This roleplay is optional for anyone participating in Alastor’s Into the Shadows plot! All participating characters will ICly be present for this ORP so even if a player does not post in this thread, their character will still have all of the information presented here. When this ORP closes (in approximately five days) there will be an OOC summary with all of the information to participate in Part 2 of the plot. The next plot-relevant post will come Monday the third at ~8PM. Characters who were specifically invited can arrive and any Order character who might have felt a call to action and responded to the summoning of Alastor’s world. If your character has not met Alastor or anyone affiliated with him, they can still participate! ICly this event takes place on the evening of Saturday, October 22nd and lasts for only a few hours. Players can still sign up through October 2nd, but after that point anyone interested in joining will need to contact me directly to see what we can work out! If you are participating in this roleplay, please make sure to include your character's name at the top of their post!

In Destiny City, it was a calm, seasonal Saturday evening.

On Alastor, a suffocating haze of Chaos smothered the world.

Eternal Sailor Alastor had been hard at work. In the past few months especially, he’d been researching Chaos and making what connections he could. He knew he was going to need help destroying the sickness that swallowed up his world, and he had been fortunate to find it on Earth.

Earlier in the night, he’d sent out messages to those he knew to inform him that he was moving forward with his plan. It wasn’t much information, but he promised to have more for them.

Now, he intended to follow through on that promise.

There was no obligation to join him on Alastor, but each and every one of them would feel the tug of a world calling for aid–

And, his world called more than Alastor could anticipate.

It wasn’t enough that he had gone out of his way to find allies, to secure aid, his world was desperate. What reservations Alastor might have had, his world did not, and the invitation extended to anyone that would listen.

It was a simple tug, like a voice in the back of your mind, calling for help. It was an outstretched hand, waiting for you.

And, if you took the hand, you were whisked away in a shimmer of golden light, drawn to The Hall of the Ancients.

Gone was the familiar warmth of Destiny City, replaced with a cold, electric atmosphere, and a heavy, chaotic pressure as the evil on the world rebelled.

They were safe in the Hall. For now.

Once, it might have been an impressive structure, but now it was aged and worn down by time. Though there was a chill in the air, brightly burning torches lined the walls, fixed in place with elegant black sconces. While everything in the room seemed old and weathered, a Mauvian spotlight was out of place in its newness; it spread a wave of bright light across the room to cover what corners the fire couldn’t.

From the center of the lobby, they could see the white stone interior, and the gilded marble floors, and blue and teal mosaics. Long hallways would have either led them outside, or deeper into the Hall, but all of the doors were currently closed and bolted.

The outside of the building was far more menacing than the interior–an onyx citadel with spires so sharp they looked ready to pierce the sky.

Lightning flashed, sometimes white, sometimes red, through the windows. Aside from a few large panels specifically designed to let light in, most of the windows were stained glass. Beautiful, intricate shapes in blue and teal and green lit up with each flash of lightning, and while it might have been beautiful in the daylight, now it just cast an eerie glow across the room. It was clearly storming, but there was an eerie silence outside.

The Hall of the Ancients was an overwhelming, intimidating structure. The high ceilings and narrow hallways gave an immediate sensation of being very small, and the sharp angles and deep shadows high above certainly gave the impression that danger could be hiding up above, watching. The architecture in the lobby was both strong and delicate; tall stone walls stretched towards the sky, and the very distant vaulted ceiling had been meticulously structured to replicate the planet’s symbol–a flower mandala–in gold. Bright, once. Faded, now. Water dripped into puddles on the floor but the damage seemed remarkably small considering the storm raging outside.

The lobby was clean, except for a bit of dust here and there. There were stairs up to two floors, and the rooms wrapped around the walls. A golden metal railing would have kept anyone from falling. There were three more floors above that, but no stairs to reach them.

The gothic architecture was only somewhat softened by the colorful tiles and carefully constructed artwork that hung on the lower floor. Everything was color coordinated, even now. Alastor was a tasteful planet who admired strength and combat--a good mix of elegance and brutality.

