Likes: Takoda, Keilana, Korra, his nephews, bringing things back to his tribesmen, hunting, protecting the village and his family, wandering around on his own, skulking about the forest, getting glory, climbing his way to the top, sweet food, times he is able to eat meat, as well as loyal and trustworthy people.

Dislikes: Idle time, boredom, the idea of failure in himself, large monsters that he can't yet face off against, things that he doesn't understand, the fact that he isn't as smart intellectually, sour food, being stuck eating meatless meats too often, people that screw with his family, those bug like mages, getting hit with offensive magic, and backstabbers.

ASPIRATIONS/PERSONALITY/BIO

Aspirations: His dream was, at first, to just become a powerful swordsman so that he could defend his people and his sister. Through a lot of training and thought though he came to the conclusion that he would better serve them, as well as his own needs, by taking the path of an archer, then becoming a hunter, and from there most likely a ranger. What matters the most at the moment though is the ability to feed himself and Keilana and his new path is a direct reflection of that desire.

Personality: Jacinthus is a very driven young man, one that seems as though he is willing to take on the entire world if he thought that it would aid in helping him to reach his various goals. The most important of them is the need to keep his sister safe, fed, and happy given that the two of them lost their parents when they were younger. While the other members of the villager were kind enough to aid in raising them that only left Jacin feeling as though he were indebted to them for their care and kindness, something he tries to repay daily by hunting for food, information, items that will be useful for trade, and the like. If he feels that it is worth something to his people he will fight tooth and nail to bring it back to them no matter who he has to go through to get what it is that he wants.

Bio: Jacinthus is the oldest of two siblings, the other being Keilana, and the together the pair of them were orphaned when they were quite young when a rather dangerous beast killed their parents. The two of them are unaware of exactly what it was, a good thing since they would be more likely to try to hunt that sort of beast down before they were ready, and afterward the two of them were raised by the other members of their small village. While it was done through kindness it is something bothers Jacinthus. He knows that food can be hard to come by and water even more so, as such he feels as though the two of them, still to young to hunt at the time, were a burden on their people. As such he's been obsessed from a young age with being able to learn to hunt on his own, to feed himself and his sister, and from there to pay back those that had been so kind to them.

The moment he was able to do so he took to catching food for himself and his sister, even moving them back into their old place which felt infinitely smaller without their parents there. It was something that they tried to fix by decorating it with various 'treasures' that the two of them collected. It's not the same as before but they are doing their best to make due with what they were left with instead of always worrying only over what was lost. There are still days though that Jacinthus is pained by the loss of their parents can't help but to wish for them. He just does his best not to show it since he doesn't want Kei worrying.

~ Jacinthus as he appears when he is at his most calm, likely him just waking up from a long nap after a hard day of doing what he does. He is a very determined sort, always looking out for his tribe, trying to figure out what it is that he can do for them, and often goes further then he should as a prentice to try to get for them what they need.

~ Jacinthus has been awarded the rank of Archer and was given a weapon in which he can better serve his tribe and take care of his sister. The first thing he needs to is now is practice, practice, practice!

~ Jacinthus is now a Hunter, a powerful member of his tribe and village, and a rather over protective sort of guy when it comes to his family. He loves his mate, wants to keep him and Keilana safe, and will do anything he needs to do to keep them happy and content. The same goes for the newest members of their family as well, his adorable twin nephews, two people he loves despite his grudge against their father.

~ A Ranger and a powerful one at that Jacinthus is doing his best to keep his mate and their adopted daughter safe from the various dangers that have shown themselves. He's fought the Obans once already and he is ready to fight them again. He hopes that he is able to see them defeated as he is no big fan of the invaders. If he sees any of them getting to close to what is his there is going to be blood.

~ After a strange trip to a place that he can't talk about, where he did things that he can't talk about, Jacinthus is now considered a 'Legendary' Ranger though he doesn't feel any different from before. All that has changed are the odd spots that mark a part of his form and that is all. As such he's trying to push the strange trip aside so that he can continue forward as is usual for him.

FRIENDS/ACQUAINTANCES/FOES

Good:

~ Keilana: 'Little Kei' as he calls her at time, is Jacin's little sister and the person that he loves most in the world. The two of them argue, they complete, they fight, they tease, and they do their best to always one up each other but despite all of that they love each other. There is nothing that Jacin wouldn't do for his sister, willing to go far afield to make sure that she is kept fed and happy and he means to continue doing so for some time to come. Often his over protective actions grate on her thought.

~ Takoda: The young, twitchy, and strange Shifter that Jacin has met recently, is the sort that he finds himself worrying about. The guy seems a little on the soft side what with his fear of little bugs, and Jacin can't believe that people would leave him on his own in the way that they do. He wanted to keep an eye on him and keep him safe but given that he isn't of the Leaf Tribe he doubts that Takoda would be welcome at their place quite yet. The two of them plan on going fishing soon.

JACINTHUS'S HOME

~ Just as with all Leaf Tribe members the home that Jacinthus shares with his sister is a roofed platform located high up in the trees of their village where it is connected with the homes of other villagers. Their home though, from just a glance, is different. It's cluttered with the various items that they have brought back from their various adventures. There are things piled on the floor, hanging from the ceiling, and hung up on the support beams of their house. If there is a flat surface to be had there is likely something on it or under it. They wanted to make their house a home and as such they do so by decorating it to their hearts content. It helps to make the big, empty house they once shared with their parents seem a little smaller due to all of the clutter. At least that is what Jacin feels.

Their village is located fairly close to the border between Jauhar and Tale, something that has caused the wandering Jacin to travel into the thick rainforest from time to time, something he enjoys doing given that the flora, the fauna, and the treasures of the place are much, much different from those of home. The people it would seem are much different as well, something that Jacin is still learning.

JACINTHUS'S STUFF

~ Walking Stick: Since he is still a prentice he doesn't have a true weapon of his own so he instead carries with him a walking stick made of a very strong, cursed branch that he got out of the edge of Jauhar forest which isn't too terribly far from home. *Was left at home when he went on his trip*

~ Journal: An old, beat up journal that his father gave to him. He writes down things in it that he feels will be important, always worrying that he might forget it. The journal is filled with various notes that are written down at random and might make no sense to anyone other then himself and those that he got the information from.

~ Bow & Arrow: The main weapon that the archer now uses it never leaves his side, no matter what, now that he is exploring strange lands with his people and the rest of the group that he is with. He isn't perfect with the weapon but he is trying his best.

LEAF TRIBE INFO

Earthlings: Leaf

This race of long, pointy-eared people has developed a chiefdom level society in Tale, Tendaji’s Savanna. The men and women of the Leaf Tribe possess pale, sand-colored skin and large eyes that come in various shades of green. Pink crystals can be found glittering on their shoulders, face, and shoulder blades. Like most Earthlings, the people of the Leaf Tribe stand at about four feet in height and have evolved in such a way as to blend in with their surroundings.

Although Tale is comprised primarily of dirt and sand, strangely twisted, blue, green, and yellow trees can be found here and there, growing abundantly in small clusters. Within these tiny forests, the Leaf Earthlings have made their home.

The Leaf Tribe has created a network of roofed platforms within their trees. The simple homes are protective during the warm, rainy winters and open during the dry, hot summers, allowing what little breeze there is to pass through. Although the tribe hunts on occasion, their main nutrients come from the strange, liquid-filled bulbs found throughout the Savanna.

Life in Tale can be trying and rough. As a result, this race has developed a profoundly deep, unwavering respect for the land on which they live. They are not always accepting of the occasional visitors who make it to their home. Strangers threaten their way of life and the precious resources that maintain their livelihood.
