> Viper flew around with her large wings spread out between the mountain tops.She flew side to side for a bit then finally landed looking around over the lands.

> Monoceros had actually spent his day exploring the a different portion of the mountain. Finding many things to interest him and eat up his time. Though not long ago he had noticed something flying above. To his glowing eyes it did not look at all like any bird he knew, though he was still very new to these lands and had much yet to see. So he decided to follow it. A few hours had passed of careful

> spying until it landed. And it turned out he was right! It was no bird at all. Not even close.

> Folding her wings to her side Viper gave a slight huff.Swaying her long snakey looking tail she bent her feathery head down nibbleing on some small piece of grass.Viper shifted her hooves to the right place and kept nibbling on the pieces of grass around her.

> Monoceros couldn't help but peek over a few bushes, and try to silently step closer. His curiosity gripped him and the creature looked so magestic and mysetrious. His will to learn wouldn't allow him to pass up such an oppurtuntiy.

> Lifting her head quickly she noticed the mountain trees swaying because of a slight breeze.Spreading her large wings once more to strech them,she kept them out.Once more her muzzle went back down and picked up a couple more pieces of grass.

> Ceros' glowing eyes brightened and a smile grew on his dark indigo face. He stepped a little closer, building up confidence to approach and strange creature. he stepped over his wall of bush and trees and placed his hooves into her clearing. He stood in plain sight, ground held and ready to run, or fight, if the events turened against him. Though his smile and kind, curious eyes remained.

> Vipers ears heard the stallions hooves and her head shot up looking around.Noticeing the dark purple colored stallion her feathers went up but her ears went down.Snorting lightly she went back down to grazing,her wings still spread apart.

> Ceros took the gesture not as friendly, but neither was it violent or irritated. He took another bold step forward and bowed his head. "Good day, i am sorry for intruding"

> Viper let out a small growl and her head shot up again looking at the stallion.She didn't speak a word.Not one.She just stared at him and folded her wings slowly.

>Monoceros didn't let his smie slide and he stared into the mare's eyes, trying to find somethign to bring her out. He lowered his head again, showing his humblness and respect for her and her territory. He took just one step back to give her more space. "Would you like me to leave miss?" he asked, suddenly eyeing her large wings. If she wanted him dead, or hurt, he was sure he would already be so.

> or atleast hurt. She would have already flown or run off if she was shy or afraid. Somethign was holding her here and ceros wondered if it could possibly just be the grass

> Viper let out a slight hiss as he backed away from her.Her white eyes met his and she just kept watching him."If i wanted you gone,you'd be gone."She gave a slight grin as he looked like he was wondering about her.

> Ceros smiled to himself. He had thought so. He looked at her for a little while longer. Then, keeping eye contact, he lowered his head and also began to graze

> Turning to graze again she flicked her tail and finally had her wings to her sides.Her ears pinned back,they listened for him to move.

> As Certos slowly grazed with her, time quietly passing on, he got closer and closer, trying to take a better look at her wings; her makeup. He wished he could study this alioen creature with a better atmosphere. But he would wait for her to be ready to allow him that herself

> Speading her wings quickly she kept an eye on him behind her.Viper gave a low growl and bared her teeth again.

> Ceros looked at her teeth and heard her growl, in return he bared his own teeth, with a wide smile. "rawr". He chuckled and flicked his tail, remember the many years ago when he was a foolish foal. All that had changed aobut him now was he was grown. A foolish adult indeed

> Viper folded her wings and stepped forward just a bit.Rolling her eyes she listened to him.He did seem quite intrested in her,not sure why."Why are you watching me like your going to try to get me from behind?"She turned to him and looked into his eyes.

> Cero looked and straightened up, pleased to hear her speak to him. Even though she was clearly annoyed. "Well, if you could not tell good Ma'am, I am not from these lands. I have come from the desert and I have seemed to find myself stuck here. Everything is different to me, including yourself, and I can't help but be engrossed in the strangness of these lands."

> "Are we really that much different than your own kind?"Turning she looked at him dead in the eyes."I don't know anyone besides myself that has this scaley Kalona/kirin body."Shrugging she kinda gave up on being on guard the whole time he was there.

> "Yes in fact, there are more differences than i can name. Physical that is, though down in the heart, the soul if you will, there is nothing different. Maybe thats why I am able to feel at peace in these alien lands." he smiled at her. "Here there are so many different species. With wings, fins, anteni, even some with cloud manes like myself.

> But my kind is all the same. Unicorn horn and tail, dark coats, cloud manes, glowing eyes, horns and hooves. Even are big ears all run in our blood. There is ofcourse much uniquness between indivduals, but its still almost carbon copy. Unlike here."

> "I see.So your saying your intrested in me because of my different physical features."Shrugging she motioned to him."Take a look,i don't mind."

> Ceros smiled and let his eyes eat up everything about her. Her wings, scales, teeth, feathers. Everything/ He came closer a bit to look at the detail, texture. He asked a few questions about various functions and abilities of her body and after awhile he was content. "I am sorry for being rude, but I am just the knowledge thirsty type." He bowed his head in apology

> "Apology accepted."She spreaded her wings out so he could see them better and swishing her long tail."Whats the most intresting thing about me?"

> Ceros blinked and tried to decide. "I would have to say your wings. Their texture and detail is that of a reptile, maybe evena fish. They are without feathers but you are still able to fly. Its quite incredible"

> "I'm pretty much a half breed kalona."She gave a small smile and looked at her wings."It is intresting isn't it.I never really noticed."

> Ceros smiled, "" Again thank you." he loved learning, and experiences like this were invaluable to him

> "No problem."She folded her wings and gave him a slight nudge on his cheek.Viper took off after she nudged him."You wanna see me fly?"

> Ceros jumped up on the oppertunity. "Oh yes! That would be fantastic!" He had seen her fly, but that was from far away and then he was more trying to figure out what she was rather than pay attention to what she was doing.

> Running as fast as she could,Viper spreaded her wings and took flight.Turning she came down a flew past him.She giggled and awaited to see the look upon his face.

> Ceros nearly jumped out of the way as she felw at him, his already racing heart skipping a beat. Then she soared up again. Her flight was breath taking and he was lost in the glory and awe of the magestic nature of it. "Beautiful..." he whispered, smile widening

> Landing beside him she pranced a little at the end."Well?"She smiled at him softly and slowly folded her wings to her side.

> Ceros gave her a huge smile. "Amazing! What does it feel like? Flying I mean?"

> "It feels amazing,your up in the sky no care in the world.You feel free."She looked at him and smiled back.She was surprised she was even smiling.

> "How I envy you," he sighed. The sky seems the ultimate frontier. A bettle his kind could never win. Never having any type of wing entwined in their blood. "There seem to be so many flier in these lands. They seem so free and limitless."

> Giggling she nudged his neck softly."Its nice,until it snows and hails.Then its a ruined day,and the last time i had to fly in the hail,was when i had to get home quickly.My wings hurt for days."Viper stuck her toung out at him between her fangs.

> Ceros smiled and laughed. "The weather does seem to have its uyps and downs. i can see why your wings might have hurt."

> "Oh yes."Her white eyes looked into his as she stood there quietly with the stallion.Wondering what would happen next.

> Ceros smiled and looked up at thew sky in longing. But his eyes drifted to the moon which was already up quite high in the sky., "My its late!" The time had flown by without his knowing. "I am sorry to have kept you, thank you again miss." he bowed head. "I must take my leave, its been a pleasure."

> "Pleasure,Lets meet again sometime?"She nodded slightly and walked on her way towards some caves off the side of the mountains.