Someone had gone through great lengths to make the lobby more accomodating. It had everything it should have–chairs, and bright rugs, and paintings along the walls. All perfectly in place, as if he might have expected visitors any day now. It had fountains, but the water had run dry. It had plants, but they were withered and dead. The statues and paintings might have been a bit dusty, but overall they were well-maintained. There was something haunted about the emptiness in the room; it was easy to imagine that it had once been bustling with life.

Now, figures were rapidly populating it.

Alastor stood at the front of the large room, but he had no particular platform to speak. He stood with his hands on his hips and wore a stony expression as he looked around the room, or up to the ceiling. The Eternal Senshi seemed a bit grim, but that wasn’t as interesting as the glowing streaks of gold and white light in his hair and lining his uniform.

His aura was the same as it had always been; he had the blessing of his world in this endeavor and it was clear that he wasn’t the only one willing to give everything to make this right.

With him already, two Mauvians--Lucasta and Soleiyu, four Knights--Knight Valhalla and Sessrumnir of Jupiter, and Squires Ephesus and Amarynthos of the Moon, and three more Eternal Senshi--Ganymede, Lysithea, and Cybele.
PostPosted: Sat Oct 01, 2022 7:48 pm

Sessrumnir, Knight of Jupiter

Sessrumnir remained close to Alastor, arms crossed over his chest. He was trying to not be imposing, since there was enough heaviness in the air already. He kept his eyes away from everyone, instead looking at the stained glass, watching as lightning flashed across the colors. Or he glanced over to make sure Amarynthos and Ephesus were okay. Or maybe making sure no one tried wandering where they shouldn’t.

“Someone’s going to complain that there aren’t any refreshments,” Sessrumnir scoffed quietly to himself, and to Alastor who was close enough to hear him. “I guess the Core would rather be safe than sorry,” he added, nodding to the larger group of people showing up than they’d anticipated. Some of them seemed ready to do whatever they could to help. Others looked lost and confused.

He hoped they would stay in a safe place, then. They didn’t need to fight if they were too afraid to face Chaos. Somehow, Sessrumnir doubted they got the memo on what they were even there for.

Hawara, Transcended Knight of Uranus

A not-too-unfamiliar pull beckoned him, and remembering the promise he'd made to the 'alien' senshi he's met some nights ago, Hawara answered it, taking the chance that his assumptions were wrong, but pleased to find he was right. The knight of Uranus might have taken time to more closely take in the sights of the hall if not for the sobering knowledge that this was not a leisurely visit. And that was to say nothing of the weight of the Chaos around them.

Hawara may not have done much socializing amongst his fellow members of Order, but there was a face or two he recognized. While he wasn't sure whether or not that was comforting, he had no intentions of letting that complicate an already complicated situation. He hoped, after all was done and dusted, to come out of this with, not only success for Alastor, but some positive connections. Of course, ridding Alastor's world of Chaos was the first priority.

The knight took in a breath and a few paces towards Alastor, but a respectable distance still between him, the senshi, and the senshi's....entourage. Hawara had promised his aid to the senshi, and he stood by his words that 'one person's chaos problem could soon be everyone's chaos problem.' But now, what words could he give that weren't superfluous, when an earnest nod of greeting would suffice? He merely wanted to ensure Alastor that he was here, and had every intention to assist is ridding the Chaos from a world that had been plagued with it for so long.

Where other worlds had succumb and fallen to Chaos, the worlds of these alien senshi somehow fought, holding their soul protectors captive in time. To him, it felt like some sort of honor to be here despite the danger that he knew awaited them.

Maybe some of what they learned here in combating Chaos could help them on Earth as well? Hawara wasn't going to go quite that far in his modest well of hopes. While he wanted Chaos gone, there was also a part of him that also held on to the balance theory, and another that wondered what might come to fill in the void of the current Chaos on Earth when one day they did pry Metallia's claws off of it.

