Hy led the way down the creaky and almost dodgy wooden stairs to the bottom floor. It was the only other place in the house that could be considered secluded from the others in the house what with the rest of the group in the combined front bedrooms and Drayson in the back one. If people wanted to listen in, then so be it. She doubted anything said here would be that important. As long as their captive didn’t hear anything she didn’t much care. That was why she chose the front room where the beaten sofa sat haphazardly shoved against a side wall. There was no chance Aelius would hear them here.
She eyed the couch for a moment, but opted to lean against one of the free walls, arms crossed in an almost lazy manner. Graffiti of an eyeball peered over her shoulder in neon spray paint. She paid it no mind as she looked at Solaris. The senshi had requested to talk and Hy was willing to listen. Some people, she knew, were more timid in larger groups to voice opinions. Or simply they wanted to rehash things or get more info on their own.
They had the time to spare right now and it gave those left behind some time to discuss topics amongst themselves.
“So, what did you want to talk about?” She questioned softly as she watched the Deep Space Senshi. Hy couldn’t help note how Solaris could pass as human even without glamour if it wasn’t for the wings. Hell, even the pointed ears could pass and be brushed off as a cosmetic appearance changed.
“The quieter we talk, the less likely anyone else will hear if that’s a priority of yours.”

Kyrie really didn't trust that most Earth-born Order had a lick of an idea to what they were doing, and it genuinely concerned her. They knew enough to survive, to (mostly) not get snagged by Chaos... some were better than others, absolutely. They seemed more able to try and plan, organize the others together, strengthen each other. It sounded like that was on the rise, which was good. But in her (biased) view? It wasn't enough yet. It bothered the s**t out of her that she actually almost envied the Negaverse's military organization, from what she'd seen.
Almost. It gave them one (1) point of respect against a negative nine-billion, plus some, and that count was just from one proverbial file out of many.
It was why she was so damn surprised by what she'd walked into chasing down the grapevine. It was impressive, to a slight degree. The lack of extensive planning, though... well. She was back into the concerned territory.
She followed Hy-Brasil back downstairs, her mind tumbling lightly over the situation. Info on a whim, a kidnapping of someone close to a very dangerous target... she respected the concept, but the lack of any Royal senshi around them now tipped the scales in a very harsh manner and that nagged at her.
Stepping into the... whatever the room had once been, she cast a skeptical glance at the couch, Solaris stood a respectful distance from the Earth knight as the other took up a spot on the wall. The little catalyst emblems in her dangling earrings clinked softly as she shook her head, and her wings twitched and resettled against her back.
"Don't think that'll matter. I wanted to check with how you're doing." Her head tilted somewhat as she watched the red-head. "Especially with how the conversation was going up there. It's heavy. Not doubting if you can handle it--" Well. Actually. She was, but anyway-- "--but you alright?"

Blue eyes watched the senshi for a moment. She hadn't been expecting a question like that one. In truth, she had anticipated a telling off or a much kinder sort of interrogation of what the hell was the prompt to all of this. But, instead she was being offered kindness.
She sighed, dipping her head forward, red hair slipping over her shoulders. "Better than some." A bit of a cop-out response, but not a lie. She had the feeling that some who had got entangled in this were more anxious and worried than herself.
"I am not sure what I expected to come out of this exactly. But to kill a man and really gain nothing from all of the work put into getting him and holding him feels..." Hy struggled to come up with the right word. Inconvenient? Pointless? Discouraging... "Wasteful."
That worked well enough she supposed.
"There's no one else ot blame but myself though. I should have planned better. I am not going to fault anyone else for my mistakes made here."

Her lips pressed together, an empathetic hum coming at the knight's response. It was enough, coupled with her body language, and Solaris felt a kernel of sympathy for her. Especially with the drive that pushed her to do this--it was understandable, and that was perhaps the worst of all this.
"You don't always get the leisure of full planning, some things are just opportunity and trying to scramble to fill in the blanks quickly as you can after." But there was the problem, Hy hadn't fully done that. Still, she gave the woman credit where it was due. "Take it as a lesson for next time," she added with a lit to her voice, an attempt at humor that was hollow even to her ears.
She glanced down to the blue metal rings and bracelet on her left hand, running her thumb over the feather-like patterns. "I agree though, on it being wasteful. At least his starseed will go back to the Cauldron. May he have a far better life in the next."
She didn't look back at the knight as she asked, in a quieter tone, "Who else knows you two took him? Can you lay low for a while?"

