Seashore Field: Split down the middle between land and sea, this field compliments land and water type pokemon. On the west end of the field is the land section: fine grained sand gradually slopes downward to meet the salt water on the east end of the battleground. A single palm tree wavers lightly in the breeze while shells are scattered in random places in and on the sand. In the water half of the battleground, the water laps at the sand much like at a real beach; when it retracts it leaves behind strands of seaweed and pieces of coral. Both are found under the water, offering shelter for water-types (or those who can hold their breath for great periods of times). This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to GROUND and WATER type attacks.

Alexa walked into the stadium and released Apolla. The fox looked around giving the water a disdainful look. She was clearly not happy to be on another water type field.

Gepardo stepped in, giving a look at the field before he lightly gave Muerto's rump a tap with his boot to go on. Muerto gave the cheery field a growl before trotting on it, staying far, far away from the water.

Alexa waved to Gepardo and then turned to look at his pokemon. It was another Houndour but with some interesting markings. "Okay Apolla use Dig!" She called out.
Apolla looked at the Houndour who was also avoiding the water. Seemed like it would be easy enough to stay out of the water. Hearing the attack however made her cast a unhappy look at her trainer. Using dig would make her dirty. She did listen and began to dig so she could tunnel under the hound and pop up from below.

Gepardo gave a waved back and looked at his pokedex with quiet some interest. "...Toxic?"
Muerto gave a quirked look as the ninetails disappears under the sand. What was it doing? Feeling the ground shake under his paws, he tried to move away, but was too late as one of his back paws was caught. Tumbling a bit, he turned around, licking his lips as poison began to drip out of his mouth. Giving a toothy smirk, he spat a gunk of it towards the ninetails.

Apolla gave the Houdour a disdainful look when she saw the poison dripping from his mouth. She dodged the wad of gunk by digging down into the sand. She tunneled around before popping up under the dog.

Muerto snarled angrily, managing to keep from getting a full hit, he turned to released a cloud of poisonous smoke towards the surfacing Ninetails.

Apolla went right though the poisonous smoke and began coughing. She quickly burrowed under to get away from the smog. She then tunneled up ready to attack Muerto.

He gave a yelp at the attack before once again trying to bite the pretty ninetails with poison riddled fangs.

"Ow! What do you think you're doing?! You're going to ruin my coat with those horrible poison fangs!" Apolla complained looking at her leg where the Houndour had bitten her. She licked the area around the wound to make sure there was no poison ruining her fur. Once that was done she dove back into the hole she had just appeared out of and tunneled under the dog.

Muerto gave a chuckled at the complains from the ninetails, vain little things, weren't they?. He yelped at the hit and a gave a growl, he breath out a thick smoke into the tunnel.

Apolla avoided the smog by staying out of the tunnel. She hissed at him and moved away. However she staggered a bit as she moved due to the poison. She whipped her tails sending stars at the Houndour.

Bolting himself around, he tried to get away from the stars but flattered at the many tunnels the ninetails had built. He was too many times and soon fell into a faint.
Gepardo retrieving him into his pokeball. "Thank you for the battle"

Apolla huffed at the fainted pokemon, clearly upset over him biting her and possibly messing her fur up. She then walked over to her trainer and waited to be recalled.
Alexa rolled her eyes at Apolla and recalled her. "You're welcome and thanks as well." She said before leaving.