He had many conflicting thoughts and theories. He discounted none, and didn't putt all his metaphorical eggs in the basket of just one, either. Some may view it as wishy-washy, as lacking conviction. Hawara preferred to view it as being open-minded. Holding staunchly to one view could be dangerous. It could be the shackles that bind you to a sinking ship. However he, a Knight of Uranus, a spirit as free as the wind itself, could not be bound.

Valhalla, Transcended Knight of Jupiter

Valhalla stayed close to Ganymede for the most part. But when people started arriving and it was obvious that there were more than intended, he went to try and at least ease some of their concerns.

“Good to see you again. It’s been a while,” Valhalla greeted Hawara. He’d been present when he was purified, and Valhalla was always relieved to see people he’d met before from years past.

It seemed as though Hawara had bonded enough with his Wonder to be granted transcendence as well. It wasn’t always easy to have a life on Earth and to make sure the bond remains strong with one’s World or Wonder, but he hoped the result would be worth the extra sacrifice. It certainly wasn’t reasonable for everyone to have the same time to focus on traveling to space as others, so he never considered it better to be transcended or not.

Ephesus, Squire of the Moon

Ephesus sat on the edge of one of the dried up fountains next to Amarynthos, trying not to fidget too much. Alastor and Sessrumnir trusted them to stay out of trouble, but to also help however they could. And right now he was trying to stay out of the way.

There were a lot of people there. He didn’t know most of them, and it was a little overwhelming to see so many appearing all at once.

But it was a good thing! Maybe this meant that they would have a chance to really take care of the Chaos with no issues! He was still a little shaken up by what they’d witnessed on the monitors, but he was doing his best to not think about it and just held Amarynthos’ hand instead.

Sailor Surtur
Quote:
Note: Surtur is a DSS, but does not have any physical features that would make him obviously not from Earth. DSS do not have different auras from normal Earth Senshi. He is not revealing that he is a DSS at this time.

He didn’t like the feeling that came with this place. He knew this feeling, even if it was different from what he recognized from his own World. He wasn’t sure what he would have preferred -- shadows or the mist.

“Beautiful architecture. Just exquisite,” he admired as he tipped his head back at the flower mandala that was centered in the vaulted ceiling.

“I am glad to see that there are a good number of Senshi and Knights showing up to help destroy the Chaos from this world. Maybe there could be a chance for Earth after all,” he said to Ymir, although he didn’t exactly bother keeping his voice down.

“You were lucky you did not get stuck in that underground, Ymir. The plant creatures made it warm and moist and I did not enjoy it. Or maybe it was the heat trapped under there from the summer sun, I do not know. Regardless, it was unpleasant. We were lucky that those allied to Chaos hadn’t taken the opportunity to attack us. Very poor strategy in my opinion.”

Eternal Sailor Oberon

“Yeah, that’s Alastor,” Oberon sort of introduced Perdita to the man with his hands on his hips in what could have arguably been the front of the room. It was at least easy to pick him out because he had glowing streaks all over him like some weird Pollock inspired painting under a blacklight.

He kept his hands shoved into the pockets of his jacket as he looked around at the others arriving. Some old, some young. He nodded to the kids by the fountain.

“Haven’t heard the whole story yet, but Alastor adopted the light haired kid. Ah, did you know Knights from the Moon is a thing now? Crazy.”

Super Sailor Varuna

As usual, Varuna was quiet and kept to herself. Well… as much to herself as she felt was necessary to not be a burden on others. Adria and Malus didn’t seem to mind. And she was relieved that Palatine was there.

The Knight was the first one she greeted, by taking quick steps towards her and reaching to give her a quick hug.

“I might have friends,” she said quietly to the woman. She’d already told Palatine about the sweet Eternal Senshi named Adria, but she hadn’t had a chance to talk about the others. “I can introduce you to them if you would like.”

She didn’t know why she said it. Maybe she was more excited than she seemed about people wanting her around. She wasn’t exactly the most fun to have, and she was always very serious when it came to helping animals, so maybe people just thought she was boring or mean.

