Roll a Twelve: Graveyard Field:In this particular field selection, the stadium ceiling is shut tight, covering the entire inner area of the stadium in a veil of pure darkness. The ordinary dirt field is swapped out for a field full of grave stones scattered across the lifeless soil. Near the northern end of the battle field, a single withered tree stands hunched over as though in constant mourning of those who rest for eternity here. A dense fog weaves in and out of the headstones and hinders vision. The fog itself seems damp and heavy, like the tears of the living mourning for the lost. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to GHOST and DARK type attacks.

Mephistopheles floated reverently through the graveyard, feeling the power the spirits had in their past lives invigorating him. The barrier between the world of the living and the world of the dead was weaker here.

Up in the trainer box, Lenore tried to make out what the tombstones said as she waited for the match to start.

Alexa was back in the ring with the same challenger. The other trainer had asked to battle against all her pokemon, one at a time. She agreed but didn't like the field they got this time. The ghost pokemon now had home field advantage.

Apolla walked through the graveyard until she saw the other pokemon. She held her head up high and flicked her tails haughtily. She certainly liked being a ninetails and thought herself better than others more than ever. Even though she had only battled once before she was confident in her skills.

Not giving the other pokemon much time to react, Apolla was on the move. She dashed towards the ghost and flicked her tails at him. Her tails kicked up a dark, repulsive wind.

Mephistopheles endured the wind before regarding the ninetails. "Greetings. My name is Mephistopheles and I am your opponent today, as you seem aware. Good luck to you."

Raising his arms, he sent a fel wind of his own to attack the ninetails.

Apolla took the hit and quickly moved away. "Hello Mephistopheles. I am Apolla." She would have said she was the one to take him down but she didn't like to eat her own words.... not that she felt that she would. She opened her mouth and spat out a pillar of flame towards her opponent.

The duskull shielded himself from most of the attack, but some still got through. A barrage of fel wind said that the battle wasn't nearly over.

Apolla wasn't happy with the burn that she gave Mephisto. She wanted something more lasting than that. Especially with the plan she had working out in her mind. After getting hit with the wind she shot out a flamethrower at the duskull.

Another fel wind blew the flames off track before going for the ninetails itself.

Lenore ignored the tombstones and began watching the match. If the writing meant anything, she couldn't make it out.

Apolla glared at the ghost when he deflected her flames. She wasn't even fast enough to dodge the wind coming at her. Seeing her fur ruffled quite a bit made her pissed. Her plan just went out the wind as her tails sent a blast of wind at the duskull.

Mephistopheles felt the unholy winds blow over him. He responded in kind to the ninetails.

Apolla growled her anger at the duskull. "Quit messing up my fur!" She shouted. Her tails again whipped up the ominous wind sending it towards him.

Mephistopheles might have apologized had he heard the ninetails. As it was, the raging fel winds made it impossible to hear anything as he volleyed back the winds.

Apolla jumped away and the winds just missed her. She turned around and ran away. She would circle around and put some distance between them. Once in a good position she whipped her tails kicking up the winds again.
