Nationality: Kawani
Age: 23
birthday: around the middle of the Fruit Moon.
Gender: Female
Hair: A jet black. She wears it in two braids that eventually entwine together, creating one, thick braid.
Eyes: gold
Appearance: Anope is slim and tall, her height measuring at 5'10'' and her weight being 120 lbs. She has smooth curves but not extremely busty. She is very proud of her body, for she is told that she looks just like her mother, whom she never knew for she died giving birth to her. Anope has always worn a woven bracelet on her right hand. She also wears a woven skirt, that she herself made, very regularly. It reaches down to the top of her knees and covers small parts of the tattoo she had painted on her legs. She has another tattoo, this one is a star that covers her bellybutton. She wears a piece of black leather, that covers her chest, instead of a woven shirt to show it off properly. Around her neck she wears a necklace made of wolf fangs that was strung for her by the love of her life. Who soon after died when fighting a neighboring tribe for land and water. Now she never takes it off and can be seen crying in the forest where he was buried.

Occupation: She weaves baskets for newly born Soquili foals, and heals the injured and ill whenever there is no one else available.
History: Anope had always been thought of as energetic, mischievous, and beautiful. all through her toddler hood till her mid teens, she spent countless hours riding the fastest of Soquili, playing in the hills and mountains, and playing pranks on unsuspecting villagers. Her life seemed to consist of fun and games, not responsibility. But she was brought into the world without a father, and her mother dying from childbirth, she was raised by her mother's sister, who died the night Anope turned 11 summers old. From then on she had to take care of herself. Learn the skills of an adult. How to weave clothing, find food, and other important skills. But she did learn to enjoy life to its fullest, always looking towards tomorrow with a smile on her face.
Her beauty caused many boys and young men to chase after her. But her heart never belonged to any of them. At least not until Kagali. Kagali was a young man, soon to be 22 summers old. He was tall and slim, his arms were strong and his back firm. He stole Anope's heart the moment he told her that he had fallen for her beauty. From then on, she became more responsible. She began to ask village women for advice with men and future children, and how to prepare yourself for a family. Then one night, a miracle happened. Anope felt a thump inside of her. near her stomach but not quite. It felt like a kick, like a sign of life. She was pregnant. Two moons pregnant to be exact, or so the witch doctor told her. That night, Kagali asked her to be his wife.
Another moon passed. The pregnancy was going smoothly, they had finished their own hut, and they had received blessings from all of the village. Then Kagali was sent off to fight with another tribe for the lands the tribe had stolen. But he promised her that he would return, but he didn't. He was killed near the end of the battle.
Anope slipped into depression. Barely eating or leaving her hut. This caused her to loose the second love of her life. Her child. Because of her depressed state, she miscarried her baby. Now she was once again alone. She slipped even further away. She wanted to go back to her Kagali, to be held in his strong arms once more. Her body soon gave out. She became bed ridden, too weak to move extensively. She lay in her bed for days on end, waiting but never receiving the mercy of death. So she planned to find death herself. With the last of her quickly draining strength, she set out to the mountains. She hiked all night, never stopping.
She finally climbed to a steep ledge in the mountain range, Anope stood on the edge of the rock, under her was nothing, just darkness. She closed her eyes and took one more step. But she stopped. She heard a cry.
It was the cry of a child. A cry of pain, suffering and sheer terror. Anope turned her head and saw, not 100 feet away from her, a small, thin filly. Wounded, cold and starving. She could feel tears falling down her cheeks. It was calling for her help. It needed her. It needed a mother. She knew that Kagali had sent this filly to her to stop her. He had given her child back to her. She stepped back. Took the filly, being careful with its wounds. She whispered in its ear that there was nothing to fear, and that she would take care of her. She took her back to her hut and tended to its wounds. Fed it and made sure to feed herself as well. That night she slept on the floor as the filly slept soundly in her bed. She named the beautiful dark filly Selena. And she watched her grow into an amazing mare. Watched her run and watched her meet other Soquili. She never rode Selena, for she knew that Selena was independent. Selena became her daughter in many ways, in others she became her friend. But all in all Selena became her purpose in life. And that's how Anope's herd began.