Eternal Sailor Ganymede

Ganymede stayed where she was near Sessrumnir and Alastor while Valhalla went to play diplomat. He was better at that than she was, with his friendly smile and pleasant attitude. Ganymede wouldn’t even be able to force it now, much less make a genuine show of it. Chaos was close and heavy. The past was there, too, just along the periphery.

She made an effort to push her feelings aside — the doubt and sadness that seemed ever-present these days. She watched the arrival of each familiar face and thought their presence should hearten her, but all she could think of were other faces she hadn’t seen in years. The faces she didn’t know stood out more. She wondered if they were prepared, if they knew anything of what to expect.

Chaos was powerful and deceptive. Every person here was in danger.

And yet, they’d all heeded the call anyway.

Ganymede took a fortifying breath. She kept her hands almost clasped together. Every few seconds, she ran her thumb along the glowing scar that cut across her right palm.

-------------------------------------

Guardian Cat Lucasta

Lucasta’s tail flicked behind her. Though she made every attempt not to let the unease affect her, she nonetheless found herself bristling with tension as more and more arrived. There were more than she expected. Perhaps the additional numbers would be a good thing. Lucasta would always insist that the White Moon was at their best when they all worked together.

The problem was that too many of them had differing opinions.

Chaos was a plague. There was no other choice but to destroy it. Tonight, perhaps, many of them would have their first taste of that.

Lucasta stationed herself near the main group and their gathering forces, but her eyes occasionally drifted over to the fountain Ephesus had claimed with Amarynthos — watchful, protective.

Quote:
Though Ymir is a Deep Space Senshi, he looks human and wouldn’t be distinguishable as a DSS by appearance alone.

Sailor Ymir

Ymir inched closer to Surtur as several others arrived around them, casting his gaze here and there in a search for anyone he may have once known. No one stood out, and so he made no effort to draw attention to himself.

“If any of these people could save Earth, they would have done so already,” he mumbled quietly in response.

Ymir did not have high hopes. He didn’t even care that much. His own world meant very little to him; it was the source of his power and nothing more. He didn’t even know why he came here, except that he found himself curious about others like him.

He’d thought his own survival had been a fluke. Now, he wasn’t so sure. Between himself and Surtur, their brief encounter with another non-Earth Senshi during their time on Astraya, and now Alastor, Ymir had to wonder if there might actually be some meaning to it all, some reason they were all still here.

“Ganymede did say some of these people are ignorant or misinformed,” he continued, leaning close enough that his voice was little more than a quiet breath in Surtur’s ear. “I doubt many of them know anything about good strategy.”

Not that Ymir could claim to. He left that sort of thing to those who were better versed in it.

Super Sailor Perdita

Perdita looked around with barely concealed fascination. It wasn’t often that she had the chance to visit other worlds. (Admittedly, she didn’t give as much time to her Senshi duties as she knew she should.) Until now, she’d only made a visit to her own world.

Unlike her own dead and barren moon, Chaos hung over Alastor like a thick blanket, almost suffocating in its intensity, though she felt relatively safe in the Hall.

She listened to Oberon speak, studied each person he pointed out, from Alastor to the little Moon Squire (Ephesus). She’d heard some of the story for Oberon already, given that he spent a lot more time with her now than he did before the ancient Senshi came to live with Sessrumnir, but she never tired of more information.

“What does it say about the Moon Kingdom that there were no Knights of the Moon before?” she wondered. There was no suspicion or accusation in her voice, just genuine curiosity. “What does it say about the Code that it made the decision for itself that there should be Knights of the Moon now? I suppose it doesn’t matter what any of the Moon royalty would think if they’re all dead and gone.”

-------------------------------------

Palatine, Knight of Venus

Palatine was intensely aware that she was out of place.

The longer she did this, the harder it was to ignore the relative youth of her allies. Even those she’d known over the decade since her awakening still seemed so young in comparison. Many of them were still full of hope.

Palatine was neither of those things.

She had a smile for Varuna, at least, but not much enthusiasm — pleased that Varuna had made friends, but unsure that her own presence was necessary among them. How was she supposed to relate to any of them? How were any of them supposed to relate to her?

