The young Vlidean that Xenosa had been trying to catch had seemingly gone into hiding after getting caught twice, now some of the much older and wiser birds were around and watching her. She was probably the biggest threat to them and she’d managed to catch quite a few of them today, they probably thought they could gang up on her. Granted some of them had seen the blades and knew to stay far from her range. Others had been tempted to make a game of the food she’d been trying to feed the young one, snatching the pieces when she was close by t test her.
However, Xenosa was not interested in the old Vlideans with most likely some battle experience, they were far too hard headed to be trained. Plus, an old bird would do her no good if it died and she had to go and get another one. There was also the fact that they were smarter and the few attempts at capturing one she’d tried so far had all failed. They knew where her net was by now and avoided it easily. They’d also figured out she wasn’t using her daggers to hit them but to guide them.
The thought of having to stab one of them came to mind, just to each them a lesson and show them that she could hit them if she wanted to. She had actually thought she’d been getting better and better at this until she’d actually failed at this. Maybe she had to change spots or something, so that’s what the Orderite decided to do. She took down her net, yelled at the birds for a little while and moved out to try and find another pack of the birds who wouldn’t know her, hopefully that would work.
