The blueprints weren’t too hard to make out, she thought as she stared them down in a random, out of sight clearing in one of her usual parks. Granted, this probably would have been better to do in her Lab, maybe, or perhaps in an abandoned building where they could properly set up a makeshift lab where they could build in peace without the risk of passersby, but. For now this would have to do.
Ekstrom had reached out to Solaris, both in an attempt to connect after the meeting with Celadon, but also to hopefully get some help with the satellite they were meant to be putting together to try and…save the world.
It sounded so cheesy when phrased like that, but she tried not to think about it too hard. They were trying to save the world, after all, so it wasn’t like the phrasing was wrong at all. Just…it sounded lame on paper. Which probably shouldn’t bother her to the degree that it did, but she shoved the thoughts aside and pointed at a random piece in the blueprint, taking a second to compare it to the materials they’d been provided in order to properly construct one of these things.
Thankfully nothing looked too out of her scope. Not yet, anyway, and not now, after everything she’d done on her Wonder. And while she was still no expert, she had enough practical experience that she was fairly confident she could be useful in this endeavor.
She only glanced up when she felt the aura of someone nearby, and she hoped it was who she thought it was. Being that this clearing was out of sight, she went out of her way to give the senshi directions in order to find it.

All of her original plans to focus on making a safe-space for Order on Earth, where it'd be feasible to train without risking a Chaos attack, and really everything else that had been on her mind... went so far into the back burner for the time being, Solaris wasn't really sure when it'd all be making a comeback.
Likely eventually, once this damn creature was taken care of. Earth saved. The fighting with the Negaverse resumed as normal. Something along those lines.
But it was also why she appreciated that the Mercury Knight reached out to her. She hadn't spoken to all she'd have liked to since Celadon's meeting, and Ekstrom had been on her list of chat later folks. A list she had to put aside in favor of finding information on this s**t--, and so on.
That they could work on one of the satellites... all the better.
First following the directions the Knight had offered, when she felt a White Moon, Knight, aura, she grinned, picking up her pace as she was pretty sure the source would be-- yep!
"Hey!" Her smile was bright as she moved around some flora and shrubbery, entering the clearing Ekstrom was in. "Hope I didn't keep you long." Though she didn't carry anything with her, smaller packs with tools and another with supplies provided for the satellites sat waiting and ready in waiting in subspace. Her eyes scanned over the pieces Ekstrom already had out, and the blueprints. "How's it all going? Making sense?"

She broke into a smile when she spotted Solaris, waving in greeting as the senshi made her approach. “Hey!” she gave an equally bright greeting. “Not at all. I just got started.” And anyway, she was planning on spending all of her allotted patrol time tonight (and probably even more than that) on trying to get one of these satellites together, so she wouldn’t have minded waiting at all. Ekstrom scooted to make some room, and at the question she gave a slight nod.
“Sort of. The instructions aren’t in some alien language, at least, so it’s easier than anything else I’ve ever come across.” Which was plenty, though the information was concentrated strictly to her Wonder, and all of it in some language she was still trying to come to grips with. It was challenging, to say the least, but she was confident she would get it with a bit more time, exposure, and studying. “For now I’ve just been taking stock of what’s needed for the first part.”
She paused to glance down at the materials she’d organized thus far. “I think between tools and materials, I have most of what’s needed.” A bit of her confidence left her as soon as she said those words, and she bit her lip for all of a second before adding, “Or at least enough to get us started. Have you gotten a chance to take a look yet?”

"A little," she nodded, moving over to where the Knight was. "Enough to at least be pretty sure I can handle it without wanting to scream or rip out my hair too much. It's not too far from the blueprints I used to have to study to figure out how to help maintain our computers and other electrical hardware." Reaching into subspace, she pulled out the small bags of supplies and tools--and with it, a picnic blanket she'd tied to the straps of both bags to help keep them together. The bright red and white cloth, she hoped, would help keep them from losing any smaller bits and pieces....
Setting the bags down, she untied the blanket, tossing that open over part of the ground. "I wouldn't say it's basic by any means, it's definitely something pretty advanced. But the drawings also seemed pretty detailed, and I'm sure we could call up any of the Mauvians if we got stuck on anything, y'know?"
Part of what Ekstrom said though needled at her curiosity, and she quirked up a questioning brow to the Knight. "What sort of stuff have you come across?" Her gaze roamed over the Mercury symbols across the woman's uniform and she hazard a guess. "Your... wonder? I don't know what sort of alien language would be used on Mercury..." Her head tilted somewhat as she considered, lips pursing. "I'm not sure what sort of... translation keys, if anything, survived to modern day out there. Have you had a Mauvian take a look, see if they can understand and help out?"

