Looking around she saw a clock, she'd been early to make sure she could see him coming, and if he was a total dog she could book it before he noticed her. With any luck she'd be done with this and out at a bar before the night was really starting to kick into gear. Gingerly she sipped her soda, hoping to be on her way soon.

Nao sighed softly as he looked around. He still wondered why he had agreed to this thing called a... 'blind date.' He had never heard of such a thing before, but that was nothing new. The kirin noodle was new at a great number of things, interacting with others high on the list. But Anuket had insisted upon his going to meet this female, that she could teach him about a lot of things. Since knowledge was his first and really only goal, Nao was intrigued and had finally relented to go.
And that was when he realized he had no idea what this female looked like. It seemed Anuket's tendency toward fewer details had rubbed off on him. Seeing no other course of action at the moment, Nao sat quite in the middle of where they were to meet and fluttered his wings a bit before settling them against his back to wait, hoping that his house mate's mother had at least informed the female of his looks.

Lorianda noticed the fool sitting in the middle of the meeting area. His colors weren't bad, but of course it was the eyes she remembered in the description. Well he wasn't a dog, that was for sure. Lori tilted her sunglasses up onto her head and took a small look at herself in a reflection nearby, well it wasn't like she could look better than this.
She sauntered over to him and smirked, "You're Nao, right?" She figured double checking was a good idea, even if he wasn't who she was supposed to meet she planned on ditching that and chasing this bit of tail around for a while. It seemed more than likely that she could have an interesting evening with this fluffy boy.

Nao blinked as he noticed a female coming over to him. She had a certain rhythm to her walk that made him wonder if it was her normal movement or if it was an affectation designed to garner a male's interest. Hm. It didn't seem to be having an effect on him, so perhaps it was just the way she walked. In deciphering the possible meaning or motive behind her movements, Nao nearly missed the question and blinked again before his mind caught up that he was expected to answer what appeared to him an obvious question. If this was the female he was supposed to meet, it should have been obvious to her who he was since he didn't believe there were many others that looked like him around. "Yes," he answered after another moment. "I am Nao." He supposed that the next course of polite action was to confirm that this was the female Anuket had intended he meet. "You are Lorianda, correct?" It simply would not do for him to have gone off with another female only to have his housemate arrange a second blind date with the female he was supposed to have met if this was not she.

Oh he was a bright boy, now wasn't he? Lori rolled her eyes, obviously this one was taking far too much time thinking and not enough time acting, "Yes, but do call me Lori, I don't usually like much of anyone using my full name. Bad luck." She smirked and looked him over again, "I hate to say it, but I had no clue what the hell you were going to look like, so I'm pleasantly surprised that you're at least attractive." Lori always was one to be blunt.
"Shall we head to a table here or would you prefer a different restaurant?" Her tone was in the least cordial, so he shouldn't take offense to it, though he might. One just never knew with boys, not like she really gave that much of a damn anyway.
