Sailor Daphne

Daphne nodded weakly. She wasn't sure if she could accept that he was
completely fine, but before she could think too much about that, he was was hugging her close, and she didn't resist collapsing into his arms.

"No," she told him, because she wasn't going to pretend that she was fine. She wasn't going to lie, not to him.

Although she also didn't know how to say, in a room full of people who were celebrating their victory, however tired and worn they might be, what had really happened. She didn't know how to say how fully the Chaos had gotten to her, how fully she'd given up.

She didn't know how to say that Soleiyu had needed to come save her and that even then, how close she'd been to fighting him so that she could keep the Chaos crystal and maybe see her father again.

She just mumbled, into his shoulder, "I hate everything."

Only half a moment passed before she added, quickly, "Not you, though." She hugged him back, weak as her grip might be. "Never you."

Sailor Solaris

The fact she’d interrupted a hug wasn’t lost on Solaris, and she figured she’d quickly arrange an agreement for a later conversation, and move away to give the two women space to speak. Were she more concerned with her manners, she would have just made a mental note to try and find information about all this another time—but she’d been on Earth a year (almost), and hadn’t felt something quite like this sort of signature. She didn’t see the harm in putting aside those manners long enough to… schedule something.

Thus her surprise that the young woman just… spoke with her now. Solaris’ eyes widened briefly before she listened carefully. Royal… starseed? That was a thing? Her brows furrowed, and she cocked her head slightly. Pale blue eyes glanced away, scanning the floor, seemingly—looking off into memories, in reality. Trying to scan fragments of things from a long, long time ago.

"…not… that I remember," she said slowly, careful with each word. She weighed them against barely remembered encounters with different peoples. Different ranks. She’d met royals, sure. But a royal senshi..?

"I… knew a senshi who was a king of his people, but…" He’d been an Eternal, like her. A scowl formed on her face, slowly shaking her head. "If I’d known anyone who had a signature like yours, it’s been lost the centuries, I guess… I didn’t start writing things down to try and keep a personal record till… a while into things falling apart." The words were a grumble, annoyance with herself. But back then, she’d never thought the turmoil that was starting would lead to centuries of conflicts and such. The idea of trying to preserve information from even her own memories, never mind information of her people, hadn’t become a concern until things had already begun to fade due to being deemed unimportant.

She looked back up to the two women, a sheepish, apologetic smile flitting across her face. "I’m sorry, I’m being incredibly rude. I’m Solaris."

Mauvian Realta

Oh—he was polite! The fact he came down to her level was rather kind of him—she didn’t mind looking up, but the shift certainly was nicer for her neck. Never mind the fact he held up his hand as a clear offer, but didn’t automatically try to pet her. Realta purred a little, happy to bump her head against his palm. Yes, she enjoyed scritches, but certainly for new acquaintances it was best to ask first.

Either he was familiar with Mauvians, or felines in general, but he’d gained good points in her book.

She listened though, ears perking as he mentioned the advantage his wonder seemed to give him. “Do you mind elaborating on that? I’m not terribly familiar with knight wonders, though I’m aware they can vary greatly from one another.” Affects connected to their patron senshi, was her understanding. She eyed his uniform. Uranus. A world of sands and winds, was the extent of her familiarity. “Chaos seems to have been especially brutal to some more than others, from the sounds of things. I clearly must count myself lucky for the extent of what I was shown.”

Not that seeing Metis hurt had been… easy. But she’d not been shown absolute horrors—the tears and shaken appearances of others around the Hall certainly made her wonder what they’d all seen…

Illyria, Mauvian

Illyria had been silently digesting the conversations around her while still being held by Selinur. Her gaze spotted the knight Meighei, who she'd seen before on Astraya, before she gave a quick shudder. Best not to think of that place. Really, it was for the best. Instead Illyria caught the tail end of what Ida had been explaining to Athene. Strangely enough it was sound advice that she could take to heart as well. It had been very rattling to have faced down a copy of Ida that had known which buttons to push to almost get her to abandon the others. Being mindful of who held her Illyria shifted her body a little before peering at all of those that had comprised her group. The mind knew what sometimes the heart tried to forget.

