before she started to suspect anything. However, it seemed that even the youma were taking the holidays off from their jobs of being Lepus' daily source of entertainment, for her trips around the neighborhood turned up nothing of interest. Add to that the fact that Etoile had been unable to accompany her today due to being unable to being preoccupied with her tv shows, and it was proving to be a very boring night, with nobody to talk to and share her scary ghost stories with. Still, the little senshi of rabbits was uninterested in retiring early for the night and returning home, but what could she do? Her options seemed rather limited. "This is so boring," Lepus whined, though it was to herself more than anything, "Why can't anything cool ever happen?"

"Because," Anakeion hummed, "if anything tried to fight you it'd be too intimidated, y'know?" She was lounging against a streetlamp, a well-loved hoodie haphazardly slung over her shoulders, obviously not part of her costume from its' bubblegum pink color. "Never seen a kiddo as scary as you!" She bowed, not mocking or anything, merely overdramatic. "Nah, but seriously, how're you doin'? The name's Anakeion Page of Castor, atcha service. Should I call up the white rabbit, or do you think you have that covered?"

"Even if I called him, he wouldn't come," Lepus sulkily replied, "He and his friends all went home, or to wherever they were going." Lepus knew that the way her uniform was styled reminded people of Alice in Wonderland, especially the rabbit ears and the pocketwatch; she also knew that if people knew her real name, they'd associate it with her even more. However, right now she was in A Mood (or, rather, just salty) over things being so boring at the moment. "I'm Chibi Lepus, of rabbits. What's a 'Page', anyway?" Daekie 6am is a great time to work on replies right

"Good question, actually," Anakeion muttered, tapping a finger to her lips in contemplation. "We're basically Senshi, I guess? But more King Arthur and less Card Captor Sakura, and we're all named after a place somewhere in the universe we can go." Lepus might have been sulky, but Anakeion had youthful cousins, she was used enough to it that it was no particular annoyance. "I'm named after this big temple-dojo-thing off on Castor, wherever that is. It's crazy cold there." She smiled sheepishly. "But nah - you seem pretty angry. Wanna punch me? I'm tough, I'll be fine."

It was a tempting offer, and Lepus almost immediately said yes, but she paused, skeptic. People didn't normally just offer to let other people punch them, except for maybe in the movies and the tv shows Etoile watched. (Etoile loved her soap operas.) "Are you sure? This isn't a prank, is it?" the little senshi asked.

"Hey," Anakeion shrugged, "I figure I'm cold already, I won't feel your punches. And besides, there's a lot of jerks out there, right? Better for you to figure out how to punch me than do it against someone who wants to actually hurtcha."

Well that certainly was a pretty sound line of logic, and one Lepus hadn't really considered. To be honest, though, it wasn't as if she regularly encountered bullies, both powered and unpowered; she rarely ran into anyone in the case of the former, and in the case of the latter, she was the one scaring people off with her wildly exaggerated and highly spooky stories of woe and terror. Still, Anakeion was here and was offering, and so, with a little shrug, Lepus made up her mind- "Well, okay, then, here I go-!" - And took a swing. (Should she be calling out some sort of attack name or something? Who knew.)

Anakeion, herself, had never particularly dealt with bullies - she just figured she had a strong sense of reasonability for these things, and if she was going to be a magical girl, she worked by magical girl rules. (Also, the two Negaverse lieutenants she'd met and fought in ways that bordered slightly on the obscene, but Lepus was a baby and didn't need to know that.) Lepus' fist hit her directly in the stomach, and she winced, but it was hardly going to kill her. "Try again - I got nowhere to be."

"Is this even really working?" Lepus questioned, but swung again anyway. It wasn't as if she had anywhere to go herself, after all. Except for maybe back home at some point before it was discovered she snuck out, but she was confident she had a few more hours, and that Etoile would call if there was trouble. "Is this really going to help me?"

"If the impact hurts your fist you're doing it wrong," Anakeion shrugged. "I'm not, like, trained? But I would assume," and she sidestepped, "you probably get less of a Buff Boost than I do, 'cause you got magic. What's ya magic, anyways? I don't get magic, I wish I got magic," and then she summoned her toy pillar and flung it like a baton twirler, "but I can do really bad tricks with this?" She didn't catch the pillar. There was no embarassment, or even acknowledgement, on Anakeion's face as it hit the ground. "I would flex at you, but hey, that'd be weird."

"Um, well..." Lepus thought about this for a second, trying to think about how to describe it. She wasn't sure if there was a good way to demonstrate it without a target, after all. "I can, like... trick people? Well, mostly the only things I ever trick are youma," Lepus explained, thoughtfully, "It's like, I can make them go chasing after what they think is me? But it's not- it's like, a rabbit they're chasing after- but it's not a real rabbit either?" "It's fun watching youma run into walls thinking they're chasing me, anyway."

"That sounds really useful," Anakeion grinned, and she seemed genuinely excited, almost bouncing up and down on her tiptoes -- which was an impressive feat, given she was in heels (hardly stilettos in any way, more of character shoes, but the point still stood). "If you'd like, you can use it on me, yeah? I'm hardly no Sun Tzu, but I can tell you what it's like if you get hit by it, so you'll use it on bad guys better!"

"Um..." Lepus thought about this, couldn't come to a decision, and thought about it some more. Well, it wouldn't be much of a problem to show off her attack, but there was one little issue... "Um, okay, I guess I could do that," the chibi senshi finally said, "But I gotta put some distance between us first- and you can't be looking at me! So... turn around, I guess?"

Anakeion gave Lepus a lopsided salute, turning a 180 on her heel (and flailing for balance, because she'd forgotten she was actually in heels again -- it was not an elegant second and a half). "Got it, captain! Fire when ready."

Maaaaybe a little too trusting, Lepus thought to herself, as she worked to put some distance between herself and the Page. Then again, it wasn't as if she was planning on running away. Well, maybe under normal circumstances she would, but they seemed to be... actually, Lepus wasn't sure if this could be considered bonding, just as she wasn't sure if this even counted as sparring, either, when it was mostly one-sided. That said, once she was certain that she had put enough distance between them, and that Anakeion wasn't watching, Lepus shouted, working to throw her voice to make it seem like it was coming from another direction rather than where she actually was. "Over here!" Daekie Over here!
Lepus tricks an opponent into feeling compelled to go chasing after what they believe to be Chibi Lepus running away from them. Once they get close enough (3-5 feet, within reaching distance), 'Chibi Lepus' turns out to be a fake, an illusionary white rabbit that promptly poofs away. This does not work from a short range- Lepus must put some distance between herself and the opponent, and relies on them not seeing Lepus while they're being tricked. It lasts for twenty seconds, and she can only use this once.
