Method 5 - Man in life: The man who ment the most to me in life was my grandfather. His name was Fritz. He was not my blood grandfather but was the closest to having one there was. He picked on me all the time and taught me how to be less of a sissy. I would have rolled over in school since I was bullied all the time if it had not been for his tough love. Even though it put him out of his comfort level, he came to a luncheon put on by my Home Ec class in honor of him. Whenever things got rough he was always there to cheer me on. He actively took part in my education while I was in college and helped me study for exams. He never gave up on me and kept pushing me forward until the day he died.

Okay, so I have to do some explaining for this... So uhh bear with me. I'm not good at this sort of thing, so I'm sure I'll ramble a lot.. This might be odd, but probably one of the most impacting figures in my life was Saren Arterius my computer science teacher. A year ago, my now-ex-best-friend was taking his class and told me how fun it was so I decided, why the hell not, I'll drop Art III and schedule this class for fun. Though, probably at the time, I was just mentally scheduling it 'cause it sounded like an easy class + computer time....derp. Anyway. This was probably one of the best decisions I ever made.
This teacher is probably the most challenging, interesting, and overall best teacher I ever had. His way of teaching is incredible, and this is probably the first class in my whole school career where I've ever felt challenged and pushed. (Just so you know, I'm a slacker that makes straight A's so I'm completely srs when I say this. i'malsonotbragging, just explaining)
He's taught me a considerable amount about the programming language C++ (which is pretty basic, but considering I know nothing about programming, whoop whoop) in under half a school year. Like, he's actually put me on a more accelerated course than the other students, and I've covered almost all of Computer Science 1 and some of 2. With some help, I've programmed simple games such as pong and brick breaker. He's currently trying to cram enough information into me for the next three weeks though, because he's moving during the Christmas break and therefore won't be my teacher after this.
I guess I don't really know where I'm going with this but uhh... This teacher is amazing. I can't even describe how amazing he is. Like, we've had paper ball fights in his class. And we've played baseball and then whooped when we nearly cracked one of the monitors. We both spazz over video games. He calls me Commander Shepard (which is my favorite video game character of all time). This man is amazing. And I can't repeat this enough. And thanks to his class, I decided I'm going to minor - maybe even major - in programming/computer science - this man just completely changed my outlook on what I plan on doing with my life.
And it's just... I don't know, when I found out he's moving, I just nearly started crying. Like, I just can't picture the last half of my school year (and even next year, because I wanted to take Computer Science 2 with him) without him teaching this class.

So, I'm going to be gross and talk about my fiance. I knew him back in high school, but I was too afraid to talk to him. 0//0 I didn't talk to him till he was my barrack supervisor in the Israeli Defense Force. I had an emotional break down one night during training and he was the one there for me. He wasn't standoffish like I thought he was. He was just afraid, like me, as we're gay. After that night, things were cooler with us. We could talk about "gay" stuff, whereas with the other guys, we couldn't really. It's not to say IDF is against gays, as it's anything but. But, when you have a bunch of guys talking about boobs and stuff, it's hard to be like HOMANCHECKOUTTHEBASONTHATGUY! But Omri was the one I could go to for anything and everything. He saved my life one night in an ambush. After that, he was forever labeled as my protector and my lover. We fell hard, and we fell fast. We've had some bumps in the road, and actually, we even split up once because of something I did, and I'll never forgive myself for it. :/ This man is my world, and I was a fool to think anything but. He's always the home I can go to, and he will forever be my guardian. I'm his "doll baby" as he likes to call me. And I'll forever treasure that name, as I'll forever treasure him. He's my heart, and I'm his soul. <3 Endmushycrap.

Method Five: I am going to talk about a man named Theodore. In middle school I met a boy. He had rainbow colored hair, piercings everywhere, and was gay. Often he got those looks that clearly said they disliked who he was, who he was born as, and he would merely smile back at them. I had just come to his school. It was on a military base, Fort Meade in Maryland. The children there did not like me, thinking I was a lesbian because I was scared of talking to boys, when really I was shy. I was the kind of kid to say "Even if I am a lesbian is that so bad?" I wasn't. I'm straight, but I didn't see the need to defend my sexuality or the possibility of what they thought I was.
So, as the months went out simple bullies became abusers. The school was a bad place. I was pushed in lockers, shoved in a closet several times, and hit. I took this for awhile, until he came to me. Theodore, the boy that later my friends and I nicknamed Odd. The rainbow haired boy that was far older than me, in highschool already and a junior, and was friends with a kid inside the school. He had heard of me, his friend was a semi-friend of mine, and one day after school he came to visit. He found me and consoled me, I was crying. I ended up becoming attached, I didn't have anyone else so kind, I didn't tell my parents for I was... an idiot basically. He lived on the base, too, so after we met a few times he'd visit the school just to see me.
He became my best friend. Whenever I cried and ran to him he literally, no joke, would deal with the bullies for me. One day, on a field trip, a group of girls shoved me off a ledge. That was the end for me. I snapped. I came to school, it had been two years of taking this abuse, and I literally beat up every girl that had hurt me after school. I snapped. I went crazy. I attacked anyone that had hurt me or gave me a look that said they had intentions to. I became scared and eventually very guilty over what I had done, and depressed.
Theodore was the only reason I am alive today. I had been kicked down to much eventually, I had given up fighting back and had just become sad. Abuse physically, abuse mentally. I had only two friends, and one was starting to treat me like s**t, and the other was Theodore. So, I contemplated suicide. I was going to do it when Theodore stopped me. He is the most important man in my life for this, he is the man that saved my life. That slapped my hand and yelled at me. That screamed and shook me in rage and fear that I would hurt myself. Screamed at me that he would miss me, my parents would miss me, and one day it would get better. It would. He promised it.
And it did. I left the base, my parents had retired, and I went to a new school. There I was assisted, I had many friends willingly deal with my trust issues and soothe me into a more stable environment. I had a bf for a bit, he cheated after a year and a half (Actually, he cheated about seven months ago) and we split up. Theodore was there when he did so. Theodore was there when a boy my age tried to sexually abuse me at a party and my boyfriend at the time (the one who cheated) didn't do anything. Theodore was the one who made me feel safe and I laughed with. Theodore was the most important thing to me.
Then he passed away. He was driving to see his boyfriend and got in a horrible car accident about sixth months ago. He didn't make it. I wasn't there to see him off, this I will never forgive myself for. I will never forget how this amazing man saved me. I will never forget how he used to hold me and tell me it would be okay, how he never had any intention other then to help me and be my friend. How he made me sit here today, typing this. I will never replace his image. I miss him, more then anything. He gave me the courage to keep living, to reach out and rely on people, and he will forever be remembered.
