Roll an Eleven: Canyon Field: The canyon walls towers high towards the ceiling while the ground sinks downwards several levels, making the top and bottom of the field very difficult to see without special equipment. The cliff faces are very steep with little ridge support for grabbing and climbing; on top of that, the rock faces are very damp which makes grabbing and holding on very difficult. A few skinny trees and roots jut out from the cliff and allow smaller, nimbler pokemon to grab and swing around. At the very bottom of the canyon’s long drop is a deep pool of water. Keeping up is difficult for trainers on this particular battlefield, so stadium officials have set up a special view screen on each of the trainer platforms. A mini camera will follow your pokemon around while it battles (of course, it’s programmed to back off when a pokemon does an attack) and the view screen will enable trainers to issue commands to their companions via microphone. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to FLYING and ROCK type attacks.

Cara traipsed into the stadium and saw that they had the Canyon field again. This would be perfect for Spirit. Lots of room to maneuver and if her opponent didnt use a flying type, they wouldn't be able to move around that well. Cara hopped into her trainer's box and saw that her opponent was once again Walpurgis and his crazy Rattata. Perfect, they wouldn't know what hit 'em this time....hopefully. Cara waved to over to him. "Hey! I see we meet again Walpurgis...and you too Gangrel." Cara called over. "I think it's time for our rematch, only this time, I think Im going to use a different pokemon, one with a better advantage." She said the last part with a grin and pulled out a pokeball.

She tossed the pokeball up into the air and called out, "You're up Spirit! Let's show 'em what we're made of!" Out shot the usual red light and it formed into a vibrant green Vibrava. She hovered near Cara for a moment who said, "Let's do our very best to blow their pants off ok? Oh and be careful, that Rattata has a mouth on him and I think he likes to try and psych out his opponents." Cara said the last part with an odd look on her face. Spirit nodded in understanding and went onto the field, readying herself to fight.

Cara winced as the blizzard hit Spirit hard. Spirit was sent flying back by the attack and Cara could tell that the icy attack hurt. Cara had forgotten that Rattata could use ice type moves...but she knew that she and Spirit could still win this thing even if her opponent was using a seriously damaging move. Suddenly, Cara remembered that normal types were weak against fighting type moves, luckily Spirit knew one. "Ok Spirit, let's hit 'em back with Rock Smash!"

Spirit recovered from the freezing onslaught and sped at Gangrel, picking up speed. As she went, her legs started glowing with strength and power. As she reached Gangrel, her aim was dead on.

Spirit was hit hard again, and was sent flying back. Cara winced, there wasn't anything she could do for her beloved Vibrava except cheer her on and help her keep fighting the good fight. When Spirit had recovered from the attack she readied herself for the next attack. "You can do it Spirit, I believe in you! Go find that sneaky Rattata and use Rock Smash again!"

Spirit immediately zipped into the cavern, her legs gearing up for the attack. She knew exactly where her opponent was by listening to the ultrasonic sounds that were created when the the winds that were created by her wings reverberated off the cavern walls. She honed in on the rat and struck hard.

Spirit was blown out of the cavern by the icy winds. The ice and snow hit her harder than before and she hit the rocky wall of the canyon hard. "SPIRIT!!" Cara called out, seriously worried about her pokemon. Spirit slid down the face of the cliff-side onto a ledge and tried to get up, but the last attack had been to much for her. She collapsed on the ground; she had fainted, which meant that Gangrel and Walpurgis had won once more. Cara's sighed slightly in defeat but got down out of her trainer's box and made her way to Spirit quickly. She put the injured Vibrava in her lap as she sat next to her on the ground after the stadium had returned to its normal setting. "You did an awesome job Spirit, I'm so incredibly proud of you. You deserve a nice long rest." Cara said. She then pulled out Spirit's pokeball and had the Vibrava return to its safety until she got to the pokemon center.

Cara then got up and dusted herself off. She sighed and looked back over at Walpurgis. "I guess we'll have to have another rematch again soon Walpurgis..and you too Gangrel. But it will have to wait till I get Spirit all fixed up...and do a bit more training. I'll see you two later!" Cara waved to the two as she jogged out of the stadium, quickly heading to the pokemon center where she could get Spirit all fixed up.
