So you want to be a gym leader? Well, we're looking for one! Just read on!

Requirement Info

• A gym leader is required to open gym challenges at least once every 3 months unless you inform the staff of a hiatus.
• Your character must have won at least 20 battles, or completed 20 roleplays, or a combination of the two to apply
• No, you do not need a type specialty
• You do not have to own a pokemon to apply, but in the battle section of the hiring, you will only be allowed to choose from weaker rental pokemon so it is highly suggested you own your own pokemon



Gym Leader Privileges

• One non-legendary, non-color-variation-dominant pokemon custom colored by mewrose
• Bragging rights
• You get to run a gym and be a boss
• All your pokemon get a default +50 HP boost


Round One Info

• You submit an application and wait till Round Two starts
• That's it. Really.


Round Two Info

• Starting February 8th 2015, you will be assigned to random opponents, the number of which depending on how many applications we get
• For people who applied with no pokemon, you will be provided a choice of rental pokemon, but don't expect for them to be very strong at all
• You will battle that opponent in a one vs one pokemon battle
• The top two entrants with the best scores will then do a battle with each other, with 2 pokemon or more in their team (number must be even to be fair).

What is Your Character's Motivation for Applying?: Mostly just to see how far he'd get. He applied for gym leader of Motterossa and got past the first round of battles, but was beaten in the second round. He wants to see if he could do better. He doesn't want to actually win, since he's happy as a Gym Trainer in Motterrosa right now, but he figures people much stronger than him are likely to apply.

[If there's an uneven number of applicants, feel free to drop Lyle if it would make the brackets line up more evenly. You could say the event organizers decided he was under the age limit or something. Or maybe Spinel ran off and Lyle spent too long chasing him, so he was disqualified. Whatever.]
