Fluorian scratched an old rune into the floor idly, disgusted at how boring the place was. All of the other foxes around were so dull and normal, there wasn't even a single one with some trace of magical abilities. She was beginning to consider setting the place on fire. They she'd at least get to see them all run around in a panic, maybe one would even catch fire. That would certainly be amusing but it just didn't fulfill her need. What she needed was a new shiny. Something, or someone, to toy with. If only finding such a thing weren't so damn impossible. Grumbling to herself she let a puff of smoke rise from her nostrils as her claws tapped out a rhythm.

Nao Sai lay in the fading sunlight, the rays making it seem like his fur was glittering. He enjoyed the warmth at the moment, though his favorite time was just coming up. As the sun set, and the stars came out, Nao stretched in place. His tail curled up, the tip touching his back. His small wings flared as he yawned, then settled back against his fur. The noise from the other Noodles in the shop barely filtered into his mind. He'd always ignored them for the most part since none of them seemed interested in meeting him, The truth was, he wasn't interested in them. Perhaps it was his differences. His strange yellow eyes, so like a serpent's, or perhaps a cat's. His armored legs and the hooves on his back legs. Many stories told of demons with such feet. Perhaps that was what they named him behind his back. Whatever they called him, it had no bearing on him for he was not the demon they thought him. He was only himself. A seeker of truth.
