Tsukiko stood in the middle of a clearing, one she came to many times to practice. It was out of the way, and it was here that she could train alone or with her brother and not be bothered by anyone. She'd long since outgrown the need to practice moving in silence, without her armor clanking every step she took. However, she liked having a routine, and at least three times a week she was out here training. There was no real need for it other than the fact she liked to. In the midst of her personal session, she was not paying enough attention to the woods around her.

Shackles padded along the forest floor, looking left and right for the path that lead to the field he had come across the other day; hoping to find a patch of honeysuckles that he hadn't nibbled on already. He was a real sucker for their sweet taste, even if it only lasted a few moments, and as he turned onto the dirt path strewn with stones, he winced and really hoped it would be worth it. Maneuvering around the sharp pebbles, he trotted towards the clearing he had locked in his sights; his ears suddenly twitching at the sound of metal clanking in the distance. "What the....." Peering into the open space, he grinned slightly and only just barely revealed himself in the light, afraid of the girl's sudden reaction to his voice as he called out to her. "Hello out there~ What in the world are you doing, young lady?"

Tsukiko squeaked at the sound of someone else in her clearing, and whirled toward the sound, ready to defend herself if need be. It took a moment for his question to get past her mind's defenses, and she looked confused. "I'm..t-training," she called back, her voice light, showing her shy nature. "Wh-who are you?" she asked. "Why are you h-here?

Shackles stiffened and readied himself as if she would come charging through the field and tackle him to the ground, staying there for a moment until he heard her anxious voice. Lifting his arms from across his face, he grinned teasingly and padded up to her so he could get a better look; still weary of her reaction to him. "Well I can see that~" He said with an almost girlish giggle, tilting his head and really putting out an innocent aura despite all his taunts. "But why are you doing it?" Moving quietly, yet quickly, he danced around her a few times as if looking her over. "My name is Shackles N' Bones, and I'm here because I'm interested..... Is that so wrong?" Smirking lopsidedly, he reached up as though fluffing his hair and then took traced his lips for a moment. "I see a pretty girl training herself and wonder who in their right mind would take her seriously in a battle. I mean they'd probably get too distracted to even engage her in a fight."

She smirked very lightly; he had thought she would attack without reason. Her smirk vanished though when he stood a moment later and came nearer, though she could tell he was still on edge, watching her to see if she would still attack. She kept an eye on him as he danced around her, his innocent aura not throwing the Spartan girl off. "Why? Why not?" she asked to his first question, blinking a bit to the side as he answered her's. "I suppose not..." she murmured, though why anyone would be interested in watching her train was beyond her. She growled lightly, not menacing at all, since Tsukiko was not the type to fight from a single taunt. "Perhaps that's the point," she ventured, though she flushed. Did he think she was pretty? That wasn't something she heard often. She tilted her head to the side and looked at him, a bit suspiciously. "...You think I'm pretty?" she asked softly.

Shackles furrowed his brows at her sudden amusement, wondering why she found the things he said so funny; they were meant to stick into her like needles. He loved being able to act innocent, yet twist his words so that they could rain down on someone in a whirl of confusion and hurt. It upset him that she wasn't like the usual noodle, that she didn't automatically feel at ease and let her guard down for him, but all the same he enjoyed a challenge. "Because~ What's the use of learning to fight if you may never use it. A person will look at you, see you're a girl, see you're shy and beautiful, and automatically refuse to battle with you. So what's the point of training then if all they do is give up?" He said lightly, stopping in front of her and grinning from ear to ear, his nose scrunching up as his eyes dazzled for a moment. Plopping his butt down, he grumbled a little in response before starting to fake doing his hair and make up again. "Why yes~ With your perfect hair, that little flower, and some pretty makeup! Oh~~ You look like you're just /ready/ to go out on a date."
