The Shifter gave a bit of a sigh, things were piling up on the shelves, papers and books were strewn about to find what he needed in order to help those who came to him asking him various questions when it came to magic. Sometimes the poor man was unable to answer the questions, often calling upon his nephew Chandra to deal with anything that dealt with the more offensive side of magic.

Fingers danced across a dusty cover of a book that he hadn't opened in a long time. It was one of the few books he would never lend out. The original book that belonged to his mother, pertaining to the herbs and plants of Jahaur. He had always wanted to travel the world and see if any other plants could have any benefits to healing but...his family was here. With the Dretch showing up in Neued he didn't feel safe leaving, besides he had Jacinthus and Korra to think about. It was selfish of him to want to pick up and leave.

Blowing the dust off the tome he picked it up and began the arjuous task of reorganizing.

A pair of glittering green eyes had locked on the Shifter as he went about cleaning up his various magical books and notes. He was pretty deep into the task wasn't he? He didn't even know that someone was sneaking up on him, but that was what was cute about Takoda. It probably helped that one creeping up behind him was rather good at sneaking about. Being able to move silently was something quite useful to a hunter after all. One couldn't be loud if they were hunting for dinner after all.

Jacinthus came to stand behind Takoda, a big grin on his face, "You know if I was something scary I would have eaten you up by now." He whispered against Takoda's ear before he slid his arms around the beautiful Shifter, dragging him backwards into his hold. Now that he'd found him, all alone and without any of his students about, he was going to take full advantage. Especially given that Korra was out playing as well, that just gave him that much more of a window when it came to finally getting some alone time with his beloved mate. He supposed sneaking up on him might not have been too nice but he just couldn't resist when there was a chance he could get a good squeal out of the Shifter.

Giving a squeak of surprise, he shouldn't of been that startled except for the fact that he was quite a timid man by nature. So it didn't take much to surprise him. Dropping the books that he had accumulated in his arms he looked over his shoulder to see the taller leaf male dragging him away from his work. It was hard to be angry with him though, and he could understand Jacinthus's desire to hoard him while he was alone. Didn't feel like they were alone very much now with Korra around as well all the various people coming to him with questions.

Giving a small chuckle Takoda attempted to turn around in Jacinthus's arms, giving him a look that wasn't annoyed but sensing his lover's frustration. "I'll never get my work done at this rate...but its nice to take a break. Where is Korra? I hope she isn't getting lost again.." He mused a bit nervous letting Korra go off on her own as ..she tended to get lost...a lot. Still it was nice to be in Jacinthus's embrace and he snuck a quick kiss onto his lovers lips.

A soft chuckle escaped from Jacin's lips, one that said he was quite pleased with the reaction that he'd gotten from Takoda. Not only a nice squeak but his mate had also dropped the books that he was holding all over the floor. It was a lot more then he could have hoped for when it came to him. Giving him another smile, as well as a kiss on the shoulder, he said in a hushed tone, "You know, even though I am not a dangerous beast I'm still quite tempted to eat you up regardless." He gave his mate a little wink before watching him as he turned around in his arms but didn't try to move away from him, something that heightened Jacinthus's good mood that much more.

"Hm? Maybe not, but you deserve a break from time to time, especially when it's a break with me." He told Takoda, wanting nothing more then to keep his mate all to himself for a little while. There just seemed to be too many people buzzing around, stealing Takoda away from him these days. He'd let it slid with Chandra, the boy was his nephew after all, but it seemed others were migrating here as well, as though they knew how special Takoda was. Not something he much cared for, seeing his mate's attention stolen away by so many people, but he had to behave and act his age, he wasn't a prentice anymore and he couldn't go getting in random fist fights over Takoda now could he?

Drawn from his thoughts by the question about Korra he gave a chuckle, "Well, last I saw she was in the village? If she somehow gets herself lost I will track her down, I always do." It seemed to be something he had to do from time to time. It was a bit odd, having to track Korra like she was some sort of prey item, but at least it allowed him to save her from any possible danger she might get herself into.

The kiss that he got from Takoda was a nice one, one that drew all of Jacinthus's attention onto the healer, before he gave him a smile, "You really are amazing, aren't you?" He murmured before sliding a hand into Takoda's silky hair before drawing him in for another, deeper kiss.

Takoda was trying very hard to get into the mood, it had been a very long time since he and Jacinthus had any alone time. Between his students and Korra it felt like his attention was being drawn in a hundred different ways. It wasn't fair to Jacinthus, perhaps they should take some much needed time off to enjoy each others company. Although that would mean leaving..and he wasn't sure how he felt about Korra being alone. Once again his thoughts were being drawn away, though he wanted so much to lavish Jacinthus with love he felt his wandering mind do just that wander.

After parting from the kiss he gave a small frustrated sound, draping his arms around Jacinthus before leaning his head against the taller males chest. "I am sorry I am a terrible mate, I've been neglecting you.." He mused a moment though he didn't feel quite in the mood to just..throw himself at Jacinthus. He rubbed his face feeling rather stupid and a horrible person to boot.

"...Sorry.I guess I've got a lot on my mind..do you think its okay for me to be teaching kids about magic? I am hardly qualified.."

Jacinthus looked down at Takoda as he dropped his head onto his chest, something that had him starring down at him a moment, "Takoda?" He murmured, lifting a hand so that he could sooth it against his mate's soft locks, "It's alright, Takoda, you have just been busy with a lot of work is all. I have missed your company, of course, but even as tempting as it is I won't toss you over my shoulder to carry you off." Tempting, so very tempting he thought to himself.