She had dropped to her knees in complete exhaustion and would have quickly died if not for Anope, her guardian two-legger. Anope raised and cared for Selena, loving her as her own child. However, as soon as Selena grew into a young mare she let. Back into the dark world to travel and find her place. But Selena promised Anope she would return home. Selena had left to return back to her home lands. To find out what had happened in her early childhood. Her only memory of the night was seeing her mother laying in the grass, bleeding. She had told selena to run, and so she did. She had also been perused by the murders of her parents and siblings. She had run all night, and all day. Never really understanding why she had kept running, but she did. Even when she was no longer being hunted she ran, ran from the memories of the mother she never knew and her killed family. She ran so far as to come to the lands of Soquili, and once there she collapsed and was found by Anope. However her travels to her homeland were detoured by being captured. A band of thugs that called themselves Team Rocket had captured her and kept her as their prisoner. They soon learned, the hard way, she was not one to be imprisoned and she joined their ranks. With them she completed missions, explored new territory, planned ambushes, stole goods, cracked and created codes, even made large scale assassinations. Selena quickly climbed their ranks and learned many things from them. She was respected by all and admired for her speed and cleverness. However, she left Team Rocket, which had become much bigger than just a group of thugs by this time, and returned to the lands of Soquili. Fulfilling her promise to Anope. her likes - Caves, mountains, forests, shade, the moon, stars, night, dark clouds, rain, adventure, Team Rocket, her family, sparring, logic puzzles, metaphors. her dislikes - Sun, day, cloudless skys, snow, summer, heat, bitter food, simple Soquili. her favorite foods - sweet grass, cheese and golden mushrooms. And the dream is reality." name - Monoceros nickname - Ceros temper - descreet his friends - Rupali, Forest, Selena, Danae, Edel, Amitola, Nokomis. his enemies - none his crush - Nokomishis children - none yet his siblings - his late sister Starla, and his younger brother Orion. other family - unknown received - Radar was kind enough to give me co-ownie rights to him! <3 his past - Monoceros is from a large desert tribe of nomads. They call themselves "The Followers of the Star" and they spend their full year following the North star through the desert. They are very spirited and gentle. They are very different from other Soquili. Ever member of the herd has a mane of cloud, glowing eyes and hooves, also, every member is a Unicorn. Pure and devoted, holding the tail of the lion proudly. However, only very important members of the herd have their cloud manes adorn with stars and the moon. Ceros was to be the next chief and that is why his mane is so decorated. Though one sand storm would not stand for it. It was strong and come out of the blue; leaving the nerd and Ceros surprised and separated. Even with his skills honed over the years to be able to survive sand storms and traverse the Desert of Illusions, the stallion was unable to find his herd again. After a few days, he found his way to the Soquili lands. Green, lush, mysterious and completely alien to him he began to explore. Feeding his child-like curiosity by meeting new friends, seeing new things, but most of all being able to accept his new life. his likes - stars, star gazing, the moon, his herd, the desert, nature, soft music, friends, families, unicorns, being curious, puzzles, complex things, mysteries that need solving. his dislikes - wounds, unfriendly people, being separated from his herd, huge crowds, water. his favorite food - passion fruits.

 ~ Selena ~
Selena came into these lands as a foal, she was found by Anope, small, tired and starving, up in the mountains. Anope named, nurtured and healed Selena. Giving her a place to call home. Selena grew up with Anope, she learned about the world and had time to heal from her traumatic past. Once she became a young mare, she set off once more into the world, promising that she would return one day. As she traveled, she found herself captured by a group of bandits known as team rocket. They soon found that she was no more hostage material than she was a princess, and she joined their ranks. They taught her many things, how to enhance her skills, be observant, how to twists one's mind in half. Even how to kill. But also how to run.
Team Rocket was as close to family as Selena ever got. She traveled on missions with them all around, climbing their ranks quickly. Earning respect easily. Yet everywhere she went, slowly, slowly it reminded her of Anope. And at one point, she left Team Rocket, forever. And returned to Anope. She was welcomed with open arms and smiles. Selena was still a young mare when she returned for good to these lands, but she was wiser than her years. But as she explored and met new people and made friend, and enemies, they taught her even more. Now her whole life is an adventure, and her past is only her shadow. |

  name - Lurnu familiar of - Selena temper - loyal received - Astral vanity's CC for familiars past - Lurnu and Selena met many years ago; when Selena first joined the ranks of Team Rocket. As a new member, she was told to chose a familiar. There were wolves, foxes, raccoons, crows, ferrets, and bats to chose from. But one had to bond with their familiar, for they would become soul team mates, almost family. When Lurnu first saw Selena and she chose him, he felt the same bond to her that she felt to him, that day was the beginning of their friendship. Together they completed countless projects, brought back many hostages, devolved hundreds of fighting strategies and plans, even killed. But where their skill lay was with scouting and spying, they were both as black as night, and their eyes and nature called them towards the darkness. Many times Lurnu even joked that Selena herself was meant to be born a bat. Then one day, Sel decided to leave Team Rocket, Lurnu did not hesitate to follow her. They trusted each other with their lives and never looked back. Together they started their life in Soquili grounds. |
