✶Gardening _________Kyrie, without question, loves plant life. Well. All life. But flora has a special place in her heart. Gardening gives her a chance to help encourage new life, and there's no such thing as too many plants in her book. Unless it becomes a strain on resources, then they must be properly spaced out and resituated to ensure they thrive. From single tiny pots, to wide windowsill boxes and sprawling plots in community gardens, Kyrie adores learning about what plants do best where, with what growing around them, and how to tend to them to ensure the plants thrive. Never mind connecting to others who enjoy the plants! Just like pretty flowers? She's with you on that, and can make suggestions for what you can grow yourself, or great places to purchase cuttings. Want to grow your own crops to enjoy in your cooking? Just let her know the space restrictions for where you want it to go, and she'll map out a whole plan for you. Self-sustaining systems are a goal whenever she can make it work, but she still loves the delicate plants and flowers growing in her home or in greenhouses she needs to specifically tend to keep flourishing.
✶Illustrations _________As her world grew quiet, Kyrie drew. A lot. She used what resources were available to her to document the life on Solaris, and especially noting what was lost from her home. Diagrams of flora and fauna after they perished, small scene sketches of how they interacted with their environment while alive. It was a way for her to retain as much of her own memories of the place as she could, and a way for her to relive those memories by redrawing scenes and loved ones. She had supplies to make art, and a lot of time to pass... if nothing else, Kyrie had tried to do so as productively as possible. Now on Earth, she uses these skills to help her study and enjoy life on Earth--plants, animals, people, objects and technology as she learns about their uses and construction... it's a way for her to as much document her journey as it is for her to memorize and learn. And if she happens to make a few hundred charcoal drawings of plants, or watercolor pieces of scenes in parks... well, what's wrong with experimenting with different ways of displaying the wonder and beauty she sees there?
✶Storytelling and Performance _________Kyrie had a lot of time to sit around and twiddle her thumbs. She also remembers how important music was for her people. Art and music, for them, was the best ways of passing along stories. While writing systems existed, her people believed strongly in the power of change, and how art, music, and storytelling all together cause a natural shift and growth in their stories and traditions. Even if everything else around it changes, the spark or core of the content remains the same, the catalyst that is retold, reshown, again and again. Kyrie, in her time, has made it a personal goal to continue these beliefs. She preserved guides, instruments, supplies... and taught herself a wide variety of different string, wind, and percussion instruments to continue performing as her people have held dear. She can often be found, now on Earth, using these skills to perform in the streets. She enjoys sharing stories from her people, aware that the people of Earth will only hear them as made-up fairytales. Learning about stories from Earth's history and legends is another aspect involved in this, using them to perform and celebrate, in her own way, Earth's survival and life.
✶Clothes _________Kyrie enjoys very bright, holographic clothing, very "rave" style. But cute, oversized clothes with mushrooms, cute prints, and cosmic designs are other huge hits. She's got a very eclectic style right now because she likes everything, and she's still learning what Earthlings consider 'fashion.'
✶Tenacious _________「✓」Ain't nothing gonna break my stride-- Kyrie has watched her loved ones die, watch the life on her world die, and has had no choice but to keep moving forward. It was not easy. But she had no choice. After the last two hundred years of utter loneliness, and plenty of crushing despair, she feels pretty dang confident she can push herself through anything. It's not easy. Doubt is a big thing that exists in her. But she's seen what she's survived, and what she needs to keep surviving for. And what she feels she must protect. The idea of failure is out of the question for her--not again. She might fall down, she might suffer setbacks and defeat. But she'll get back up, and keep moving on. That much, she has unwavering faith in.
✶Sunshine _________「✓」 Warm, cheery, bright... going to burn out all it's energy at some point and collapse. Yeah, that describes Kyrie just as much as it describes the sun. She's a ball of energy, flitting about from one thing to another because there's so much good and fun to experience, and so much time she feels she needs to make up for. All her good-vibes aren't hoarded, though. She'll share! Perhaps a bit too enthusiastically. But if someone's down, she wants to hear about what's got them there, and what can she do to help cheer them up a bit. Life is precious. People are precious. She's seen more than enough suffering and sorrow to last her twenty lifetimes. Anything she can do to help someone now, she'll jump for. Whatever can bring some more sunshine and happiness into their lives, even if it's just a brief peek through the clouds, she'll offer with all the genuine warmth, smiles, and cheer she can muster.
✶Detached _________「✗」 After being apart from life for so long, Kyrie has found being exposed to society again... odd. She is aware of her age compared to others here on Earth, but also aware she is effectively a very young woman at the same time. She has experienced so much, but also extremely little in her closed-off world. She experiences emotions, can sympathize and empathize... but only to an extent. Why do young people care so much about what their classmates say on social media? Why do people waste precious time and energy on crappy other people who clearly won't change? Why settle for a horrible, boring job when money can be made elsewhere that's so much more fun? After so long away, Kyrie has a difficult time trying to fully relate to others. She can understand why someone is upset about a cheating lover, but not why they can't just leave them. She understands money is important to survive due to how resources are gained in this society, but can't comprehend why someone would be willing to work to live. She has largely lost her ability to put herself in someone else's shoes, and it can cause her to come off as extremely flippant and childish in her responses to stressful, even dire situations. It's not that she doesn't care... it's that she can't imagine herself in a position where such things are a life-or-death situation.
