Ujo was trying to mind his own business and possibly take a nap. About a week ago, this would have been so much easier. But now, after one drunken night with that alien chick who thought she could talk to plants, it was...difficult, to say the least. Right at that very moment, the little blue bowl that was his only daughter was chiming at him and clicking her chopsticks together nonstop. All he wanted was a nap. Was that too much to ask? Apparently, now that he supposedly had to be a 'father' it was. He never got any time to himself anymore. Even when he tried to sneak off when the bowl wasn't looking, she found him. He still didn't understand how that worked, and refused outright to believe that she and her mother could talk to plants. More chiming in his face and he groaned and did the only thing he knew to do. "ANTHAS! What the hell does she want?" he called. He didn't know how Anthas could speak to the little blue thing before him, but she could and he just couldn't take her constant chiming.Lahja was trying to tell her father what she'd done today. She just didn't understand why he couldn't understand her and it was frustrating, but she kept trying. She knew one day soon she would be able to talk to him without her mother and their beloved plants acting as intermediaries. [Daddy, daddy! I saw a broccoli plant today, and she said she liked you! See, daddy, not everyone hates you! Mummy, Terho, Rozen and I love you, too!] she chimed and clicked, wiggling her bowl and trying to get closer, trying to convey her message. She loved her mother, and the plants they shared bonds with, but Anthas wasn't always around when she needed to tell her father something and she was getting tired of not being able to communicate with him.
