Lyle had thought Sentry's last battle with Warden was somewhat anticlimactic, since both Bidoofs had spent most of it asleep. So he proposed a rematch, which lead to him leading Sentry to the battlefield again.
Sentry stepped onto the hard concrete of the field, looking around for Warden. She was more than happy to have a rematch, since she'd been asleep when she apparently had been knocked out, and never felt like the battle had a real conclusion.

Sentry brightened up as soon as Warden entered the field. <"Hello Warden. No hard feelings. I'm sure this battle will be much better."> She scurried up to him and nuzzled him tenderly.

Cartoon-like, heart-shapes appeared in Warden's eyes as he fell under her Attract spell. He nuzzled her back, though the back of his brain told him that this was a battle. He felt completely immobilized by his love for her.

Sentry hated to use his affection against him, but she was not about to give up just because they were mates. She cringed and looked balefully at him. <"How could you do this?"> she asked before she lashed out again.