✶Crash and Burn _________「✗」 Kyrie is, largely speaking, operating at anywhere from eighty to a hundred percent energy output. So to speak. She can chill, she can relax... but she's got so much she wants to do! If someone needs her help, she's not going to pause to smell the roses--though she might pause to water them--she'll be pushing herself to get things done that she thinks will lift their mood, or potentially deal with their problem so they can move on to better things. There's stories and music to perform, there's beautiful scenes to be drawn, there's training to be done, there's, there's-- ...probably not a bed close enough for when she finally collapses. Like the sun she so mirrors, Kyrie burns bright, till she burns out all her energy, and then she's down. Restraining herself, holding back, biding her time... those things don't really occur to her. Even if others bring it up, she'll likely wave it off or flatly ignore the advice--even orders--unless backed into a corner she can't argue herself out of. She operates at top speed nearly all the time, so when she's out of fuel, she's out. It's not uncommon to find Kyrie passed out cold on a couch or random chair that really doesn't look comfy. Or on a random bench in the park with her art stuff around her, or tucked away in an alley leaning on her instrument she was using in her street performance. She'll crash, recharge, then jump right back to it. It's not a healthy pattern, and there are times she's just too exhausted, sick, and only has herself to blame. Once she's set her mind on something, her tenacity means she'll gun for it till either she's achieved the goal, or she goes supernova.

✶Catalytic Spark _________「𝔅」 She points her fingers with one hand like a 'gun' to direct her magic at a target. Snapping those fingers, Solaris creates a spark that stays in front of her hand. This spark is the catalyst for a rapidly growing flood of energy to pool into an expanding, fuzzy ball in front of her hand. It maxes out in size of about 3 inches diameter (the size of a baseball). This ball of golden, condensed light and energy then shoots out towards the target Solaris' pointer finger is directed at. The ball can travel up to ten feet before exploding and dispersing, even if it hasn't hit a target by that point. Anyone hit by the ball itself, or the resulting explosion, are subject to blunt force damage and rapid, high heat when the ball explodes that last for only five seconds. The extent of the damage is up to the player, at minimum should cause small bruises, and redness on exposed skin from the heat. Solaris can use this magic up to three times a day.

Anyone hit by the ball itself, or the resulting explosion, are subject to blunt force damage and rapid, high heat when the ball explodes that last for only five seconds. The extent of the damage is up to the player, at minimum should cause moderate bruising, and slight blistering on exposed skin from the heat. Solaris can use this magic up to two times a day.
✶The Big Bang _________「𝔈」 Solaris holds up her hands like she's cupping something. A spark appears between them, hovering wherever in the air Solaris had positioned her hands. After five seconds of hovering, the spark is the catalyst that sets off a large explosion of golden energy that is extremely hot, and extremely fast. This energy rushes out in a radius of ten feet, leaving behind golden 'dust clouds' and even other sparks of light that seem like stars. For anyone caught in the radius of the blast, they are subject to blunt force damage and the sensation of blistering on exposed skin from the heat. The sensation of blistering will last for up to 45 seconds but players can choose to take lasting damage. While this hits all caught in the range regardless of faction, those who are Order-aligned might find they are somewhat shielded from the blast. Solaris can use this magic only once a day.

One Alastorian Black Candle xxxxxxxxA black pillar candle with an iridescent teal sheen to it. It is about a foot tall and three inches wide; it has the golden mandala insignia of Alastor on the front, and elegant golden patterns on the sides and back. Glass beads in various shades of blue, teal, and amber decorate the candle. It is an incredibly artistic candle with a single wick. When lit, the candle burns brightly and if you look deeply enough into the flame, it burns with a shimmer that makes it appear as if the fire has small specks of glitter in it. The candle has no real fragrance but smells faintly of rain; the flame is resilient against wind and water and takes a bit of effort to actually put out. ✶Physical Traits _________「⋆」Wings :: Solaris has two sets of small, pale-peach wings. They are incapable of flight. She can move them, as they have muscle within them, much like a bird can--flapping, extending and folding to rest against her back, fluffing up the feathers, etc. They do not enable her to fly on Earth, or do much more than cause a little wind if she flaps them enough. They are more a show of emotion when she makes such movements.
_________「⋆」Shimmering Skin :: Solaris' skin is 'freckled with small, reflective spots. These spots feel like regular skin, and do not offer any protective quality. They merely are able to reflect light shown on them. The look is akin to a 'diamond dust' sort of look.