Taking in everyone who had returned to the hall the Mauvian was rather glad to note that at a first glance it didn't appear like anyone had been left behind. Although being as small as she was there was no guarantees that she could have missed people when she had first arrived.

Instead of dwelling on the possible negatives Illyria attempted to reach out and lay a paw on the nearest piece of cloth from Athene's fuku. "I think we were all rattled by what we saw today," and now Illyria looked at the rest of her group, before she admitted softly, "I know I won't be able to forget things that were seen today."

There was also the matter of the information that Selinur had divulged about his own home world and its warming as a result of chaos. Even if the chaos was eradicated from Selinur, how would one go about reversing a warming of the planet?

Abzu, Page of Neptune

His head was up in the clouds, or spinning, or too full of thoughts for him to comprehend, and now that the adrenaline of confronting the fake Pendour and destroying the gem was gone, he felt strangely loose and high all at once. Abzu had all but stumbled his way to the main hall, trying his best not to think too hard about it all, but it was hard to think hard about anything when it felt like hanging onto anything was grasping at straws. For a moment, he wished that had been Pendour; perhaps they could escape immediately to her wonder and relax in her cuddle room on some beanbags.

Maybe she wouldn't mind if he brought some assistance with him.

He was ultimately glad it wasn't Pendour and she didn't seem to be there. He was confident that she could have easily handled herself, but Abzu didn't want her to go through more suffering than she had to. He wasn't really sure what would have appeared to his Neptunian Sister with her depth of experience beyond his, but he hadn't much desired to find out.

For his sake and hers.

It took a few minutes once he got there for him to really observe the changes. No more red lightning, for one; the weather outside actually looked pleasant, and a part of him was curious though he was prioritizing those within. For another, the room didn't really feel like it needed a system of lights anymore; everything felt and looked brighter, and it was beautiful because of all of them. Abzu found himself even more thankful his actions had preserved the ancient history of the tapestry behind it. Perhaps he'd go look, later.

He hadn't gotten much chance to look around when he arrived, but it appeared what faces he recognized were there and safe. He caught Daphne, first, and noticed she was embroiled in conversation with some other senshi. He opted to leave her alone, then.

It didn't seem that anyone was hurt, or at least hurt so significantly it would send them to the hospital. That was good. He didn't want to deal with anything like that himself, but it also supported that they were all better together, that they had all worked together as a unit to create what was in front of them. And it was something he didn't know was possible until that day. Solaris would be delighted -- was delighted, and he could tell when he caught her chattering excitedly at a distance. Good. This was good. These alien worlds could become what they were supposed to be once again. All of them, perhaps, and Abzu's mind grinned at the possibilities. Did Almadel have a world like this? Could it be repopulated too, because he was also intriguing--

He was getting horrifically ahead of himself. Didn't even know if there was any way for the dead to come back at all.

For his part, he shot a smile in Alastor's direction and a salute, before going to relax and enjoy the sights for a bit.

And maybe think about what he'd tell Pendour--

Eternal Sailor Adria

The confession was a little alarming but he held onto her tightly. It couldn’t have hurt him too much because he gave it his best effort to support her with everything he could.

“I know,” he said softly. Emotions didn’t have to make sense, he knew she didn’t hate him. Whatever she had seen, whatever she had been through–he could see how much of a burden it had put on her. “I’m sorry, Daphne. Is there anything I can do to help?”

He could just stand there and hold her until she felt better. He could tell she was tired, so he added, “We can sit down if you want. Or we can stand here, you can lean against me. But if there’s anything I can do, please let me know. You mean a lot to me, too.”

Which wasn’t exactly what she said, but he figured that if she hated everything but him, it had to count for something.

Alastor took a moment to look around the room, to take in the faces and memorize them.

“I owe you all a great deal. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to repay it in full, but I’d like to try. I don’t think this is the last chaos I’ll ever take part in destroying, so the offer stands that if you ever find yourself in need of assistance, I hope you’ll keep me in mind.”

He was confident that his world was safe. It felt different–in a way it hadn’t in a very long time. He was going to make sure it stayed that way. He was going to do whatever he could to see that others could have this, too.

“I can’t offer much now, but I’d like to give you a token of gratitude. You’ve helped chase away the shadows on my world, so I hope I can help you chase away some of your own.”

