Ogbonna didn't like the tone that Uquin was giving him as he carried Nua out of the tent. He sighed, clenched his fists, and ultimately nodded at the command to go fetch wet cloths. However, as he moved to retrieve them, Nua had gotten sick all over Uquin's back, causing him to jump. Aw, poor Nua, his poor poor Nua! The guard grabbed a bucket, the cloths, and raced back to Uquin's side.
"I think we're going to need this bucket." He stated, grasping on Nua's hand gently as they walked. "You stay tough, Nua! It'll all get better before you know it!"

Gyuri, Makani, & Eira Post 10 (last post for them)
Gyuri did try to do the right thing, to be patient, but after a time he realized that there was no more time for that, was there? He was the bodyguard here and he knew by the way that the warriors that had left for battle were starting to appear that it was time to go. They were retreating meaning that those from Oban were going to follow. There was no longer any time for stalling, no more time for Makani's desire to heal to hold presidence over the retreat. There was a part of him that felt a little bad but he knew that as the one given the task for protecting everyone else that he might have moments where his decisions weren't well liked. His job wasn't to be everyone's friend, it was to keep them safe.
Drawing in a deep breath the giant of a man let it out slowly, then looked down at Borra who was still hiding behind his hand. He leaned over and murmured, "It's time to go." As much as he hated what he had to do next he released his hold on Borra, stepping away from him, and gave Eira a glance and a nod. He moved forward to where Makani was first, kneeling down so he could scoop up the unconscious Ruelash, "Sin'qua, Makani, it is time to go." The same thing he'd said to Borra, it felt easier repeating something then it did coming up with new orders each time.
Turning lastly to Takoda he gave him a once over before he walked over to him, wrapping one arm around him, and picked him up. One patient in each arm he then lifted a foot, giving the others a nudge, herding them along. It took only a moment before he had them all moving. He hated to have to do this but perhaps tough love was what was needed now? They could all rage at him later when they were safely away from those that would try to kill them he thought to himself, moving along pretty quickly for a man carry two others.
Eira had done as she could tell Gyuri wanted, moving over to Borra, taking his hand, and was quick to pull her fellow performer along when their giant bodyguard started to herd them along like they were a group of Raoti. It was something she would have complained about where they anywhere else... but for the moment it felt as though it was probably a good idea. They had to get going, to get to safety, and if that meant letting him take charge them perhaps it was for the best? At least they would all get out of here in better shape then some.
She gave one last quick glance around, making sure that everyone was on the move, before quickening her steps, pulling Borra along. Gyuri was right, it was time to go, best that she followed his prudent suggestion. Once they got to... well, wherever it was that they were going then she was sure that Makani would be able to take back up where he'd left off. Glancing over at him she made sure that he was alright, which she felt he was. He had Sinny to lead him along after all while Rae moved to flank him on the otherside, making sure he was protected on both sides. He was blind after all, he needed more looking after then anyone else at this point.
Makani too was glad for the help of Sin'qua and Rae. While a little miffed that his patients were taken away from him by Gyuri he coudl tell from the whirling energy in the air that they were cutting it close. They would have to get out of here, get somewhere safe, and once there he'd resume taking care of the two men that they had in tow with them. Both needed more tending to, the unconscious man especially. He just hoped that they would both be alright until then. Gyuri was sure to take good care of them though so Makani couldn only hope for the best as far as pursuit went and hope they made it to wherever they were going safely and as a group. Not that he thought Gyuri would let them stray too far if he had his way.

Rastian flopped down into a chair and allowed Senja to fix him up as best she could, his face flushing red at being scolded. What did she expect him to come back unharmed? He wished that had been the case! He gave her a sheepish look, one between apologetic and humiliation, and grinned as he was given a kiss. At least he hadn't messed things up with the girl of his dreams!
"I'm thankful that I'm here, it was horrific out there!" He sighed, leaning away from the glare she was giving him. "All I can say is that I tried and I was overpowered... Nothing more to be done about it."
His gaze didn't seem to be spot on or direct with Senja or the others around him. He would often look to Ikkio, smile, or gave her an odd look, and didn't even notice that she had been taken away by her mother. However, with Senja in front of him, how could he be expected to notice anyone else?