Hy forced a smile at the flat attempt of humor from Solaris. They both knew she had ******** up and nothing she did here would fix that now. "My distaste and hate for the negaverse and Faustite fueled me. I am not proud of it." She sighed through her nose.
"It is a hard lesson learned." She agreed.
At the mention to his starseed returning to the cauldron there was a small sense of achievement with that. If nothing else, whoever he was meant to be would have another chance. Whatever world he'd been a part of would get the opportunity to have its senshi whole. Perhaps they'd come back stronger and better because of it. If nothing else, he wouldn't be suffering at the hands of Metallia any longer.
"Hm? Oh. No one beyond who is here and I contacted directly about it. The chances of anything being slipped to the negaverse are slim. So, as long as we cover up our steps well, no one should be able to figure out his disappearance resulted in Celadon and myself taking him three nights ago."

"I can't blame you for that," she sighed, rubbing the back of her neck. "My encounter with Faustite was... bad. Extremely. I could have gotten other people hurt or worse because I picked a fight against a General before backup could get there. All to save a civilian." She gave a small shrug, offering Hy a dry smile. "So yeah. I get it. We just need to figure out better plans ahead of time now so we don't repeat our mistakes, yeah?"
The news about such a limited number of people knowing about this was a relief, and her shoulders slumped with a loss of some of their tension. "Oh good. I was nervous about other loose threads for a moment there. I mean, still am, still chances something could slip, but good. Still." She tilted her head again, lips pursing in thought. "You two should consider slipping away for a while after this. Least to try and gauge what response, if any, gets sparked from this."
Unless they had a tap into the Negaverse, though, she knew they'd likely never have a confident answer on that front.
"...your way about it was messy, but I'm impressed you two took the initiative like this."

"I've been fighting with Faustite since I was a page. Hm, squire maybe. We've come across each other multiple times for years now. I've been able to hold my own for the most part. Even despite lacking any magic that's offensive. But the last time..." She stopped. A pain flashed in her eyes. She looked down to try to mask the emotions. "A squire got killed in front of me. Faustite ripped out his starseed and fed it to his youma. Since then it's been an uphill battle."
She took in a deep breath. Eyes closed. Regaining her composure took a bit but when she looked back up at Solaris an anger replaced the hurt. "I believe we should be taking more measures to fight back instead of waiting in the wings."
At the mention again of hiding Hy scoffed. "I am not going to hide. The negaverse holds grudges. Faustite holds grudges. If word gets out of who has been involved, disappearing for a little while isn't going to save us from repercussions. It'll just prolong it.
"When I made this choice, I knew I was setting myself up to possibly be hunted." She'd never been under the illusion that this wouldn't paint a target on her back. She just regretted pulling Celadon into it like she had, but the girl had made her own decision on it. Hy had only presented her with the option.
"Thank you for being involved though. I appreciate the help I've gotten."

That was quite the track record. Solaris lifted a brow, somewhat impressed by the longevity of that hate. But the loss she'd witnessed... was something she could at least sympathize with. She'd lost plenty long before she felt they should have gone, but she hadn't yet dealt with someone's starseed being lost. The squire wouldn't have the chance to return to the Cauldron, like the hostage upstairs would. It was a sickening thought, and she could only let out a heavy sigh through her nose.
She wondered, though, if it really mattered if it was specifically the two knights that Faustite got his hands on or not, in his book. Or if anyone from Order would do as targets for his rage and flames. At least Hy-Brasil wasn't ignorant to the far reaching impact this whole situation would likely have, just from Faustite alone. "You know what you're in for, at least. Hopefully you can keep others from also becoming targets with you, after this." It wasn't said with malice--Solaris' expression was still one of sympathy. She genuinely did hope no one from Hy's personal life got pulled in or targeted after this, that the target stay on her to deal with. Well, her and the other knight, really.
A slight smile lit her face briefly, and she only nodded somewhat. "Curiosity got me into it on this, I stepped in willingly. But I'm with you--we need to be fighting back against Chaos, not just waiting for their strikes. Just a bit difficult right now to... know exactly what sort of power, aid, and whatnot we can rely on. Makes pinning down stronger plans... well. Difficult. Not impossible, though, to fix that. I think you were going in the right direction to do that." Just... maybe more planning involved next time...

