Cherry had just left a club...ok the fourth club that day.She was walking the street looking for the next fun thing to do.She didn't care who or what it was like normal.She was having a hard time finding any thing fun to do today and it was making her a bit sad.All the clubs had been boring and all the men had been plan.She need someone or something to lighten the mood of today.

 Yew liked to spend time with his dad. Today, they had been planning to go to the park. Not a park like a hiking park, but a park park, with swings and things to climb on. Yew liked to climb, even if he was kinda clumsy at it. But passing down the street, Dad had gotten into a conversation with a friend of his, leaving Yew to get bored and wander down the street. He could still see Dad back on the bench with his friend, but he was bored already with listening to grown-up talk. It was mostly about other people's kids, and he wasn't exactly learning anything new. The point was, it was boring!
There weren't any other people around, either. It seemed like at this hour of the afternoon, people were too busy doing something outside, especially considering how chilly it was. It was weird, then, that the only other person he could see was wearing very little. Well, okay, she wasn't entirely naked, but she was just wearing a short dress and a hat, and it didn't look very practical, either. Yew watched her, hesitating before going near her. His dad had told him all about stranger danger.

Cherry was to busy at first thinking about what club to sneak her way into tonight to notice the young kit.She passed them all the time and never thought anything of it.She was looking around to try and think of where next to go when she spotted the young kit coming toward her.She didn't really know what to think of the small thing coming toward her.so she sat down and watched it for a bit before starting over as well."Hello?"She tried to use a more soft voice with the young one since she didn't want to scare him or anything.

Aw, she couldn't be that bad! She seemed just as nervous as him as he was of her. "Hi!" he said cheerfully. "Whatcha looking for?" She seemed like she had been looking for something, or at least thinking. Yew plopped down a safe five feet away from her, hopefully far enough away so that if she did something scary, he could high-tail it away back to the safety of Dad. Yew was still too little to defend himself. Not that she looked scary, anyway, but those boots might hold a knife for all he knew.

Cherry looked the little one over with a smile.He was just so cute and fluffy looking."I was just looking for the next club to go too."She looked around and spotted what had to be his father."What are you up too little one?...My name is Cherry."She just wanted to hug him cause he was way to cute.She didn't even know why.She could easily tell that he was a bit skittish about her.She couldn't blame him since she was stranger to him after all.

"Club? Like a secret club?" The only clubs Yew could think of were the clubs all kits played with--secret clubs and secret meetings interrupted by running back to the kitchen for lunch or snacks. But people only belonged to one club--why was she looking for a "next" club? "I'm just waiting for Dad to get done with talking to a friend," he said. "You have a pretty name."

Cherry couldn't help but to giggle a bit at the boy innocences.He was so small and cute."Not quite.These clubs are where people go to dance and meet others.You might go to one when you are older."She smiled at the young one since he was kinda fun to talk to."Ah its one of those boring talks then?Why thank you.What is you name little one?"She was relaxed right now.She never talked to a child before.

"Why do they call them clubs, then?" Yew asked. "Do you have to join them before you can dance there?" He couldn't wrap his head around that idea. No one he knew went to clubs (not that he knew of, anyway), and the more he thought about it, the more curious Yew became. He was still wary of Cherry, though. As nice as she seemed, he knew that someone you met on the street couldn't really be trusted. As such, although she wasn't as creepy now as she first seemed, Yew decided to ignore her question. Yes, it was rude, but he wasn't sure what else to do.

Cherry thought about it a little bit then had a idea."They are called club because only adults can go to them.So they are kind of a club for grown ups."She thought he was just to cute.It made her want one of her own."No you don't but you have to be very cool to get in."She didn't mind that much that he ignored her question.

Yew nodded knowingly--that sounded right. Clubs were places of exclusion for all but certain people. He thought that made sense. "So do your friends go with you?" he asked. "And what happens if one of you is cool, but the rest of you aren't? Do they not let any of you in, or do they only let in the cool people and the rest have to figure something else out?"

Cherry just smiled more at his questions."Yes my friends come with me.If only one or a few of us are cool the rest get to come in cause they are cool by just being with us."She nodded at the end o her words."Then we all get to have fun and dance and meet other new friends."

For some reason, he felt a bit of relief. Not for himself--he wasn't sure if he wanted to do any dancing, and he didn't have any friends he would go dancing with--but for her. Well, for anyone. Sympathy and all that. "So coolness rubs off?" he asked with a playful grin. He wasn't quite sure what defined cool, but he had a few vague ideas--didn't everyone?