From his subspace he pulled out a single candle, about a foot tall and three inches wide. The pillar candle was mostly black, but it had an iridescent teal sheen to it. It was decorated with the golden mandala insignia of Alastor on the front, and elegant golden patterns on the sides and back. Glass beads in various shades of blue, teal, and amber adorned the candle.

It was arguably overdecorated but then, so was everything on Alastor.

To him, it was more than a candle. It was a symbol of strength in the face of overwhelming darkness. He had candles like these–and many more recently made, and far less decorated–all over Alastor. These had been protecting his world before he came to Earth.

Now, he hoped it would protect them when they needed it, too.

And, what they couldn’t chase away with a little flame, he was ready to fight.

“I won’t keep you here any longer than you’d like to stay. I know it’s messy, but you’re welcome to stay here if you like. I’m going to make rounds and see where I can get started fixing this place up again, so I’ll be here for a while if anyone needs anything. You’ve given me your time, I’m more than happy to give you mine. So, thank you. Again. For all of this. I hope I can be there to help you like you’ve helped me.”

Quote:
Thank you to everyone who participated! Everyone who attended can leave with a gift from Alastor; they helped chase away the shadows of his world and he wants to repay the favor in any way he can. You can either handwave receiving it from him or picking it up off a table before your character leaves if you’d like to take one!

When lit, the candle burns brightly and if you look deeply enough into the flame, it burns with a shimmer that makes it appear as if the fire has small specks of glitter in it. The candle has no real fragrance but smells faintly of rain; the flame is resilient against wind and water and takes a bit of effort to actually put out. The candle is long lasting and if left to burn can last for about two weeks straight.

Please let me know if you want any follow up roleplay! Alastor will be working on cleaning up his world and is interested and eager to help others who are having problems with any sort of chaos he might be able to help with. He is interested in meeting other Deep Space Senshi or catching up with anyone who helped him on his world! He wants to do his part to repay them for helping him and is enthusiastic about eradicating chaos as a whole.

Everyone is welcome to stay on Alastor for a while if they would like any follow up roleplays there or if they would like to explore a bit now that the chaos is gone, but your character can leave whenever they are ready. You

This roleplay can stay open if you want to keep writing, but this post can also count as an exit if you or your character are ready! Sailor Daphne

"I'll sit," she said, although she didn't move, not right away. She stood for a few more seconds, just leaning on him, just taking in his warmth and his presence.

Then she shifted enough to slump into one of the overly decorative chairs. "For a while. I think I'm going to go back soon. I just wanted to check on you." Her eyes, tired as they were, never left his face.

"You're who I have, here," she said, and she sniffled once before she mostly regained her composure. "You're who I have who's real."

"I'll tell you the rest later, just," she sucked in a breath, "Yeah."

Super Sailor Perdita

Perdita put her attention on Alastor when he spoke, but turned right back to Oberon after. She took her hand from his, but only so she could step forward to wrap her arms around him in a hug. It was a bit loose and awkward — she wasn’t used to hugging very many people — but she hoped it was reassuring.

“I’m fine,” she told him. “I promise. Barely even hurt.”

Just a bit muddy and damp. Nothing a shower and some warm clothes wouldn’t fix, which they could take care of as soon as they got back to her apartment.

“Why don’t we check on your brothers and then head out?” she suggested.

She would’ve loved to explore more now that it was safe to do so, but she had a feeling Oberon would benefit more from some rest.

Guardian Cat Lucasta

Lucasta remained where she was among the crowd for quite some time, observing others, but staying out of their business — for the most part, anyway; she couldn’t help that she was able to overhear some things, but she refrained from butting in. She thought it might be best to let some people have their feelings in peace.

Ganymede was occupied; Valhalla remained with her, as always. Alastor and Sessrumnir seemed well enough, considering what they must have been through. Ephesus seemed to be in an emotional state, but that wasn’t anything new. He had Amarynthos with him, and Lysithea, who was hugging him. Or hugging him back, more likely.

Lucasta made her way closer, but did not invade their space or draw attention to herself. Instead, she found a comfortable enough spot to curl up and wait for her various humans to decide when it would be appropriate to take their leave.

