Now that she had been defeated once, there would not be another lose. Xenosa did not lose and learn nothing from such an encounter. No, in fact she leaned everything by observation and this would be no different. The Kiandri liked to spit lightning out at their opponents, which meant that she had to kill them before they opened their mouths. Or, she had to do something to incapacitate them to the point that they could no longer shoot that lightning. The only way she could see was slashing at their throat and effective way but very up close and personal.
Now that she had a target, Xenosa knew finding and killing this one would be easy enough. Going around the pile of sand, the Orderite made her way back up. This time around, hood up she poked her head up enough so she could see and evaluate the situation. The Kiandri dragon had returned to its previous spot to sun bath and didn’t have a care in the world about whether or not the danger had passed. If she didn’t do this now there would be no way to catch this one off guard again. So, taking a leap of faith, Xenosa threw her first dagger to the other side of the dragon.
As the dagger was thrown the Orderite was already in full running mode, another dagger replacing the one she’d sent quickly. As the dragons head began turning, her hands flew and the daggers went flying straight into the dragon’s side. The Kiandri roared, and opened its mouth to hurl lightning her way. Bending back, Xenosa avoided the bolt and her hands were flying more daggers into the dragon blind. Only when the roaring stop did Xenosa get up off the ground, she’d lost her balance falling. She grinned down at the glowing orb.
