Geyser Eelborn Macaw: [Wanders into the shop] Pixel-x-Bunny Jealousea: *slithered up in a corner, flipping through a book* Geyser Eelborn Macaw: [Spots Jealousea in the corner and wanders over to her] What is it you are reading? Pixel-x-Bunny Jealousea: *looks up, giving the male a once-over, feeling a quick flash of a hot angry at the male's lovely jewels, though dismissing it just as quickly* A book about ancient civilizations why they died out. Geyser Eelborn Macaw: [Is instantly interested] Which civilizations? [Smiles at her] My name is A'ka Pa'das. I am called Macaw. What is your name? Pixel-x-Bunny Jealousea: Im not sure, I haven't gotten very far in the book yet. *blinks up at him and raises an eyebrow, smiling back - after a minute - questioningly* Hello Macaw, I am Jealousea and am called as such....Do ancient civilizations interest you? Geyser Eelborn Macaw: That is a pretty name, Jealousea. ^^ Civilizations of any sort are fascinating. People say mine is an ancient one--or at least dead. They fascinate me even more. Pixel-x-Bunny Jelaousea: Thanks. *nods to the book* Well, the book is an okay one, so far, if you'd like to look at it. It's not that I find civilizations in particular interesting, but all of history intrigues me. *smiles a little, and nods to the male* No offense should be taken, but you do look as if you have come from somewhere ancient - or dead. Geyser Eelborn Macaw: [Sighs and fiddles with his armband] It is alright. My people are...gone. [He shakes his head to distract himself] What sort of history do you like? Pixel-x-Bunny Jealousea: *raises an eyebrow at the look of saddness, but doesn't ask* History about significant changes. Or any kind of large development in technology and way of life. I like Indians and Greeks, and I prefer to stay away from war books. Geyser Eelborn Macaw: I used to enjoy stories of war. Now, I am less fond. Too many bad memories. What sort of Indians? Eastern or western?

Pixel-x-Bunny Jealousea: Western.......*looks up at him with a questioning look, while getting to her paws* Bad memories? Geyser Eelborn Macaw: [Shrugs] I fought in a war a few years ago. It was unpleasant. [He shakes his head] It isn't fit for discussion. Pixel-x-Bunny Jealousea: Are you sure? Im happy to listen. *flicks her tail and rubs it over his paws* Geyser Eelborn Macaw: [Smiles at the flick of her tail over his paws, recognizing flirtatious behavior and deciding to encourage it with a stroke of his wing against her shoulder] I am sure you do not want to hear about that. What about you? Pixel-x-Bunny Jealousea: *looks down and rubs her paw at the question*...I uh..*Flutters her wings and brushes hair out of her face* Not much to tell, I suppose....Just...Well, my mother is the embodiment of the Deadly Sin, Envy.
Geyser Eelborn Macaw: [Frowns, confused] "Deadly Sin"? What are the deadly sins? Pixel-x-Bunny Jealousea: ....Things such as Envy, Sloth, Vanity, Greed, Gluttony, Lust, Wrath, and Pride. Things that cause people to become evil and selfish. And my mother was as such. Geyser Eelborn Macaw: Your mother was a spirit, then? [Tilts his head] What we count...counted...as sins were not the same. Pixel-x-Bunny Jealousea: Not...really, she's just the embodiment of the spirit. A physical ideal. And of course there are more sins than that - but these were just considered the most deadly, or the root of other sins. What were considered sins in your culture? *tilits her head, curious* Geyser Eelborn Macaw: [Considers it] Malice...That is the greatest one of all. Malice, Negligence, Stubbornness...We do not have sins the way your people think of them. We have...behaviors that are not looked well upon, but not sins as such. Pixel-x-Bunny Jealousea: *nods and shows a thoughtful look* Understandable. We have behaviors too, that are looked down upon. Such as Intended Violence, Homosexuality, and Adultery, as well.

Geyser Eelborn Macaw: [Nods] All of them looked down on in our society, too. But anger and greed are worse? [Tilts his head] That's a little wrong, isn't it? They're natural. Pixel-x-Bunny Jealousea: *shrugs* I think it's just because of the things they lead too. Like excessive anger leads to violence which could lead to homicide. Same for Greed. Geyser Eelborn Macaw: So your mother, she is an outcast? Pixel-x-Bunny Jealousea: *laughs a little, with a look of pure distaste* From what i've heard of her, it seems she'd be the one to cast other out. Wouldn't know though, I haven't talked to her since she dropped me off her the day I emerged. Geyser Eelborn Macaw: [Stares at her in horror] Your mother abandoned you?! Who took care of you? Who protected you? Pixel-x-Bunny Jealousea: *looks down in shame* I suppose that I did all of those things for myself. Geyser Eelborn Macaw: [Gapes at her, trying to wrap his head around that idea, then shakes his head, murmuring admiringly] You must be very strong then, Jealousea. Very strong, and very fortunate. Pixel-x-Bunny Jealousea: *shakes her head* I don't know about that. It’s not like there are many here that could, or would want to harm me. And my books helped to raise me. Geyser Eelborn Macaw: [Shakes his head] Courage, then? It would take great courage to live alone when you are so young. Pixel-x-Bunny Jealousea: *chuckles lightly then smiles sweetly at him* I suppose. What about you? You look like the brave type. Geyser Eelborn Macaw: [Shrugs] Enough to protect the people I love. In other things... [He sighs] I am not so brave.

Jealousea frowned and furrowed her brow, shaking her head. "I highly doubt that." She stood up and flicked her tail, looking at him, "I mean, you may think that - but I see something in you that tells me if you were faced with a truly trying situation,...I think you'd be able to conquer it..." The young female shrugged and smiled a slightly sad smile, "But that's just my opinion*

"Your confidence in me is enjoyable," Macaw chuckled. He was starting to like Jealousea. She was beautiful--it was devastating not to feel that tug for her, but he just had to keep trying. "So tell me, what's it like around here?"