"Hm? Well, I can't really think of anyone else that is more qualified to go about teaching people about magic. That sort of stuff, it's way above my understanding." He said in a gentle manner before he leaned over to kiss the top of his head, "You're one of the best in the village, especially when it comes to the healing of others. That is a skill that needs to be shared." Healers kept others in the village alive and healthy, it allowed their village to stay strong which was something important to Jacinthus.

Giving a smile he said, "If it's what you want to do, to share your knowledge with others, then you should. If you need a break though you can take a couple days off to do something fun?"

Jacin's lips turned up into a bit of a grin, pressing a kiss to Takoda's neck, "Oh, I can think of many, many things that we could do for fun Takoda... though we should consider what it is that you want to do. Even if it's something as simple as to just laze around for a few days doing nothing pretending that we aren't home, we can do that." Not what Jacin had in mind of course, but it would be Takoda's vacation and not his own, so he had to think more about what he wanted to do. He wanted him to be able to relax, to enjoy himself, and let his stress melt away.

After a moment of consideration he said, "We could also do what we did when we were younger? Go on a walk, pick some herbs, while I protect you from all the scary bugs that are laying in wait?" He said the last bit in a teasing tone of voice, unable to help it. Takoda was so adorable when they were younger, the way he'd squeak and flail about when bugs came flying at him. Jacinthus had then been in charge of dispatching the bugs so that they could continue on with their herbs hunting in peace. Takoda could probably squash bugs easily enough on his own these days, though Jacinthus was fine with stepping in if they ran into some of the bigger ones that Jauhar had to offer.

"It's up to you though, love, anything you want to do. Just ask and I will do my best to provide."

Jacinthus gave a nod of his head, giving a smile, "Alright, we can fetch some herbs if that is really what you want to do." He found Takoda to be rather adorable, being offered anything he wanted to do and he still picked something that was so selfless as wanting to collect herbs first before saying he also wanted to check on his parent's home. Nodding he said, "We can do that as well. Just let me get a few things gathered together that we will need for our hike."

He had to think about it for a moment, "Let's see, water, some rations, clothes to wrap your herbs in, an empty pack to carry things, my bow, and a quiver full of arrows." He wanted to make sure that they had everything that they needed for the hike, though at the same time he was kind of reluctant to step away from Takoda since he rather enjoyed cuddling up to him. To be honest he'd be happy to just stay home with Takoda in his arms... but he'd already agreed to the hike.

Giving him one last kiss he stepped back, "Alright, shall we prepare, love?"

Jacinthus gave a bit of a laugh and said, "Oh believe me, we will definitely have a day where we stay in. Just the two of, enjoying... well, you know, staying home together." He gave a toothy grin before moving to start to gather the things that he'd said that they would need, "That is something we will defintely do next time... and many times after that."

He turned to give him a little wink before he scooped up his bow, putting it over his shoulder, then looked at Takoda, holding a hand out to him, "Shall we?"

"Hm... well, I know how you feel about hunting so I am not exactly planning on it. At the same time I feel I should bring my bow in case something tries to pick a fight with us." He wasn't about to let some foolish bug or beast get anywhere near his mate when the man was gathering herbs. He would protect him if the need arose, though if they were lucky he wouldn't have to do that while Takoda was around. He much preferred to keep his hunts separate from the time they spent together.

Giving him a smile he said, "Unless something picks a fight first I doubt I will have to notch any arrows." That was what he was hoping for at least, for Takoda's sake. He'd rather that this was just a simple, peaceful herb run. It was something that Takoda could really use since his mate had been so busy of late. Having a nice break was something that he was due at this point.

Jacinthus gave a nod of his head, moving to follow along after his mate, "We don't want the best herbs to be taken either." Though he wasn't sure if there were a lot of people that were seeking herbs at this time of day. Here was to hoping that it would be just the two of them because even if it wasn't the most romantic errand it was still more then enough to make Jacinthus happy. Just the fact that they were alone was good by Jacin.

"Feel free to gather all the herbs you can and I will keep an eye out for any dangers." He said as he fell into step alongside his mate. He looked from side to side but wasn't worried since, for the moment at least, they were still within the village. Once they got to the edge of Yera though he would be more on guard.

Jacinthus gave a sile, watching as his mate went around from cluster of herbs to cluster of herbs. It was something that was too cute to the hunter, not to mention he could admire the manner in which he bent over to and squatted down to dig around for the herbs. He'd help out if he could... but herbs wasn't something that he'd ever understood. He couldn't exactly help with the plucking of herbs but he could definitely enjoy the sight of him while he was at work.

As his mate asked him about his sister he gave a humming sound before he said, "She's doing good from what I gather. Working hard doing her own things, and taking on students of her own." He gave a bit of a grin as he said, "I feel a bit bad for those poor, stupid kids though. They are going to get worked to death." A mental image that had him chuckling a bit. It was something that would be amazing to sit in on one day, just to see his sister's version of training.

"That or she managed to find an entire band of masochists to teach." He said it in a serious manner before cracking a smile, unable to help but to be amused by the thought. It was that or the way that they would end up that way after her training. So long as those that she was teaching did well then they would have a whole new group of guards to help out around Tale. At least that was what he was hoping and he hoped the same would come of those that he was taking on himself.

Glancing over at Takoda he gave a smile, "Oh? Seems like I am a lucky charm." He said, giving Takoda a little wink before he took the leaves that were shoved toward him. He looked down at them, then nodded, taking them from his hands. He reached into his own pack, getting out a cloth, and used it to wrap up the leaves so that they wouldn't risk losing any of them even if they were so rare. He gave a smile, "How many of them do we want to gather ? As many as we can? Or should we leave some behind so it can continue to propagate?"