“Of course,” she said anyway, unwilling to dash her niece’s happiness over her own misgivings.

Palatine didn’t even know what she was doing there, except that Sessrumnir had asked and she had just enough of a sense of duty to agree to help, even if the only help she had to offer was a bit of healing tea.

Guine
Sorry for the lame Palatine tag in particular. She's the most difficult to write since she hasn't had much IC development and idek what to do with her ever, and the child was fussing while I was doing it. gonk

Lysithea felt a wave of relief when she saw the other members of her team appear, and after a warm look at both Malus and Adria, she headed over to Varuna, so happy to see her.

“Varuna!” She reached out and touched her friend’s shoulder lightly, smiling. “I’m glad you’re here. I was hoping that you’d come…I see Malus and Adria…I feel so much better now that the whole court is together.”

She paused and glanced at the pink clad knight and held out a hand. “Hello! I’m Lysithea, Senshi of Unicorns…you know Varuna?”

She…almost looked like Varuna, honestly, though Varuna’s hair seemed to be a little bit lighter. She wondered if they were related but. “I’m so glad that you’re here, Ru. It’s always so good to see you, thank you for coming.” They were together…they could do this.

…They didn’t have much of a choice at this point but. They could do this.

Deep Space Selinur.

He'd felt the pull, somewhat familiar to him, and had accepted it's pull without much hesitation. Someone, or something, needed him and who was he to deny it? Who knows what he might learn, and do, by answering the call. Not to mention if he was being called so where others in all likelihood...and he needed allies, something which still was odd for him when he thought about it. His home planet, his people, had never made alliances outside of their own...and here he was needing to build alliances.

Arriving on the forigne planet was better than his landing on Earth, he wasn't wet this time, and for a moment he took the time to sort himself out before looking around. The place was beautiful but it was, in his opinion, far too over the top. He'd never been interested in this sort of thing. While the colors were nice, and they looked good together, it was still too much for the senshi of glaze. Rather than continuing to look about he decided to focus on everyone who was here...and the feeling of chaos.

This chaos wasn’t the same as on his planet but it was still chaos - a lot of it. It was a strong and heavy feeling...oppressive. Everyone around him seemed stronger than him, as far as he could tell, but that didn’t bother him. He was still older than most here and had experiences with chaos that the others here did not, though he knew they could say the same. He belonged here. Even as the weakest here, because the battle against chaos needed to be won and he would help in defeating it….he would be there for every defeat of chaos if he could. He would see it destroyed, and perhaps a new silver millennium if they were all lucky. The planets needed to unite again as they once had….and his planet needed to continue as it had…just in a safer for the environment way.

Stepping forward he found the senshi who owned this homeworld at the head of things, ready to take the lead, and nodded his head once. As he nodded his right arm crossed his chest so his hand rested, as a fist, over his heart. “Alastor, a pleasure to see you again.” He didn’t say more, he didn’t need to, he was obviously here to help. These other people..most of them he’d never seen before and didn’t know. He assumed, and hoped, they were all ready for the task. This chaos had been here a long time and had taken that time to gain strength no doubt. It wouldn’t want to leave here.

Solaris is a DSS that has alien features, and is easily recognized as not from Earth

Sailor Solaris

After she'd gotten the message from Alastor, she'd taken up a spot on a jungle gym in a park, waiting for when it'd be time to finally go. Now and then, she looked down at the phone cradled in her hands, flicking on the screen to re-read the message. Yes, it was exactly as it'd been before. No, none of the information was different than what she'd already read. It was the first time in a while she'd been so excited, to the point of just being blatantly impatient. Exhaling, she looked skyward once more.

Realta sat beside her, the senshi having convinced her to come along. The Mauvian wasn't sure the invitation allowed a plus one, but she humored her.

When she felt that pull, Solaris beamed. "Ah, there it is! Okay, time to go!" Hopeful, she scooped up the Savannah, whose tail had puffed up.

