AppleFlutter chimed at her mother and father, awake far earlier than anypony had a right to be. But she was so excited! Today she hoped she could follow her father into the orchard! She so loved to hear him talk about their apple trees and what things had to be done to care for them. She couldn't wait until she was big enough to go bucking with him! It all sounded so exciting and the little bowl hopped and wiggled until she was right under her daddy's nose, chiming and clacking her chopsticks at him to wake up. She paused when she heard her mother's worried voice and only then did she realize her brother was missing! Maybe he had gotten over excited and decided to see the orchard without them... She certainly hoped he didn't get in trouble!

"O-oh my," Fluttershy murmured and smiled. It was still a surprise to wake up to see her bowls each morning, but it always filled her with joy...and a little anxiety. After nuzzling the bowl nearest her, she sat up and looked for her mate. "Braeburn...are you awake?" she asked softly, a light blush coloring her cheeks. It still felt new to her, living on the orchard farm with Braeburn and raising the little critters that roamed with the help of her Angel, who was still asleep on her shelf bed. Looking again at her bowls, Fluttershy felt excitement again. She just knew she and Braeburn could raise their little foals to be good ponies. But...where was their little boy? "Oh no...Braeburn! Wake up! We're missing a bowl!" she fretted in her quiet yet worried way. Both of the girls were still here, but where had their colt fluttered off to??
