F I R S T B B L O O D I was not expecting to lose, but then again I had completely forgotten about the blood moon and fighting a blood mage during such a moon was not the smartest thing. We will meet again Ekundayo.

L I F E P E R H A P S ? Met a rather interesting Drakein, she seems nice and we both share quite the hate for anything Sudana has created. If there are other Drakeins out there like her, I might just start hanging around them more often.

Y O U ' V E G R O W N Xenosa sat nervously outside the door to Aevah Avi’s office, she felt naked. Her weapons had been stripped from her, all of them. The guards who had searched her had managed to find every single one of them, all they had needed to do was ask her really to hand them over, she remembered the look on some of their faces as they stared at the growing pile of blades all coming from her body. She’d been promised to receive them once she’d be going back out; it still made her sigh deeply. Then the doors to the office were opening and Xenosa was ushered in. Daesat was seated in front of Aevah, looking like a civilian beauty in plain clothing.
“Sit please Xenosa.” Aevah sat down and placed the bag of orbs on the desk. “Thank you.”
“You must be wondering why you have been summoned here and perhaps why your mentor is dressed as she is. Dae, I believe the first part of this conversation should be yours.”
“Thank you. Xenosa, you’re old enough now that you do not require my assistance, you’ve grown into a great woman and I am getting old. I want to retire and live a peaceful life; the war has been over for many years now. You are still young and will be of good use to Aevah, as an expert of your art I believe I have done everything in my power and there is nothing left for me to teach you. Thus I am retiring and leaving you, my protégé, to take up my legacy.” Daesat turned towards Aevah.
“Yes, you will be my eyes and ears out in the world. Daesat has graduated you to expert and I require someone to replace her. You are the lost logical choice for this position Xenosa. What do you say?”
Xenosa had been looking to and fro Daesat to Aevah, so this was the big secret? Dae had been hiding some sort of lover in an obscure area and now she was leaving her. The one person who meant everything to her was leaving, and she felt very much alone.
“Since I am done here Aevah I will take my leave.” Dae turned to Xenosa as she got up. “Do not come looking for me, I am shedding the life I knew for something more. It will be as if I am dead to you, do you understand?”
“Yes.”
“Good.” Dae nodded towards Aevah and walked out.
“I guess I don’t have much of a choice.” Xenosa seethed quietly inside, all she was to Daesat was a tool she had sharpened for years and now she had been sold to be used by a new master. Shackles, she would never be free of them. Not from her family, not from Daesat, and not from Aevah.
“Not really, I require someone of skill and you are my best bet. This is for the good of the Orderites Xenosa, think of it as an honor.”
An honor indeed. Xenosa got up and left to get her knives.

H U N T E R I swear these petty missions I am being given are driving me crazy, I hope that I never have to return to that goddess forsaken house for anything. Granted I did enjoy the prize I collected for myself while I grabbed the bracelet.

L U C K Y S T A F F Xenosa missed Daesat terribly, the woman had left a large unfilled hole in her chest cavity and there was always a pain emanating from it. The large frivolous house she’d been given was too big and quiet for her, the Orderite had taken up the hobby of going out for walks whenever she could to get out of the house. Now that she was apparently considered high society, and quite frankly hating it, she had little time except to dabble in gossip with the other ladies. Much of the fighting she was doing now a days was with words and not with weapons, gradually she’d began to carry less with her as well.
The house she had been given had an armory to it, while some ladies had multiple large closets, hers had been remodeled into a place she could keep all of her orbs and weapons. Granted the house had secret stashes of weapons all over it, her armory was filled to the brim. That’s when Xenosa got the crazy idea that she wanted to clean it out, shine every single blade and polish her shields. The sudden urge even made her tell her maid that she ought not to be bothered for the while day because she was staying inside and cleaning!
Every single weapon, item and whatever else was in there was taken out. Then Xenosa started the long process of polishing and shinning whatever she could get her hands on, it was strangely monotonous but also very calming in a way. Her servants wandered in from time to time to ask her if she was alright or to bring her food and drink, but for the most part they left her alone to her thoughts. She had never really confronted those dark thoughts, but maybe now was a good time as ever.
Where was she headed in the future? Why had Daesat decided to retire and chose the life of a civilian? She’d enjoyed her previous life, or seemed to have. It made her wonder what her own future had in store for her. What did she want to do with herself? Strangely living in this grand palace, living the life she was now, alone sounded bad. Maybe this was why her instructor had let herself be open and had found someone that brightened her day. Granted Xenosa didn’t really see herself loving someone or someone falling for her.
There was a faint knock at the door and Xenosa glance dup to one of her maids who held a package.
“This just came in the mail ma’am.”
“Bring it here.”
The maid treaded carefully through the weapons until she reached the Orderite and handed her the package. Xenosa turned it over multiple times before opening to reveal a staff, there was no note attached to it or anything to indicate what it was or whom ti had come from.
“Who brought this?”
“Just a regular messenger ma’am.”
Xenosa shrugged and put it aside for now, whatever it was and who ever had sent it should know well enough that she did not fight with a staff.