"Hold on, are you referring to that... pull? Solaris, I feel that as well, are you sure--"

"Even better!" Solaris just laughed, intrigued to why the Mauvian also felt the call. Wasn't it just the people Alastor called..?

As the golden light enveloped them, she could just barely hear the feline hiss before they were lifted away from the jungle gym. For Solaris, it felt similar to how she'd first arrived on Earth, a ride through space filled with blinding light. Soon enough, her heels touched down on solid ground again, and she beamed, giving the Mauvian a quick kiss on the head before setting her down. Marveling at the Hall, she took a slow turn, taking in the rather remarkable state of the building. "Gilded glamour, through and through," she said, giving a low whistle. The stained glass in particular kept catching her eyes--and the poor plants. It was clear he'd prepped it for people to arrive--though she was surprised at just how many people were here. All the better though, in her book. None of them would have lost their worlds and people if they'd been able to just rid the worlds of Chaos on their own.

She wandered towards Alastor, her head turning this way and that to take in the expanse of the Hall. "Feels really good to be out here," she told him warmly once she got close enough. To those around him, she offered a smile and simple wave. "Sailor Solaris, nice to meet you all." A dark brow quirked up as she eyed the Jovian Knight (Sessrumnir) near Alastor though, recalling bits of their conversations eons ago. A storm, huh?

Mauvian Realta

She did not, at all, care that this senshi was over a thousand years old. She was a child. Realta, her tail puffed up and lashing side to side, stood glaring after Solaris once she'd been set down. Sure, her attention was quickly diverted, staring about the massive building they'd been teleported to. The lack of sound as she could see lightning flashing outside made her frown--well-insulated, or something else? That Solaris just walked off baffled the feline. This place deserved more than a whistle, stars above...

But there were a variety of people here, some Realta had seen before, and some that were quite new. And a whole new set of uniforms..? The Mauvian's eyes went wide as she began to trot towards a young pair of knights (Amarynthos and Ephesus) at one of the old fountains. "I beg your pardon, but... I'm sorry, are you... knights of the Moon?" Her eyes scanned their uniforms, the clear-cut symbols boggling her. She couldn't recall for the life of her ever even hearing about one before.

Transcendent Eternal Sailor Encke & Mauvian Viatrix

Encke and Viatrix had both been expecting the pull.

They had been serious when they had volunteered their help without any real hesitance. Encke's goals had always been wrapped up in the restoration of space for the multitude of beneficial reasons it provided, and to help people who had survived in space for this long wasn't an exception.

Viatrix, for her part, had committed to that purpose the moment she learned who her bonded had become and committed to it even deeper once she met the Velencians, once she met her children like Dagon--

(Was Dagon her actual child? No, of course not. But Viatrix was concerned over her anyway, and she was convinced every senshi she claimed as hers were hers. She took responsibility for them not because anyone asked but because it was personal, because she cared, because she wanted them to thrive, because--)

"I'm used to lightning through the air like this," murmured Encke, leaning toward Basiluzzo and the Mauvian that was standing at her full height between the two of them. "That's looking pretty eerie, though."

Viatrix glanced up, observing the patterns in the ceiling moreso than she was listening. It took a moment before she let her eyes wander to what was lighting up the other side of the stained glass windows, and she frowned. "This planet is filled with chaos, isn't it? That's the impression I got from the way Alastor talked." She sucked on her bottom lip, before looking back to the ceiling, puffing her chest out confidently in the process. "But we're here to end that."

Maybe she was overconfident, but seeing the spread of the people in the room, she saw no reason not to be.

-----

Super Sailor Hydor

He didn't know why he didn't ignore it. Curiosity, maybe. The inevitability of something else being irredeemably wrong just like everything else in Destiny City, maybe, and the begrudging acceptance of the fact that he was the b*****d that was stuck doing something about it.

He dully acknowledged that it was probably the plural bastards as he took in the people in the ... room? Hall? He assumed it had something to do with the eternal senshi who seemed to have a whole damn entourage at the front of the place, wherever the ******** they were. And he supposed the next part was the most important as he glanced up to the stained glass, as he glanced to the ceiling, as he tried to ascertain anything about the environment at all.