They could have walked away the instant they saw what was happening." while Hy didn't want anyone else to get hurt, she couldn't control everything. If they were found out, every single one of them were possibly presenting themselves as public enemy number one. At least to the monster of a General King. Hy knew herself the ability that thing had when it came to grudges. Hell, she was likely just as bad when it came to him.
A huff of a sigh. "Yes. Yes. I know I should have gone into this more prepared. Mistakes were made and I am hopeful that we can rectify this before things turn upside down. So far, with so few people knowing about this, we should be fine."
"I believe a decision has been made." She chewed on her bottom lip. There was an uneasiness with that decision, but Hy couldn't override the logic behind it. Plus, if this meant keeping everyone here safe well then, sending a starseed back to the cauldron was a kinder action than the negaverse would do to all of them.
"Plans just need to be settled. I want to make sure we get whatever information we can out of him first. Make all of this trouble worth it."
"But...it does mean something to know that you agree with me. Order needs to stop reacting and step up. Even if it's just a small group of us that get the ball moving. Things will just need to be done carefully to help mitigate any difficulties."

Solaris didn't feel the need to specify she'd meant people outside those gathered here tonight, but did wince slightly at the notion of people trying to drag more info out of the guy. Not for the notion itself, but uh. "I'm not much of an interrogator, so hopefully someone else here's got that skill." She glanced upwards, as if towards the other knights and senshi. Probably some of the other alien types were more up to the task..?
Still, she offered Hy a smile. "We need to figure out who else is on that same page--and then find a safer way to meet and discuss ideas." Preferably somewhere where a collection of Order signatures wouldn't have a high risk of attracting unwanted attention. "Already have some faces here you can query on that front. If anyone's got some more powerful friends they can rope in... the better."
She knew trying to actually make any big plans now would be useless, so she summoned her senshi phone from subspace, poking at it a bit before glancing back to the knight. "Mind if I snap your photo? Least then I can reach out later and we can discuss more about... all of this."

Solaris was right. They had a small group now that could be the beginning of a bigger one that was inclined to actually do than continue to react. If each person knew at least one other who was like-minded well, then, it would be a good start for them. The hardest thing would be getting everyone to agree to what exactly to do cause Hy wasn't under any notion to think everyone would be willing to follow a single leader on this. "Yes, and I intend to reach out to them in the future."
At the question about her picture, Hy shrugged. "Sure. I can receive messages via my signet so I'll be easy enough to get a hold of." Having Solaris's name would be enough for her, and the winged woman was certainly not someone that would be easily forgotten.
"We will have to meet up again at some point once all of this...business is taken care of." Business being the fated demise of the man cloistered upstairs. It wasn't her favorite choice, but it was the safest for them all. It also gave the man's starseed a chance to return to the cauldron and be reborn whole and pure again.
"It's probably best we don't take too much more time here." She sighed, obviously weary from the past few days and the recent talks.

Once given permission, Solaris snapped a quick photo of the Knight, her phone automatically filling in the necessary information to later contact her. "Pretty useful for senshi phones and signet rings to be able to work together." Or... something about once they were adjusted for it..? She needed to check into that again--knew Realta had mentioned it when they'd been speaking to that other knight but--
Putting her phone away, she could only offer Hy a sympathetic smile again. "Try to take a moment for yourself, if you can." She hesitated slightly, unsure if the rest of her intended words were... well placed. Teeth clicking shut, she decided against her first course, figuring those were thoughts best left for another time. Instead, she inclined her head in quiet departure. "Look forward to chatting again," was offered as farewell as the Solarian turned to take her leave, heading back through the room to head up the creaky stairs.
The worst of the night was still waiting to unfold, and she was grimly grateful they could at least bring him off-world as an option...