When the call for retreat sounded the tall warrior woman looked surprised, looking over her shoulder she eye'd up the beasts who were heavily bleeding at this point, there were still people willing to fight...why were they retreating? Of course there was ...the warriors of Oba to contend with after the beasts. So it made sense, cut your loses and run. But what did that mean for the forest? Worry spread across her face, an ironic thought crossing her mind that perhaps the bug people would do away with the Oba...then they could be thankful to them for..something.
Her thoughts were cut short as Animah spoke and then went to follow orders. Snorting under her breath she cursed the people coming here before moving to follow in behind Animah quickly. She said nothing, but moved like she was the woman's shadow. When Sathe was picked up she wondered who the younger woman was...a spark of jealousy running through her. But this was not the time..hardly.
"Where are we headed?" She murmured, wondering if the next front would be protecting her homeland...and their great mother tree.
Dyakida didn't have to tell Pahana to lean on her twice, the leaf girl allowed herself to slide against the Artisan's shoulder and rest, while keeping herself upright enough so that she wasn't becoming a strain. She let out a contented sigh as she did so, her face alight with a pink hue that almost made her crystals meld into her skin from afar, and smiled. Nothing else seemed to matter to her, except for Peyla, who was chiming out the way to go from where they were.
"She's such a cute little sprite..." She said, gazing to Dyakida. "And you're pretty cute, too..." She thought.

First there was the father of those bug eyed boys that showed up, a man that was kinda creepy with how similar he looked to the boys that showed up. He starred up at them as he greeted his sons. A short time later the father of the girls showed up, checking on her before he was pulled away again... and Aysun found himself looking around for a moment but there was no sign of their parents. He didn't see Uncle Jacin, didn't see Uncle Takoda... did that mean that they weren't coming back? He blinked a couple times then jerked his head away, starring at the ground, then lifted his hands to burying them against his eyes. No... no, he wouldn't cry! He had to be strong for Chandra!
Even as he thought that he heard a familiar voice calling out, one he knew well, and even if it wasn't his father it was at least a relief to hear it. Bomani, his grandfather, the giant of a man came up fast scooping up Zahra off the ground, dragging her into a long kiss, before setting her down, "Looks like everyone is ready? Good, let's get going. The Obans are taking prisoners, I won't have them take a single one of you." He was then quick to scoop up Aysun, Chandra, and his youngest, Shay, who was about their age, "Let's get moving. We are going to Neued it seems. It's not too terribly far away, we should be able to make it." Provided those from Oban didn't attempt to run them down with those monsters they rode. Given that two were injured and one was dead he hoped that would slow down pursuit.
Turning to look over at the others nearby he gave them a nod, "Feel free to travel with us, of course, but let's get moving now." He said to everyone that seemed to have gathered in this area. He'd guess it was due to all the little younglings that everyone was holding. Had his wife some out collected them all? She seemed to be a magnet for younglings so he wouldn't put it passed her.
He waited until his wife and his other three children started walking before he started along after them, three younglings in his arms, hoping that the others would follow quickly. They couldn't stay too long lest they be overrun, not something that Bomani meant to see happen to his family if he could help it. He gave a look around, biting his lip when he didn't see his oldest. A part of him wanted to ask if any of them had seen Chalcedony of the woman that had given birth to the twins... but given that he didn't spot them straight away maybe that wasn't something to be asked now. Later, when they were safe, they would search for missing loved ones. For now he had to make sure the rest got out. It was a painfully hard decision but as the head of the family it was his to make.

Tahigwa latched onto Ilyra's arm as soon as she came to her side and quickly raced off towards the rest of the group. They had to go, now! They couldn't sit and chat! Tahigwa's whole body was in a panic until they got into the middle of the group.
"I don't think we're going home any time soon, Lyra." She said, leaning on her girlfriend's shoulder. "Neued is a Shifter settlement... I hope we'll be okay there..."