Hydor kept quiet, listening in to see if anyone else would speak first so he could piece together what was occurring--

Did that senshi over there have wings--

Were those real or were those just particularly fancy costume pieces?

He thought about asking, truly, but she was flitting off and talking to other people, and his eyes caught someone else entirely. Wasn't that-- "Ancha," he gestured toward himself, "probably not wise for someone with out-of-control magic to stay to themselves."

It was hard to tell if he was stating the facts or was just looking for a reason to have an ally nearby.

-----

Super Sailor Nembus

This hall was beautiful despite its imposing stature. What sat beyond the windows felt imposing too, and Nembus shrunk a bit deeper into herself at the concept of the darkness and the lightning on the other side. Both were elements she was familiar with.

Very familiar with, sometimes together--

She leaned toward Phaethon, wrapping her arms around herself in something of a self-hug as she looked toward the front of the room. She said she would do this, and she meant that. She had the experience that could help. She could be useful. Having utility was something she wrestled with, especially as she acknowledged that she could bring herself to do nothing. The Negaverse would have shamed her for it. By the same token, the Negaverse would have a lot to say about her current state-- The Negaverse came nowhere near this place, so far as she could tell. None of them were here. She was not in danger of having her head left behind in the darkness--

Nembus swallowed hard as she tried to unwrap herself.

Softly, she asked, "Are you ready for what we're going to see here?"

It was easier to assume concern about others than to let herself rest in the nightmares.

Voyager had almost let out a squeal of excitement when the message had come through on his ring from Alastor about the plan now going forward and he had not hesitated to answer it. And soon enough with the power of... teleportation magic? He wasn't sure how the space travel worked yet, he was at Alastor in the blink of an eye! Or at least a building in Alastor.

What he didn't anticipate was the incredibly heavy feeling of chaos surrounding them. He knew that it would be there, but to feel it like this, it was almost suffocating. He managed to be able to push past it though, keeping a hand clenched on the chain of his past-pocket watch weapon. He wondered if Alastor had been awake long enough to fight through all of this or if he had awoken and immediately gone to Earth. Voyager would have explored the building but he wasn't sure if it was safe or if the Senshi of the Homeworld would have allowed it. Instead he found himself content for the moment studying the architecture on the floor that they were currently on, trying to determine how old it was just by sight.

Drombeg, Knight of Earth

Drombeg had been doing a form of meditation when the message had come through his ring. At first he had hesitated to answer. After all, the last time he had met Alastor he had been questioning himself and his place as a Knight. But it wouldn't do for him to ignore a fellow Order's ask for help and so he had answered, being whisked away to the Homeworld almost immediately. He had to take a step back to balance himself. He wasn't used to the space travel yet and he could have sworn it felt different than going to his hidden Wonder on most of their Home planet.

He took a moment to get himself used to where he had come to. The chaos was bleeding quite heavily in the atmosphere and they were in some sort of building, whatever it was. He wondered if taking a look outside for a moment would cause the chaos to seep in and overwhelm them. He decided against doing so until Alastor said it was okay. After finally catching up to the situation he let himself lean against a wall, hands crossed in front of him in a relaxed position. All of them couldn't do more than mingle and wait now.

It made him feel uncomfortable. While he was an Agent the chaos had felt welcoming. Even if there was always a feeling in the back of his mind, the chaos didn't feel like it would literally overwhelm and destroy him. At least not at the level he was at, he was sure if he had stayed longer that could have become a very real possibility. But here? As a Knight? It was much, much worse. And disgusting. He couldn't help but make a face for a moment as he felt it before moving back into a neutral one. Whatever was going on here to cause all of this needed to be dealt with as soon as possible.

Eternal Sailor Caliban

It had been a while since he had been summoned to another Homeworld or Wonder. It was something that excited him, at least a little bit. It was different from the usual patrolling that was done on Earth and it meant something was going to happen. Whatever it was, he didn't know, and he had never met this Alastor Senshi before either, but he didn't hesitate to answer the call when it happened either.

