Ysali were a piece of cake now for Xenosa, Daesat wanted to continue with her training and thought Ayrala dragons might be a better match for the Orderite. As per usual of their training sessions, Dae gave her some very brief information to send her in the right away and sent her away. Xen was beginning to think her instructor was trying to get her away from the family home so she could move out on her own. To do that however, she needed to be able to make money on her own and sustain herself in battle. Xen knew she wasn’t ready, but soon she would be an Adept and then she’d really be out on her own. While Xenosa had no idea, Daesat had already prepared the necessary arrangements to get her apprentice out of the horrible home she was in. It would hopefully change Xenosa’s personality for the better in the long run.
The Ayrala were tricky dragons to find, not only did they blend perfectly well with the clouds that hung low, but they loved to be in the air more often than they liked to be on the ground unlike the Ysali. It required a complete change of plan, if one had a plan to begin with, but Xen felt she could still get a kill today. Observing the dragon from the ground proved to be a difficult task, the Orderite lost her patience more than once. However, when she finally locked onto her target, a calm reigned over her as she got into her “zone”. The knives were taken out carefully, and as she approached the grounded dragon she threw one and then the other in quick succession. Both missed and the dragon was flying off into the sky again, Xenosa cursed and returned to her little camp she’d set up.
