Chloe and Lili padded side by side through the grounds of the abandoned hospital. Though it had appeared sort of depressing in the daylight, and not at all threatening, Chloe was beginning to have second thoughts about this whole mess. Of course this was why he sent us up here for the dare, she grumbled to herself mentally. He would never send us somewhere nice. Scary hospital. Nice touch of fear to brighten up his day. Lili on the other hand seemed morbidly curious in all of it. She would never be afraid of such places, her being dead and all, but she could at least show a little bit of fear, right? But no ~ the Princess acted the same in every situation.
"Let's just get this over with," Lili told Chloe, staring straight at the entrance. "The sooner we get in there, the sooner we'll be let out with our pride in tact."
Chloe mumbled something unintelligible under her breath, cursing the day she'd ever agreed to play something with the ever bored Sykes, who would throw every last one of them out on a limb for the enjoyment of watching the ensuing struggle. She should've known better. At least the inside wasn't as frightening as the interior. The only problem she was having was the dark, but only a tiny bit. It was only the full moon that scared her, but the darkness was an added bonus. Lili herself was even sort of panicking. She could hear the drip - drop of leaking water coming from somewhere. Water. Though dead, she couldn't stand the sight of any kind of water. It was a reminder of exactly how she'd died, and she could almost see herself struggling at the sight of any large bodies of it. Let's just get this over with.