T R I A L Xenosa Xenosa has been through much in her life. Now she's an assassin of Aevah Avi, thought she takes on jobs other than killing. A message arrives from her leader; an Oblivionite warrior who's starting to style himself after the legendary Twilight has appeared in the Terra Expanse of Eowyn. He's becoming quite famous for his zealous fighting and the fact that he apparently has yet to lose. She is to find him, gather as much information on him as possible, find any weakness, and, if possible, kill him.
Tell us her reaction to this assignment, her actions and the results. The kill had come in the early hours of the morning, a soft knock on the door that awoke Xenosa with a start dagger in hand at the ready. Taking a breath, the Orderite placed the dagger into its hiding spot and grabbed the robes that were draped over the one of her chairs next to her bed, the servants would all be sleeping at this time but none would have heard the faint knock anyways. Xenosa wrapped the robe around her and tied it loosely at the waist before she proceeded to quietly make her way around the house, through the kitchen and opened the door that lead to the servant’s alley.
There was no telling who the being before her was; from head to toe the body was covered in clothing and the top loose as to not give away its gender identity. A large heavy cloak finished the ensemble and hide away any face or hair that could have been present; it was like meeting a dark stranger. A gloved hand extended towards her with a plain envelop, Xenosa grabbed it and flipped it over, nothing noteworthy that would ever implicate the sender. The messenger bowed low when Xenosa gave it a head nod and left without a second glance back.
Closing the door, Xenosa left to go back to bed however she did not sleep for the rest of that morning. Instead she’d opened the letter and sprawled everything over her bed to have a look at it. She knew what she had to do and the papers had been burned before her servants had come in to dress her that morning. She’d leave in a few days’ time, make sure her estate was in order and then be able to put her plan into motion. This plan was a lot more complex than what she was used to, but it would work out and this man would be out of Aevah’s way.
----------------------
The plan was simple; pretend to be the lady Orderite most knew her as and accidently infiltrate the camp of the Oblivionite. She would feign innocence, but she knew they’d try and torture her for information before releasing her. Tyaeduerin had a thing for Orderite females and had been known to boast about his accomplishments in sleeping with as many as he could get his hands on. He would be unable to resist a ranking lady, especially not one with her odd coloring and that would be her chance to gain access to his office and plans. Then she would kill him and leave as if a whisper on the wind, but the first part of the plan was getting caught and surviving what he threw at her.
----------------------
This water was freezing; Xenosa stared at the bottom of the barrel motionless. A hand found its way into the mess she called hair and yanked hard at the roots to pull her head out of the water, she took in a large gulp of air before she began a coughing fit. By her count this would be the last time they’d be dunking her into the water before throwing her back into her cell. It was hard not to miss the towering figure of Tyaeduerin, Oblivionite warrior and target, starring down at her with arms crossed on his chest. She felt his hand under her chin, soulless eyes staring into her plum colored bloodshot eyes.
“Good.” He tsked, released her chin and made a head motion for the guards to take her out. If the information she’d gathered was correct, right about now he thought he’d broken her spirit and would use her as some sort of handmaiden. He was known for taking in Orderite woman for his harem and Xenosa knew that he liked variety in his Orderites. She was flashy, had put up more than a fight and had even managed to get a knife to his throat before the guards had over taken her. She would be a prize he would want to keep close to him.
As the guards moved her about, mostly dragging her on, Xenosa was noting the way in her mind and anything she could see. They dumped her into a warm fragrant pool and let the other Orderites wash her and prepare her all in silence. The dull lifeless look she’d given Tyaeduerin was gone and her sharp frowning gaze had returned as she surveyed the other woman about her. This man, this disgusting Oblivionite, liked and prided himself in surrounding himself with so called willing Orderites, yet all of them bore the mark of broken servants. When she got her hands on him, he would die painfully and slowly.
They dressed her in a lavish dress, with extravagant amounts of jewelry and make up. They’d undone all the braids from her hair and it flowed down in think waves to her mid back. When she’d looked in the mirror, she saw the proper Orderite she ought to have been. Body sublime with corded muscle that lined all her angles and curves, she moved in ways that had been previously restricted because of the hidden weapons she carried with herself. Her thoughts were interrupted when her eyes caught something moving and turned quickly, arms raised to hit but her wrists were caught, eyes looking into Tyaeduerin’s.
“My my, what quick reflexes you have.”
He released her and pivoted her body so she faced the mirror and he was at her back with his hands on her hips.
“I had my men look into who you were. It’s such a wonder a high lady as yourself would fall onto my lap.”
Tyaeduerin gently grabbed one side of her hair and moved it away to drape it over her other shoulder as one would do with curtains. He lowered himself and gave her back, where her wing tattoos were, soft gentle kisses. There was no way Xenosa could not close her eyes at the feeling as shivers ran all over her body, no one had ever laid a hand on her body. She didn’t trust anyone and trusted this man even less, but she let him explore her back to the point where she was curling back. When she opened her eyes she saw herself in the mirror as he saw her. Xenosa’s head on his shoulder mouth opened, his lips on her neck with his hands firmly planted on her hips once more. “Come to dinner.”
He released her in one full swing then as if he hadn’t felt the hot burning embers she had. No this was too much, what had happened. No one had ever made her feel this way, but she knew she could not kill him. Escape on the other hand, escape with all the information she had on him she would do. Let Aevah take care of him, for she would not. Xenosa took one shaky breath and left the room, escaping was easy and she’d make sure to return home as soon as she possibly could. Then she would give Aevah everything she had on him.