”Definitely not basic,” she laughed lightly at the idea, “but I’m hoping not so advanced that we’ll need reinforcements. If we need to, though, then we need to, but.” Her confidence came back quickly, and there was a glimmer of determination in her eyes. It just felt like this was the least she could do to contribute to all the effort being made to…yeah. Basically save the world.
Though she was distracted from the thought when Solaris asked about her comment on coming across other such things. The Knight nodded her confirmation when Solaris asked if it was her Wonder. “It’s where I can access it, at least. I haven’t gotten a chance to bring anyone else on board to help me translate anything, but if we do make it past all this,” she paused to gesture at the purple storm clouds overhead, “I’ll probably try and recruit someone to see if they can.”
Ekstrom reached for her belt then, and pulled a USB out of one of the pockets to show Solaris.
“There’s stuff in the actual system on my Wonder, but there’s a lot more on this thing. There’s a folder with my name on it, but also a ton of other folders that are encrypted. Knowing my Wonder, it’s probably some kind of magical encryption, and following the logic so far, if my magic unlocked my folder, I’m wondering if it’s possible for someone else’s magic to unlock the others.”

Solaris listened curiously as she began to lay out a few of the parts on the blanket, the contrast of the metal against the checkered pattern helping them to stand out as she'd hoped. Glancing between a few of the pieces and a portion of the blueprint she set out, she tried to organize them in line with the images. Attempted, anyway. Some looked a bit too similar for a cursory overview. She'd re-check those after.
For the moment, the lion's share of her attention was on Ekstrom, listening to her quick summary of the situation at her wonder. Oh, and even had something. She peered at the small USB drive, eyes scanning it for any familiar marking. None jumped out to her, but she was still intrigued. Hadn't exactly expected anything, but never knew.
"So... wait, the folder in the system was in English? At least your name? Huh. But nothing else really is," she continued to herself in more of a mumble, brows furrowing slightly as she considered that. "Have you asked other Mercury knights? Maybe some of their magic would sync with the encryption, since yours did?" She could understand Ekstrom's logic to an extent, and tilted her head a bit as she continued to ponder that. Her own magic unlocked one folder, okay... she was the knight of that place. Why didn't it unlock more?
How could she tell who else's magic would work? Just test everyone till you found the right key?
Doable, maybe.
"I'd be interested in checking it out, once all this is settled. You might be able to ask Sessrumnir, a Jupiter Knight, too? He has a lot of information at his wonder..." Oh. Maybe she shouldn't be offering assistance of others like that. Hm.

Ekstrom put the USB away and went back to puzzling out her satellite while they talked. She listened to Solaris while double-checking what all she had laid out, and had picked up what seemed like the first parts that needed to be fixed together just as she asked her questions.
"No, it's in some alien language. I found it ages ago, but only recently was able to read that it's my name." She paused to put some effort into fixing another piece to what she already had. "I haven't asked anyone else yet, so this is just me guessing how it might work. But yeah, that's kinda what I was thinking. I'd just need people interested in giving it a shot."
Ekstrom set what she put together down and compared it to the blueprint, frowning slightly. "That doesn't look right..." she muttered as she turned it this way and that, wondering if it might be an angle thing, before picking it up and starting to take it apart.
"You're more than welcome to come and try it if you want. So is...whoever that is! if he wants." She looked thoughtful for a moment as she picked up another part to try and attach to her satellite. "I don't think I've heard his name before, but judging by what you said I'm guessing he's been around a while?"

Solaris considered that for a moment, mind wandering between the collection of unknown text and the satellite parts in front of her. "Yeah, once all this is settled, I'd like to take a look, off chance I recognize anything." Slim margin, but if she couldn't, they at least could remove another language from the potential pool. A small chuckle slipped from her lips as a grin cracked further across her face. "Sessrumnir," she said again gently before nodding. "Yeah he has, from my understanding. Him and Alastor--Eternal Senshi--are good people to have on your side in a fight if you get the chance." Didn't make her blink to hear Ekstrom hadn't heard of the Jovian Knight--with the number of people running around the city, she'd be slightly more shocked if they did all run in the same circles. But making new connections was never a bad thing. "Smart, too, both of them. So yeah, far as knight things go, he might not be a bad resource." She'd uh. Need to ask him if she was allowed to volunteer him though for anything. Oops. "Might be another to add to the list of 'things to check out after all this'," she added with a slight wince, gesturing to the satellite parts in front of them.

She gave a nod when Solaris agreed to take a look at the database, then turned half of her attention back to the satellite while also listening to Solaris.
"Sessrumnir and Alastor," Ekstrom repeated, expression set into one of concentration as she committed the names to memory. If she forgot she at least knew she could ask Solaris again in the future, but she always preferred to be a bit more self-reliant with at least the little things like remembering names and powers and that sort of thing. She made a mental note to write his name down in her journal for later reviewing and reminding to potentially reach out if she had more questions related to knight things.
Which, lately, she noticed she was actually starting to think of some that she couldn't seem to answer on her own again. And she wasn't super keen to ask her Code Piece for the moment, so it was possibly her only option at the moment.
"Thanks. And you're right," she went on, following Solaris's gesture toward the satellite pieces with her eyes. "We can worry about it after all this."
And with that, she turned her attention fully back to the construction of their satellites. It was hard, almost tedious, work, but she had a good feeling it would be well worth it in the end.