Princess Ganymede

Ganymede didn’t appear to mind the interruption at all. She was used to the attention — the awe of some of her allies, and occasionally the derision. The hatred and the promise of pain from her enemies, too. She’d had long enough now to understand that, while she didn’t necessarily desire power and influence, some people would always look to her for answers, for guidance. Sometimes that meant simple conversation. Sometimes it meant more.

“I’m Ganymede,” she introduced herself in return.

It concerned her that Solaris seemed to be having trouble with her memory. Ganymede, often lost to her own memories, recognized the look on Solaris’ face fairly well. She wondered if it had to do with the circumstances which must have brought her to Earth. There were things Alastor hadn’t remembered upon arriving — or hadn’t wanted to remember.

Ganymede didn’t like to make assumptions, but by the non-Eternal wings, the sheen of her skin, and how Solaris spoke… Ganymede was certain she was like Alastor, Ymir, and Surtur.

“There are several of us on Earth. Myself, Ida,” Ganymede continued, gesturing with a shallow nod of her head toward the other Princess in the room. “Castor still shows his face sometimes. Iris and Polaris I haven’t seen in quite a long time. We might still be able to get in touch with Camelot. He’s a Royal Knight. There may be others, their starseeds just… might not be ready yet. In this life and the last, I’ve had this power, but I don’t know that it’s always a guarantee. Whether or not any of us were political royalty at any point in our existence doesn’t seem to have much bearing on it.”

She thought back, tried to remember the things Liesel had learned, everything he’d been told about his existence, but she couldn’t always dredge up the correct memories. Especially now, so soon after confronting an imitation of Serge, it was his image that came to mind most easily.

“We can eradicate Chaos, to an extent, at least to purify those who’ve been infected by it,” she said. “If you’re ever in need of help, I’d be happy to. I’m sure Ida would, too.”

She would say the same for the others, but she knew less of them, and hadn’t seen them recently enough to feel confident speaking for them.

Sailor Mira/SUper Senshi of Sugar

Mira had just been sitting there against the wall resting. She was listening to all the conversations but had decided she needed some time to think. So she didn't engage in any of them. She had a lot to think about, and all she wanted to do was rest her mind. Then she heard Alastor begin to speak and tried to sit up as best she could with her tired body.

Mira listened as the closing speech began and was so happy she was able to make a real difference here. That was always her dream to help those that needed help, be it through baking or through her Senshi side. She just wanted to make some sort of difference.

She slowly got up from sitting against the wall and walked toward the table. One foot in front of the other she tried to keep her head clear just for a moment, with no thoughts of the shadows for now.

As she arrived at the table she looked toward Alastor and said, "If you ever need my help again I'd be happy to lend a hand! oh, and thank you for the wonderful gift I will cherish it." She smiled and slowly picked up the candle and put it somewhere safe.

As soon as finished tucking it away for travel, she smiled and got ready to head home. It was about time she took some time off and maybe took a family vacation. They could go somewhere with lots of shopping for her mother and a place where her dad could look for new baking supplies. As soon as she got home. Just at the thought, she smiled as she headed home ready to see the people she loved most in this world.

Eternal Sailor Adria

Adria stayed by Daphne and held her for as long as she needed; he didn’t mind taking a moment to collect himself, either. He had enough strength to support himself and her, even if he was leaning against her a bit while they stood there. When she sat, he sat, and he nodded understandingly.

“I’m sorry, Daphne. We can talk when you’re ready, you don’t have to tell me anything now. I just want you to be okay.”

Whatever she’d seen, he could see how heavily it weighed on her, and his heart was heavy with grief for his friend.

“I don’t know if I’m going to head to the hospital after this or anything, I think Lysithea did a good job healing me up but I’ll check when I get somewhere more private. But I don’t think we’ll stay for much longer either. I don’t know. But if you get home before me, just take care of yourself, okay? I’ll come check on you when I get in. If you want.”

He didn’t want to crowd her if she needed time alone, but he was still learning about what she needed to do for herself when she was grieving, or healing, or processing.

Sailor Solaris

There was a sheepish relief that her laps in memories, and her growing ire with it, wasn’t (at least that she could tell) frowned upon. She wasn’t too proud to hide away such problems—why bother? She’d rather get the information she was missing. But that didn’t keep her pride from stinging a little at having to acknowledge she didn’t just… have all the knowledge and strengths she’d once felt so confident in.

