There she was again, that blue angel that had stolen his heart without a single word spoken. But he couldn't possibly approach her. She was an angel, and he, a halfbreed that was shunned by even his own family. Doubtless if he even tried, he'd be rejected and what need had he of more of that? What could he possibly offer her that would be good enough? A voice sounded behind him and he yelped, spinning around with wide eyes to see her. His angel. He stared dumbfounded for a long moment. His green fur mottled red over his cheeks as he finally managed to find his tongue. "H-hi..."

She giggled quietly at his shy, flustered demeanor. It truly was one of his charms, how he acted. Afterall, Pheadra was nothing like that, being her bold, daring, and cheerful self. Plus she was angelic. What could she do about her natural instincts to laugh and dance and sing, frolicking in joy and handing out kindness? He was cute, even for a half-breed demonic. A smile graced her lips as she laughed. "What's your name? I've noticed you here recently and you look lonely over here." She commented, happily twitching her tail as she sat infront of him, looking at him. His eyes were a bit haunting, colored like hers, with just a slighter cooler tone, and eye whites turned black. Strange how opposite yet close they could be, in the smallest of details. She giggled again at her wandering thoughts, her own warm eyes shimmering brightly, wings tucked in and fluttering out once in awhile in her charming, graceful manner.

He stared. He couldn't help it. Not once since he'd seen her the first time had he ever thought he'd talk to her. Oh sure, he'd entertained the idea once or twice, but never once seriously. He just knew she would reject him if he tried.
Yet here she was, standing before him, smiling and speaking to him. Crap! How long had he been staring at her, dumbfounded? She'd asked him something, hadn't she? What was it? "O-oh! Um...m-my name's M-Mintesh," he stuttered, "W-what's your's?"
Now that she was closer, he could see just how beautiful she was. It only served to make him more nervous as his heart pounded in his chest. Maybe she was only here on a dare? He knew from experience that even angels could be cruel. And what could she want with someone like him? He was all sharp contrasts and not even a full blooded demon. She...she was soft and beautiful. They didn't belong together, despite how much he wished they were.
But he would go along with this...whatever it was. Even if all that happened was she got a good laugh at his expense. It didn't matter, because she still talked to him and he had been given the gift of her voice and presence.

Phaedra smiled happily as she waited for the noodle to speak to her, fluttering her wings and giggling as he stared, so cutely. By gosh the shyness was such a charm. How could she resist helping the poor fellow? Demonic or not, surely such a cutie pie couldn't be all evil, if at all.
She listened as he spoke and finally gave her his name in that sweet, nervous tone. "Well hello M-Mintesh. I like that name of yours." She chirped, breaking out into a fit of giggles at her small joke. She loved his shyness. Afterall, most noodles she knew were intimidating or outright blatant, much like her family. It was a great chance to meet someone more reserved and quiet with their thoughts, with themselves.
"My name's Phaedra." She told him, tail swishing back and forth on the floorboards. "Are you alright over here? You seemed troubled. Anything I can help with?" She asked, blinking her gentle eyes and waiting for him to open up. Oh how she hoped he would at least. Allowing herself near a demonic was a rare chance, unfortunately, thanks to family. However exceptions were made, and why couldn't Phaedra take advantage of it? Oh she would. She wanted to know everything about this male before her already. A smile graced her lips, and she giggled, waiting for the demonic to answer her.

He blushed harder when she said his name with the same stutter he'd given it, and then giggled. And what a laugh, it was such a perfect sound and he smiled a little. It was so different from the harsh kinds of laughs his family gave and he loved it.
"N-nice to meet you...P-Phaedra..." he stuttered. Gah, even her name was amazing. He was so head over heels for her already and they'd never even talked before. But try telling his heart that as the thing was pounding in his chest like a jack hammer. He just knew that Phaedra could hear it. "O-oh...um...I'm f-fine, r-really." It was...partly a lie since he was never okay as long as his family kept hounding him about not being..evil. But with her...everything seemed to be just fine, as if her very presence made like worth living.

She smiled wider as he stuttered, giggling once more, so charmingly and softly as she fluttered her gentle wings. "It's very nice to meet you too Mintesh. I'm glad we got the chance to speak." She cooed, hoping to ease his nervousness with her constant, sweet smile. Truly it was so wonderful to finally be able to talk to the demonic. He seemed so nice, despite what her family said about demons. Perhaps they were wrong? They did raise her to be kind, and kind she would be.. Yet how could she not pass this kindess to those without her wings or with horns?
"I'm glad you're okay." She chirped, as he finally answered her. "Would you perhaps accompany me to tea or cookies then?" She asked politely, hoping to engage in more activity with the male, and comfort him, as well as make a new friend. Even demonics could be friendly, couldn't they?

She kept smiling at him and it was so different from being scowled at that it brought his own small smile to his lips. It felt so strange, the slight upward curve that he nearly frowned again. But then she asked if he'd like to join her for tea. He blinked and looked at her in utter surprise, his golden eyes wide. "Y-you'd want m-me to join y-you?" he stammered, then smiled again, still just a small thing on his face, but it made his whole demeanor just a little brighter. "Ah...s-sure...I mean...if you r-really want me t-to.." he said softly, blushing.