Natsu paused in his walking to look at Viveka. If Viveka went back now to look for Rastian, he could be left behind, which would be horrible. The love of his life, left to the mercy of the Obans, there would be no way in hell he could allow that to happen.
"If you go look for him, you know I'm going with you." He said, biting his lip.

Viveka clenched his fist, debating on whether or not looking for his brother would be a good idea. Rastian could be lost, hurt, or worse, DEAD, and he didn't even know! He stood still, tears welling in his eyes, before shaking his head.
"No, he wouldn't want me to fuss, I know him!" He sighed, the words falling out like poison. "...Let's get to safety, I'll look for him there!"

Yaholo gave both his boys a quick glance as the spoke and rolled his eyes. He prayed to Aisha that they hadn't caused any issues while he had been off fighting, because he didn't have the time now to apologize for any of it, they were moving to a Shifter village that he'd only skirted by once or twice, and there would be no time for formalities until after they settled there. He smoothed Ikuri's hair a little and laughed a little at her question.
"Your mommy's Zuri? No wonder you're so pretty, you look just like her!" He cooed, giving her a quick snuggle. Then, suddenly, Biroki appeared at his side. The massif adjusted Samoset in his arms so he could reach out to the Sage in greeting only to return to his former posture and nod firmly as the other man rushed away. He'd take care of Ikuri for him, she was being very sweet so far! But, it would probably be a good idea to find Zuri before too long, he wouldn't want to lose one of his twins for more than a second, he couldn't imagine how Zuri was feeling right now!
He adjusted the trio once more in his arms, making sure that they were secured in his grip, and gave a nod to Bomani as they made their way towards the group. There would be plenty of time to search for loved ones later when everyone was settled. Admittedly, as he wandered forward with the others, his thoughts were on a certain swordsman, not that would be of any surprise. He hadn't seen him during the battle, nor before it, which made him wonder just what he could be doing during such an important battle. He couldn't still be in Zena, could he? Naaah, he was strong enough to get away from his father once, he could do it again.
And he hoped to see him soon.

Samoset grinned as Bomani offered to let them travel with his family, he would be able to play with Aysun and Chandra later! For now, though, it was time to snuggle up to his daddy and rest up for all the fun that would happen when they got to the safe place.
"I can't wait to see what this new place is like!" He chirped. "Do you think we can have a bonfire? We can cook stuff together!"

Kennet heaved a sigh and flopped against his dad, settling in for a nap that he had wanted hours earlier. He was glad that the battle was over and that his daddy was okay, and he was sort of glad to see that Ikuri was here to play with while his brother played with those two boys, but he couldn't help but feel that this wasn't the end of all the problems. Was it really okay to go back to playing and having fun while there were people dying all around them? He pursed his lips, nuzzled his father, and reached out to pat Ikuri's head.
"You can stay with me and look for your mom, don't worry." He said.

Good, they were following. Uquin may have been curt with the guard, but when he nodded, Uquin relaxed and shot him a grateful grin. The longer he listened to Nuawahn, the more he was convinced he needed the be laid down to sleep. Vomiting was a natural reaction to concussion - made worse if he was moved, but Uquin really didn't have a choice - it was move him, or leave him to the mercy of Oba, since they were right on their heels.
But when Nuawahn got sick, Uquin stopped - briefly, feeling a bristle of disgust travel through him. Yes, he known to be prepared for it, but ... eyurgh. Uquin bristled, his hands briefly tensing, but he let out a long, deep breath to calm himself and continued on, tilting his head to look at Ogbonna. "I'm glad that he has someone he knows with him." It was meant to be a peace offering. He hoped that if it came to it, Ogbonna would help keep any trouble off his heal - for Nuawahn, even if not for himself.

The group had finally reached Neued and it was safe to say that most, if not all, were exhausted. Antiope looked around the crowd and searched for the other elders. Besian and Freya were missing. After convening with the elders the events that had gone on in the battle were told to the rest of the crowd.
But now was not the time for questions. The battle was lost, and it was time to be with loved ones and to regroup and raise morale before it was time to fight again. And there would be another fight. Tendaji would not go down that easy, and it's people were not willing to be slaves to the Obans.
