Where to begin? Well, Xenosa can be a very temperamental Orderite once someone’s put fuel to the fire. One thing that really gets her blood boiling is people who break rules; rules are there to be followed. Even if she doesn’t like some of the rules that have been implemented by society, it won't stop her from making sure she and even others adhere to them. Her family has made her distrustful of everyone; she has a tendency to keep everyone at arm’s length. She is wary and cautious around people she do not know very well, preferring not to meddle with others and in turn not to allow interference with herself. Never allowed to own anything and feeling like she is always losing someone, Xenosa has grown a state of emotional detachment. Meaning, she doesn’t get attached to anything or anyone and is quick to discard people who are unneeded. She feels that this is the best way to stay away from weak emotions such as sadness and fragility.
On the upper hand, Xen isn’t anti-social; it's not hard to spark up a conversation with her, since she does like to engage in conversations with other people. As long as she finds someone with common interests or ready to teach her something, Xenosa is willing to listen. She is a very honest person which is seen in her to the point, blunt comments or ways of telling someone something with little to no tack at all. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger right? She doesn’t like people who skip around the pot, just say what you have to say and be done. With a clever mind, she is always cunning and adaptable, which gives her an edge in tight situations. She is diligent in her tasks, and not willing to give up until her task is finished. She likes solving problems and finding different ways to do one thing. Some might say she’s over thinking it, but Xenosa sees it as covering all your bases.

Imauna was a great scholar, but the problem was that she had never stepped out of Serenia and she had no wish to do so. She met her husband at a young age, married him when it was suitable and gave him five children. Everything was simple and dandy, her children weren't crazy rebels, and in fact they all followed closely behind as scholars themselves. However, life had other plans for her and she was called to leave the bubble she’d created around herself in Soudul.
Shujal was an adventurous scholar who could never stay too long in one place without feeling like he was going insane. He wrote a many books never published while staying with different bands of Orderite warriors. He enjoyed greatly his life on the road, meeting others and whatever else he might have found on the road. While he sometimes wished he could have been a warrior, writing was certainly his thing.
On Shujal’s last trip, he met Imauna. It was not love at first sight, as she did not enjoy the road as much as he did. However, Imauna loved his carefree side and in the end it was what led to her single slip in her loyalty to her children and husband back home. Their actions later led to the death of Shujal who fell to a dragon they had stumbled upon while returning to camp after a night together, Imauna was the only one to return to the warriors to warn them of what happened.
This event was the stepping stone to Xenosa’s life.
The Orderite was born eight months later to the disgust of the whole family for she was a constant reminder of shameful actions, they could not forgive what Imauna had done. In trying to hide her shame, Imauna hide her child in the outskirts of town with one of their only elderly relatives left alive, her step mother who, while not pleased agreed to take the child in for gold given to her each month. The Orderite agreed to give the required sum of money and visit her daughter whenever she could.
Oaia was not a pleasant caretaker; she was constantly beating on Xenosa verbally and physically. Not a single day went by that she was reminded of who she was and how much of an error she’d been. Xen was told how her father had died, and she wished she’d been raised by him. Her anger grew every day, if she did anything, she thought she`d would be killed. Her mother did nothing to help the issue; she started by visiting once a week and then it turned to once a month and then once every few months until she stopped coming all together by the time Xenosa was eight.
Her half siblings were much crueler to Xenosa. When they visited their grandmother, they always picked on her and no one was around to stop them. They shoved her around, yelled at her, shamed her and never once showed her empathy or love. It was only as she got older that Xenosa felt the need to push back and fight and her anger bubbled up faster and faster each time. All she wanted was to be left alone, and while she’d somewhat attained it, she was still marred by invisible scars.
One evening while Xenosa was returning home, she spotted an Orderite archer well hidden with her bow pointed in someone`s direction. The arrow flew and a stranger went down, but Xen`s eyes never left the dark figure who began its escape. She followed the figure deeper into the darker parts of the city until the archer had returned to walking to a normal pace amongst everyone else. Xenosa grabbed onto her cape and stopped her. The stranger turned around and was about to hit Xen when the little one braced herself for she knew what was coming. Not many Orderite simply took a beating, Daesat took pity on Xenosa.
Daesat never explained what it was she did to Xenosa, but she promised the girl to teach her things no one else was willing to teach her if Xen became her apprentice. The little Orderite soon agreed, eager for a chance to prove herself and to become something more. Their friendship grew, Daesat was like the big sister she`d never had, looking up to her as she taught her how to use a bow, how to laugh and how to channel the anger within herself. Daesat promised that she would help Xenosa leave once she was ready to take on the world.
Daesat taught Xenosa how to take care of herself, how to hunt, how to stalk, how to fight. The small Orderite spent many hours learning and honing her skills, and she became quite good, her skills sometimes even impressing her instructor. She was devoted to having a better life for herself and she knew that hard work would get her there. Her guardian became suspicious; often yelling at Xen asking her where she’d been and whatnot, but she was skilled in lying now and the lies flowed smoothly from her lips like water over rocks. Her guardian suspected something, but never took the time to look into it.
Then as if things couldn't get better, Daesat took Xen to meet Aevah herself. Aevah changed the guardianship over Xenosa, Daesat was officially her guardian from now on until she came of age. The Orderite felt proud that she was one step closer to the freedom she’d sought from her despicable family. There was still one thing she wanted to do however, so that the bond between her family and herself was finally severed. Dae had advised against it, but Xenosa felt the need to defy her guardian this one time, she needed this.
She went to her family home after she’d found the letter, she hadn’t known what she’d find really since she hadn’t laid eyes on her family in so long. She’d come face to face with a noble family with a rich heritage and a husband who was probably the reason she’d been locked up. She’d announced to them her new guardianship, announced that she was forever leaving them and then walked out of their lives. Just like that she had detached herself from her family as easily as shedding a new skin. She’d felt good, and she walked into her new life gladly.
Life was progressively better living with Dae, it was certainly easier to train and go out hunting as well. Enosa continued to learn more and more, hunts became a game and her outlook on life brightened dup a bit. She even met people she sorta liked and if she ever met them again, she wouldn’t mind meeting them again at all. It was many years’ filled with more happiness than frustrations; the small lost and angry Orderite was turning out to be a lethal woman who took pleasure in life now, and she was looking towards the future with a smile.
Until of course, many years later Xenosa was called to meet with Aevah and Daesat once more. Daesat had announced her retirement and her complete withdrawal from Xenosa’s life. She was now officially working for Aevah and she was being paid handsomely for it too. She’d been given a new house, lavish and practically the size of the one she remembered her parents owned. She was on her own now, to pose as an elite of society and by night she worked in the shadows for Aevah. Like seemed to only get more complicated.
