Third time so I need 80-100. Bonuses: +10 for third time. Vlidean give -10 due to their nature.
35 = FAIL!
To be honest now that Daesat was gone, Xensoa was lonely, maybe even lonelier than she thought she was. Some of the warriors she knew had taken up to having Drakein companions, some had stolen eggs. Considering Xen had met some nice very nice Drakein, it just didn’t seem right to go out there and steal from them. She felt it was like stealing the young from their mothers and such an act was horrible to her. She kept her ideals to herself though, if she told them it was wrong and why they’d probably think her weak and that was just unacceptable.
So for the third time now she was going out to try and capture a Vlidean. The damned things always caused her so much trouble when she tried to even get close to them. She had a net with her today though, and she began climbing some of the structures around their nests. Some of the birds had begun to get agitated and they circled dangerously close to her, it wasn’t until one of them got it’s clause tangled into her cape trying to take her down that Xen began to wonder if she’d gone insane trying to climb up here with one.
No time to think, the Vlidean panicked and in its panic threw her off the ledge sending both of them spiraling in a tangle of claws, beak and cape towards the ground. The Vlidean finally freed itself from the cape except from one of its talons and now it flapped it’s wings trying to stop them both from crashing to the ground. Xenosa hit the ground hard first, and she tugged her Cape free seeing the Vlidean advance on her with a wild look in its eyes. Free, it squawked at her one more time and flew away.