_________「⋆」Pointed Ears :: Solaris' ears are slightly elongated and pointed at the tips. They offer no change to her hearing versus a human's ears.
_________「⋆」Warm Body :: On average, Solaris' body temperature runs rather high. While this does mean she's less affected by colder temperatures, hotter temperatures risk her overheating if she's not careful. On her homeworld, this enables her to be comfortable at much higher altitudes with thinner, colder air.
_________「⋆」Light Body :: Solaris might be considered fairly lightweight on Earth; due to the gravitational difference on Earth and Solaris she weighs less than she might appear. While this might surprise anyone trying to pick her up, it doesn't give her an advantage in battle. She is more susceptible to heavy hits because she does not have the weight to stand her ground, but it might be easier for an ally to carry her if she is injured or unable to move herself.
_________「⋆」Gliding :: This is only accessible on Solaris' homeworld. The gravity there is lower than what is experienced on Earth. Extremely powerful winds are a commonplace occurrence, and when both are paired with the fact Solarians weigh relatively little, it enables Solaris to glide. However, due to the weather changes brought on by the Chaos influence on her world, this is currently inaccessible to her. Attempts to glide result in injury, and risk worse.
✶History On Solaris during the time of the Silver Millenium, Kyrie was spoiled. She was the precious senshi of her world, the sign of change that her people welcomed with open arms and celebration. Her childish behavior and lack of respect for traditions was not quite so welcomed, but her antics were enabled over and over by the people around her. She took them for granted. Something she regrets heavily to this day.
But she was a competent enough senshi to achieve the rank of Eternal, and Kyrie was happy with her position in life and in her society. She had her family who were given a highly elevated status and quality of life, she had friends--even if most were more fair-weather types--and she had various forms of love. She often traveled for political reasons, but she enjoyed meeting new people and seeing other worlds.
Life was great, and she had zero complaints. She could do whatever she wanted, and even if people complained, it didn't impact her in the slightest. She'd no worries or concerns.
When the Silver Millenium fell, and while strife and unease was felt by all, Solaris was still thriving on its own. For Kyrie, she fell back on the people with actual knowledge on how to solidify trade routes, make projections and plans about the uses of resources, ensure their people were safe and cared for. She just had to look pretty, smile, and help out in public. It wasn't horrible. She didn't fear for what was to come. They'd survive this. Changed, but whole.
It was a sudden increase in storms on Solaris that signaled the full extent of this change, however.
The energy storms that were commonplace on Solaris started to increase around the poles, causing stronger winds to race across the rest of the planet. People found their crops and homes destroyed, or swept away by monstrous waves and winds. Natural disasters, though certainly something that happened, began to hit with such ferocity and frequency that whole populations of people had to be moved to more sheltered regions and behind city walls. Their crops began to fail, and people... began to go missing. Villages, towns... cities. They would vanish as the storms and failing food supplies ravaged their resources. Forests would be found ripped up, the floating islands they built some of their settlements upon crashed into the world below.
Solaris was dying.
Kyrie could do nothing in all of this. While she was a symbol of change, she did not possess the knowledge of politics or resource management to offer any actual advice in the growing crises. Her power did nothing to help her people.
And like a true catalyst, Kyrie watched on as while her world around her began to change and shift... she remained unchanged.
She watched as her younger siblings grew up, as cities fell and smaller, bunkered down settlements tried to form in their rubble. Kyrie could do nothing as people died. As her family grew old... and passed on.
This went on for centuries.
The people of Solaris turned away from their senshi who was so incapable of saving them. Though she tried to connect to her world, tried to urge it back to health and thrive, she found her world was being drained. Something was tainting her world. A plague formed, decimating large swaths of Solaris of all life, leaving only a brittle, dry, broken world. Kyrie tried to help preserve what they could of the Solarian people--their art, their music, their stories. At times, they would seem to be on the mend, with more children being born than people were dying. Resources seemed to recover enough to offer hope. Such trends did not last.
Two hundred and fifty years ago, the last of her people died with Kyrie kneeling at their bedsides. Two hundred years ago, the last of the wildlife died, leaving Kyrie only their remains to sketch and try to memorialize them. The plant life faded, leaving husks. While some crops remained, some small oasis and outcroppings, it was nothing that could sustain life.
Her world was dead, and Kyrie watched on, unchanged, save the centuries of regret and sorrow only survivors can carry. She spent her time fiddling with art, with music. With anything that could maybe her from going insane in her loneliness. She maintained vast, vast graveyards and memorials. Visited cherished sites. Walked the broken, blasted lands the plague had ruined.
When she felt that burst of energy, that something that was calling her, Kyrie did not hesitate. She was the catalyst that was left unchanged while her world had plummeted into darkness. Surely, after all that, it was time for a better change, wasn't it? It was a gamble, but with nothing left to lose, Sailor Solaris let the other force pull her onward, and she left the empty world behind.