Well. Maybe not knowledge. She’d lacked a great amount of that for a long time…

Immediately, she filed away the name Ganymede to jot down. She did that a lot these days. A reflex to not forget.

Her gaze followed the direction the Princess motioned towards, and again, Solaris’ brows rose. Another figure with large wings..? She held her question a moment, listening to the quick explanation. Multiple existed—names she didn’t recognize, but more to note. A Royal Knight?

They could eradicate Chaos..?

A few too many questions bubbled on her lips. She started with the first two that meant the most to her. "You… both have wings. I know Solarians weren’t the only winged species, by far, but…" Her question trailed, unsure how to voice it respectfully. The coincidence that both Royal Senshi were from winged species felt… So she asked instead, "Are… you both by chance, from Earth?"

"And… sorry, what do you mean, purify those infected?"

Kaefaux

Once he was sure it was alright, he gave a gentle scritch behind the Mauvian's ears.

"Well," Hawara began, "it has what I fondly call the 'therapy dungeon'?" he gave a soft laugh before elaborating, "There's a room that, if you just walk in to it normally, it's just a big labyrinth, but when you pair it with these lock-box things and activate the safe room, it draws from the person's mind to build a kind of.... Well, the best way I can describe it is like a very realistic-but-dream-logic virtual reality puzzle game."

He liked puzzles. He wasn't great at games, but enjoyed solving things, so he has some experience playing some niche psychological horror puzzle games, and the description checked out. Honestly though, some of those game developers would be throwing in the towel at some of the 'level designs' the labyrinth of Hawara could create.

" It works you through whatever issue you have going on mentally, emotionally, have suppressed, whatever, and it doesn't fix your issues, but helps you confront them and come to terms with things and figure out things you didn't even realize you need to work on about yourself. It....helps you break free of those chains. It is horrifying while you're going through it. Definitely like being in a horror game and a nightmare all at once. Things don't always make sense, but at the same time the do? The landscape, the mindscapes it creates..." He shook his head.

Hawara could look back on his experiences in the labyrinth with a wierd sort of fondness now, but at the time it wasn't so great. But that breath of freedom afterwards was euphoric.

"I would like to offer it as a safe place for people to come to find help for their inner demons. You can only tell a psychologist on earth so much, definitely not about the war or anything. I'm personally not qualified to offer help in the traditional sense, but this is what I've got. It's not everyone's cup of tea, I'm sure, but it's an option for those looking for one."

A lifetime ago he had a deep interest in psychology. He'd studied for a career path in that area. His life then got turned upside-down and now his course was set in another direction, but there was still that connection. Now he was in a place in his life where he could help others. He was eager to do so.

Princess Ganymede

“Yes,” Ganymede said simply enough. A small smile twitched onto her face, but it might have been difficult to interpret. Even she wasn’t as in tune with her own thoughts and emotions as she used to be. Maybe she was amused. Maybe there was some sadness in her, hidden away beneath the curve of her smile. “Most of us here have been born on Earth, Ida and myself included. I don’t know that there’s a Senshi or Knight who’s been born anywhere else in hundreds of years. There are others like Alastor — and you, if you’ll excuse the assumption — who’ve come here from off-world, but other than that…”

Space was vast, but mostly empty — at least as far as any of them were aware. There were warnings, occasionally, rumors of other things out there, but Ganymede couldn’t say for certain what those things were. A part of her didn’t want to believe in many outside dangers. They had enough trouble on Earth as it was.

“These wings come with the power,” Ganymede continued to explain. “More for decoration than functionality, I think, but with some practice we can make minor use of them.

“As for purification… I don’t know how much you know of Earth.” Ganymede paused for a moment, expression a bit creased with concern. She hated to think of any Senshi wandering around Earth, unaware of the dangers. “The Chaos there is different from what we fought here. Most of it can be attributed to Metallia, who has the Negaverse to do her bidding. The rest exists as the Dark Mirror Court, though I think we know less about them and what powers them. Some of those who've been poisoned by Metallia occasionally seek a way out. I have the power to help them do that, by purifying their corrupted starseed. I assume the same could be true for a Senshi of the Dark Mirror, but I haven’t personally been involved with any of them to know for sure.”
