Ceros and Rupali had been trotting together for about an hour, and soon they would arrive the coast of the beach. They chatted idely or just stayed in silence, watching nature fly by them. Ceros was enjoying his time with Ru greatly. He thought her very kind to show him around so much and tell him about everything. He smiled to himself and observed a small bird sitting on a young sapling, singing a soft tune. He whistled back at it with glee.

Without really thinking about it, Ru joined in with Ceros for a few short trilled notes. She spotted the bird shortly after him she was guessing or she might have actually whistled first. As soon as the few short musical notes were out she started to blush. Her family members were the only ones that ever heard her sing, hum, whistle, or anything like that Much to her mamma's disappointment. Both ears pricked forward keenly and she started to move at a little bit of a harder pace, "Listen!" Huffing and puffing a bit, "I... can.. hear.. the.. water!" With a silly squeal as the tree line broke she flew into a hard run, dashing about in the sand recklessly.

Ceros' ears listened as well, also hearing the crash and flow of the ocean water. A cold sensation ran down his spine. "Oh water...." he swalllowed hard but followed after his freind anyway.

Rupali abandoned her friend for just a few moments, beating out a hard fast pace in the sand, her hair flying behind her like a banner, tail lifted regally and a few orchid petals were lost in her figure eight. She loved the beach, she sometimes got to see the unofficial herd member here, An'Jeli, the Mer. Fenuk was also a big reason she came to this place. Finally, laughing just as she did as a foal she ran back up to Ceros and stopped, joy etched in her features. "Isn't.. it.. beautiful?" She turned and breathed in deeply, "It's so powerful here.. it's like it's made of something so much more important than any of us could ever know, you know?"

Cero came onto the sand and rock of the beach and looked out onto the endless ocean. He was taken by awe, but also by a fear of the amount of water laying just before him. He felt that would come in a huge wave and drown him. He stiffened but tried to notice the beauty the Ru saw. "It is amazing..." He whispered, looking at the sand and diffrent rocks. On some her could see colorful star shaped creatures. He quickly approached one curiously. "Oh! What is this?"

Rupali glanced at what he was looking at with curious eyes as well, Oh! It was a starfish. Without the slightest bit of fear she pranced over to the little creature and kept a respectable distance before sniffing it. The salty tang of ocean water filled her nostrils and she gave a sideways glance and grin up at Ceros, "A starfish.. The little buggers don't really move when they're on dry land but from what I've heard once under water they can be fast little suckers.. Also they can live here because they store up water in between the comings and goings of tides.. isn't that neat?"

Ceros nodded enthusiastically "Very interesting! I have never seen one! Or heard of one for that matter!" He chuckled to himself and smiled. "Are there any other such interesting creatures in the ocean? I once heard of creatures called....sharks i think it was. Are there any here?"

Ru winced at the idea of sharks being up on the beach, "Oh dear.. Sharks are a fearsome creature.. They're like the master's of the water.. They don't attack unless they're provoked or hungry from what I've been told but all the sea creatures steer clear of them because of their reputation to be vicious. I wouldn't want to cross a shark on a bad day." She shuddered lightly at the idea and then smiled, "I suppose they're like running into a kalona or heaven forbid a skinwalker..." It was at that time when a dark shadow started to come over Ru's face. Slowly moving from the shadows a strange aura and shade, a play of black and white and she froze with fear.