When he had teleported there he immediately felt the heavy presence of chaos. It almost physically hurt. Still, he was able to push it back into a background annoyance. It reminded him of his Homeworld when that monster had still been sealed inside of it. It wasn't overwhelming like this chaos, but the feeling of there being something wrong was a constant presence.

This would be different from that however. All it had taken was defeating the monster once and for all to finally lift the curse that had fallen over his Homeworld. Even if there was barely anything left on it. This, this would take much more. He wasn't sure what was going on exactly as he really hadn't met any Deep Space Senshi, but with all of this chaos, he doubted it was just some giant monster that had decided to settle on the world. He sighed and took a seat on one of the chairs, waiting to be addressed by whomever the host was.

When Erytheia had heard about a Deep Space senshi who had Chaos on their world, the knight had practically said ‘yes’ right then and there. He knew all too well what Chaos could be like on a world. The devastation on his own wonder was still not healed completely.

He had even helped Ida when the worlds had been infested with Blight.

But this felt different. He’d known Ida before, been to her world. He had been the one to make the call when it was his own wonder.

Yet, he didn’t know Alastor or his world nor did he know much about the new senshi that had started appearing on Earth a year ago. He was glad to help, but, as he was carried away by the golden shimmer, he couldn’t help feeling awkward. How much help could he truly be if he knew next to nothing about these new senshi worlds?

Despite his experience now, he still could not shake the old demon of self-doubt.

Acrucis, Super Senshi of Prayer and Rainier, Page of Mercury

The call was a gentle quiet tug in the back of their mind. Diminutive yet insistent in its plea. An outstretched hand, a request for aid.

For Acrucis it was akin to the elderly she visited in hospice care, no family beside them as they lay in bed waiting for their time wanting nothing more than a casual conversation, to recount old memories be they fond or of regret. A yearning for something before all becomes nothing. Whereas for Rainier the voice felt more like a young child hidden in the closet, hoping if not praying for help but too scared that the one that found them would not be so kind.

A hand reached out and they both took it without reservation.

Brilliant white lightning cut a jagged line across the sky illuminating the stained glass windows in an array of beautiful blues and teals. The colors, however, was where the beauty ended for beyond the walls that guarded them was a world in disarray and ravaged by Chaos.

Acrucis fell silent.

“Are you ok?” Rainier placed a hand on her arm and felt the Senshi of Prayer tense beneath the fabric of the caplet she wore. When Acrucis didn’t respond she spoke in gentle tones, “You can go back-”

“No, I’m just waiting for whoever called us here to explain the situation.” The uneasiness would fade once she learned what their purpose was for being called to a world on the brink of death, soon to be consumed by the chaotic pressure that made her feel more than a little uneasy. Unlike Erytheia, she wondered if this world could be saved.

“Alright,” Rainier glanced around the hallway and noted at least three familiar faces; Voyager, and the Cosmos Knight Erytheia. Surtur she spotted and raised a hand in a brief hello but made no move to leave her friends side.

Meissa, Senshi of Bobcats

Meissa hadn't expected to feel anything relatively different when she powered up that night but shortly after drawing on the power of her world the teen felt a gentle tugging sensation. Ever wary the bluenette considered her options very carefully before allowing herself to be whisked away. If something was calling to her it must be very important. That being said even as she arrived to a great hall that had clearly seen some restoration attempts did the teen realize that she was not alone in answering the summons.

There was something to sigh in relief about when she concluded that all that were present were aligned with the side of order. The bobcat senshi took a patient, waiting stance to see what was the situation that she now found herself a part of. Already there seemed to be no signs of anyone that she knew and so with a quiet sigh did she find a place to sit and wait for answers to questions that she wasn't going to ask.

As she sat down Meissa had to admit that this trip into space at least seemed less chaotic than her most recent foray into world travel. Although with the whole Astraya thing, it wasn't like she had a choice.
