"Please come Brian!" She begged. Her voice was in a low whisper. "please come with me. They can help, Im sure of it. I don't want us to break our friendship." The thought of losing him as her friend made her eyes fill with tears. it was too terrible. He had been her first friend in these lands. He had opened her mind and made her understand parts of her she had shut out. He was her best friend. He was the reason she could allow herself to love Suichii, her mate. Her mate was the reason she was here begging Brian to follow her. Recently, she and Brian had had an argument. It had turned out the Brian had assumed the Selena was a caring, quite soquili, while in reality, she was mysterious, un-trusting and far from kind. She was tough. And she had shown him that side of her. And now he no longer trusted her. He was straying further and further away from her. She could not allow him to do that. She had asked Suichii for advice, and he had old her to talk to his herdsmate, Claude and and a mare name Istas. They could probably help. Selena hoped they could. She had never hoped for something so strongly. But to find out if they could help, She had to take Brian as well.
"Please come, I need to you to come. For the both of us." She pleaded, tugging on his mane lightly.

"Why do i have to come with you!Who can help us?"Brian didn't understand anything that was happening.Of course he was there for her the first time.But when she showed him her true self,it blew up everything,his trust,his friendship.If she would've showed it the first day their friendship wouldn't be going to bullshit."If you would've shown who you truely were the first time we met,we wouldn't be like this right now and we wouldn't need help!"She started to tug on his mane and he let her.When she started to want him to go,he gave up and followed."I guess we can see what they can do.."

Istas had trekked her way up to the mountain to see Claude. And when she got there, his herd mate Shui talked about his mate, and how she was having trouble with her friend. Istas's ears had twitched as she kind of listened to the story. She and Claude were to help them?
Now that she thought of it, the two had over come a lot, and ended up becoming mates despite the odds. Wait, who was Shui again? She had never actually met him until this day, not that she had a problem talking or helping. Claude's herd she decided that she would treat them as if they were hers.
But she wondered who she would be talking too. She felt as if she could identify better with the mare, so talking to the stallion could be her stronger point...

Claude raised his head at the sound of approaching hoofbeats. He was curled comfortably next to the cold cinders, left over from the cooking fires last night. The early morning hurt his eyes as he blinked the sleepy blurs from his vision. He yawned and stood up on stiff legs and stratched his wings. He needed to get up into the skies, lest the next time be his last. He knew it was very possible for a winged soquili to lose the ability to fly from weeks of non-use, and fear that for himself. He looked around at his sleeping family. The sun had not yet peered fully over the mountain tops. He figured he would be back before they began to worry. With one powerful flap he took to the skies.
The wind that disturbed his mane as it hung down around his eyes also awakened him to such an extent that no other force could. He chuckled a little and propelled himself forward, faster and faster. The sky truly was the limit for him, and even that he planned to push past once he became an elder. Ah, to go up and touch the stars. The fly through the misty nebulas that dotted the ngiht skies. To fly so close to the sun, and perhaps bring a little of it back for his mother, who so dearly wished to take to the skies as he did. That would be bliss.
He was so deep in thought, he nearly missed the white dot that disturbed the brown of his landscape. He knew it was Istas before he began his descent.

Brian's words cut her deeply. She knew it was her fault. It was all her fault. She should have shown him. Or she might have just hid it for ever. Why did it have to show itself? Her killer side...Why did she lose control? "Please Brian. We need to meet them near the mountains." She recalled it all in her mind. Her mate, Suichii had told her that Istas and Claude will be waiting for them. And that they could possibly help Her and Brian figure things out. To begin understanding each other once more. And repairing the trust she had destroyed.
As she tugged, she felt him moving. He was willing to come. She let go and turned towards the west, where she knew help waited. "Brian, they can help us. To understand things and to understand each other again." She looked at him. Her eyes anxious and with out their usual sparkle.
"You know...Im still the same person. I have never changed."

Brain stared at her."We understand eachother fully.I'm just still stunned.Thats all."He sighed lightly as he followed her."It just seem like you did change by how you acted when Linnie and Rock were together,hanging,like we do."His words came out calmly."Who are we getting help from,And why do we need their help,were just fine,aren't we?"

She was in her own little world. She didn't even realize that Claude was near by. She padded her way up the mountain incline. It wasn't to far, the meeting place. Her eyes looked around and she tilted her head. She was teh first one there. Her ears flicked and she sighed some.
She practiced how to greet the other two. She went over and over it. It just didn't seem to sound right. Pacing back and forth she started to practice allowed.

Claude chuckled to himself as he followed behind Istas. "Istas... my love... darling... sweetheart... ahem baby I'm here." He was hard to keep the amusement from his voice. Finally, as she stopped. Claude was about to make himself known when she began to speak. A few words in and he knew she was not speaking to him. He leaned lazily to one side and listened with a crooked smile for a moment beore he tried again. "Love of my life, I've been following you up the whole mountain. Do tell me what bedevils you." He nudged her cheek slightly, to make sure he was noticed this time.

Selena continued to pull gently even as he had decided to cooperate. For some reason she didn't want to let go of him. She felt like he would...disappear. Or run away from her....Everyone always ran away, hated her, attacked her. But they always left. Left her all alone. And she was done with being alone.
As they walked, she ignored his questions and continued to walk, not even looking at him. Though once she saw the mountain, the meeting point, and two colored individuals atop it. She knew she had to do this, get it through with. It was time to find a solution. "Claude and Istas...thats who..." She began to scale the mountain towards them.

Brian stared at her and tugged her mane.Snorthing he followed her."Who are these two that you speak of?I have never heard of their names before."Brian didn't understand why they needed help.If they would just talk about it between them...Oh wait,they tried.Sighing his head bounced up and down as they walked towards the mountain.

Istas jumped hearing Claude's voice. She turned around to see him standing there. "Oh, I was just rehearsing. Not to sure how to go about it all..." She smiled at him. Looking out off the mountain. She saw the other two making their way up. Stretching herself out. "Did you want to talk with Brian, or Selene?" She had decided before even talking to Claude about it.

Claude laughed jovially when Istas jumped. Still so new to the relationship, and yet Claude didn't think he'd ever tire of her. Somehow he knew that the slightly impish edge Istas added to each one of her antics would always endear her to him. He nuzzled her neck, simply because he could not help it. He hummed as she asked her question, lifting his head to watch her. "Do I really have a choice in the matter?"
